Nice short track and one very old temple is here but opening timing is not mentioned thier
Morning reach their it's opened at 6: 30 am
And enjoy ur track it's very nice short and mud roads between the trees and u can enjoy sun rise at morning
When u start its very bore but after some time it's looks good
Reach at peek and then coming back it's noce experience
After coming back bone shop is thier
Enjoy fired rice with curd and coconut chutney and coffeee
Maggy idly u can enjoy
Only the thing washroom is not thier so u can use only jungle

Its not difficult to trek here, its the easiest one i have ever seen. If they allow us to trek until top then i can say it's difficult. Before visiting the place please check are they allowing to top or not, otherwise it's not worth to visit

A lovely hill trek in monsoon. Mostly covered by mist and one will get to enjoy the view only if the clouds clear and the sun appears. Time spent- 3 hours.

When I visited recently in Dec 10-2022 it was closed due to elephants inside the trek point

This place is heaven in monsoon season and in the morning and nowadays tourist visitors are more and they threw the plastic.
So I requesting in you please don't threw the plastic

This is must visit place if you are on a fitter side. It should take 45 mins to reach thr peak. But the view was just mesmerizing.

Super place to trek. The winter season will be the best time to visit this place. In the rainy season it will fully covered by mist. You wouldn't be see place properly. Please take water bottles and make sure you throw it into dustbin. Do not harm the nature. It will be difficult to climb as it has a steap in last stage. You have to pay 50rs entry fees and for parking 50rs.

The place is beautiful with the best view u can ever see, the forest should look after the cleanliness of the place as they are charging entry fee the public

An unusual rock formation, huge and imposing, one has to trek to reach the place but it's a bit sternous, we have to trek through a thick forest area. As it's located at a remote area, one should have own transport to reach the place. There is a sacred temple of Nanya Bhairaveswara, the same priest run a tea shop nearby. It's better to take assistance of any local person or forest staff for proper guidance.

Ettina Bhuja is located at byrapura village in mudigere range of chickmanglur district.
It offers scenic landscape which is about 5km round trip at an altitude of 1300m 4265ft.
It is one such mountain that is part of charmadi ghats.
There is a rock phase to climb which is 75 to 80 degrees inclination.
When Once u reach the top, feast yourself to panoramic views of dense green forests.
I would say camera lens cannot capture the true and real beauty of nature more better than your eyes and soul.

Really a refreshing one. Don’t go in summer and rainy seasons, pre-monsoon and post monsoon is correct time and good to trek, also a dangerous one in the top, pls don’t neglect in top.

Very pretty and well marked hiking trail. Forest department have placed sign boards throughout the trail. We hiked just before monsoon, temperature was very pleasant and made it easy to hike. It took us 35mins from temple to summit. Hiking time will be around 45min to 1 hour.

A small trek.some stamina, some courage and good shoes will do it. About 3-4 kms. Initially it's not that steep.but to get to the peak.it's not that easy. Not enough grips but it's all worth it after you get there. Make sure you are in comfortable clothes and shoes. Entry fees rupees 50/head. Carry water bottles / refreshments if required. There's one stall near the temple at the base.after that there are no supplies.

One of the most amazing place. Start you treak before 7 to get an amazing view of the sunrise. Please wear proper shoes as there will be to many leach while climbing.

If u love trekking, it's a must visit place.
Located around 20km from mudigere. Park car near temple with a parking fee of INR 50.20-30 min walk through the forest to reach the foot of ethina bhuja. Final stretch of the hill is a most difficult part. Have to climb through the rock formations to reach the top (recommended to wear shoes). But it's a awesome experience to reach the top

A very good place for trekking for beginner. The trek is about 3-4 kilometers. The last kilometer is steep and gets a bit difficult. Better to go in morning or the place is covered by fog and views are not visible. Beware of leeches. The trek stats from nala byreshwara temple so you can follow googlr map till there and it is better to download tge map before as there is little or no network in route. Parking is 50/-. Make sure your vehicle has enough fuel has there are no fuel stations nearby for around 40 km radius but you can get fuel for slightly higher price at nearby villages. The trek is lil bit slippery so wear proper shoes. Dont give up for the last main ox peak climb as that view from there is worth the hard work.

A nice trek through a couple of kilometers of thick foliage brings you to a two level hill which is an easy-moderate climb for a layman. The climb to the top is absolutely worth it which gives a 360° view of mountain ranges in the Chikmagalur area and beyond.
Beware of leeches in the forest area.
Take some water along, but please do not litter.
We saw determined people aged above 65 years make it to the top. Likewise, kids around 8 years also managed the climb easily.

Amazing place for people who start their first trekking experience.it can be a small workout experience.always have a small trip with nature for your good health.never litter non-degradable waste while you are on a way to nature walk.

I literally felt like I'm in heaven for a moment. Such a great place, while climbing u might get some difficulty in the end but it's worth struggle. And I felt soo bad seeing plastic bottles, covers etc. Kindly maintain cleanliness. It's our responsibility

I went here few weeks back, I absolutely loved it
For trekking you have to start from basaveshewara temple.
There is parking fee which villagers collect around ₹20-₹50 depending on ur vehicle
Before.there was ₹250 entrance fee but now it was not collected.and you don't get any guide.
The trail is simple.keep in mind tht during frst diversion of the taril take LEFT.and during next diversion take the MIDDLE path.if you take other trail.u will end up in dead end.better to keep this in mind.
If u reach early around. 7/8 there will be less crowd.
Trek is around 3-4 km.not sure.it's easy.except last few meters.wear a shoe with proper grip for easy climb.
Please have additional fuel before coming here.coz. Around 25-30km radius there is no petrol bunk.
Recommended time to vist is.during November.
If u go now you see mostly Fogg.nd u will miss the view

Wonderful place. When we went there forest officials tried to block us from trekking. Later the village people argued and made us visit the place. Get a confirmation whether trekking is allowed and later visit the place.

We had a little difficulty finding this place as maps just shows the shortest route which is thru a thick forest.
We enquired with the locals and they directed us to the correct path. It's about 5km more than where maps shows. There is an old temple where the locals come regularly to worship. You park nearby and start walking on the forest trail on the left.
Reaching the base was easy but the climb to the top was tough, made worse by the midday sun. However the view from the top is worth it.
It's better to try this during early morning, preferably by 8am. Carry plenty of water and light snacks. Caps and sunglasses are recommended. Wear trekking shoes to avoid stress on your soles and calves.

It was truly an amazing experience trekking at Ettina Bhuja. Around 1.5 km you have to walk inside coffee estate then Ettina Bhuja (OX bow) will appear then again you should start a journey, at tip it's little challenging to climb. But once you reach the top you will get to see the Mesmerizing view of the Mountain.
