This place go live after Dasara and the fair typically lasts for a few months after Dussera. The crowd pullers are all those stalls selling anything from toys to plastic goods to cloths to fashion accessories to kitchen utensils.

And of course the crowd finally settles at those open air food stalls one find as the indispensable finale of any fairs or exhibitions in Mysore.

The exhibition ground is quite sprawling that demands a good deal of walking. At the extreme end is the amusement section with giant wheels, toy trains etc.

It is located right across the main gate (Jayamarthanda Gate) of Mysore Palace. Cross the road, you are already on the exhibition grounds. Opposite to the exhibition ground is a sprawling parking lot. The ticket counter is located right beneath the massive archway to the exhibition grounds.

The whole exhibition ground sits on the bed of an erstwhile lake called Doddakere (means, big lake). That's why the ground is at a unusually lower level compared to palace locality or the roads around it. The history of Doddakere is another story any way.

The ground also has a separate parking area and costs around 50 rupees.
But the place requires better maintenance and cleanliness, the place was untidy.
The cost of ride tickets and food items are a bit pricey.
But overall a good spot for every age group.

A ground for exhibition with stalls of things to buy, cultural stage for songs, drama and shows, play area as well. Facilities are not great and the washroom is available but cleanliness is questionable.

This is the best place to visit for cheap shopping and games during dasara and after that.

All types of shopping is available on this ground and its very good time pass for 3 to 5 hours for sure. U can eat wrever u want Here.

Nowadays I see that the price of games and food has been increased a lot. 3 bajji cost 50 and 1 Delhi papad costs 50 which is very expensive. Churmuri is also 50 and chatsvalso 50.

Games are atleast 80 rs per ride. 100 for adults one. If ur playing all types of games here u better go wonderla or grs fantasy park which might feels expensive for entry fee but playing games and all there is a different feeling.

Food r avg taste and they don't even manage good hygiene here. Toilet ls shud need a upgradtion.

They stopped drinking water taps now n they want us to buy plastic water bottles which is also costs 25 but they r 20 outside.

Totally this exhibition has become expensive for the quality they provide inside.

Few shop owners here behave indecent. Shouting on top of their voice makes it a new sence. Don't forget to carry cash as online payment could be a challenge due to network issues in this area.

Exhibition Grounds and Mysuru Exhibition Ground both are same and it is situated almost half the way to the Mysuru palace and Mysuru zoo on either side. This exhibition ground attracts the public who visits the above places. The entry ticket is a must to enter this place, this places consists of shops like dresses, materials, home decorative's, fantasy park, chats zone, playing area and many more to enjoy. The complete stretch of the ground to enjoy including games and all other stuff will take approximately 6 hours, so keep some water bottle and umbrella (during sunny climate).

It's in center of the city, exhibition opens during the main event on dasara. Where we can enjoy with friends and family.

A very good place, located opposite of front gate of mysore palace.good parking facility is avaiable. Here arts, science, education, farmers etc exhibitions also there. It is also tourist attracting place of mysore.entry per head is 20 rupees.small small many shopd are available inside the exhibition. Also food exhibition shops are there.

The Mela held there from dusherra till Jan is awesome. It's so large place. You can find many unique things to shop in it.

Excellent place for playing games and for shopping and all the stalls are here are across India and there is a entry fees

A place to visit during the Dasara festival. This will be open from 4 PM to almost 11 PM.

Apart from Dasara there will be small exhibitions organized.

The place is interesting, like a fun fair packed with street vendors. There's plenty of food and soft drinks to try. The place is crowded but not to the point of a nuisance.
The night lights are picturesque and the place is certainly worth a visit, although you'll probably finish in less than an hour.

Good place to visit along when you're coming to Mysore Palace as it is quite nearby. It will be active around Dussera festival and the festivities will last for few more weeks.
There are lot of souvenir stores where you can buy things like toys, traditional clothes, etc. There are lot of food stalls and sweets counters.
It also has lot of rides like Giant wheel and similar. Some of them seemed pretty dangerous and thrilling. So if you're such kind of thrill seeker, you may try.
The security personal at the gates told that videography is forbidden, which is just ridiculous as it is not a monument or anything.

It's the pride of Mysuru all over from the city and villages people come and now a days malls are there but few years ago there were no malls and this was like that. Karnataka State government has taken a wonderfull step of introducing the various departments works and achievements and even the great personality lives like Kuvempu and others and they have also made a prototype of there house and they also gave a free book that had completely about themselves and their achievements. It's like a must visit place.
