Highly recommended place. Staff are very nice and humble. Location is right fit for family and kids. Kids especially can have lot of fun. Price is affordable.

I recently had the unfortunate opportunity to stay at Farmer's Son Resort, and I must say it was a truly nightmarish experience. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this place was a complete disaster.
The staff at Farmer's Son Resort were rude and unhelpful. They displayed a shocking lack of professionalism and were clearly disinterested in providing any sort of quality service. They seemed to be inconvenienced by our presence and were slow to respond to any of our requests. It was evident that customer satisfaction was not a priority for them.
Moving on to the accommodations, the rooms were in an appalling state. They were dirty, shabby, and clearly in need of maintenance. The bedding was stained and had a musty odor, making it impossible to have a comfortable night's sleep. The bathroom was no better, with a leaky faucet, clogged drains, and an overall lack of cleanliness. It was truly a nightmare to spend time in such unhygienic conditions.
The pool was murky and uninviting, and it seemed like it hadn't been cleaned in ages.
To add insult to injury, the dining experience at Farmer's Son Resort was nothing short of a disaster. The food was tasteless, poorly prepared, and overpriced. The limited menu options were disappointing, and the service in the restaurant was incredibly slow. We left feeling both hungry and deeply dissatisfied with the entire dining experience.
This place failed to meet even the most basic standards of hospitality. I strongly urge anyone considering staying at this resort to look elsewhere for a truly enjoyable and comfortable vacation experience.

Itvwas awesome budget resort and homestay in sakleshpur.many activities and must visit place un sakleshpur.its mid of hassan and sakleshpur so near to both places and all tourist places are also near by

We are from sri vagdevi academy. We have been there in farmer's son resort for 2 days enjoyed a lot and staff are awesome they responded every nice. Cleanliness are maintained perfectly and food is awesome and tasty. Games are also quite good.

I wish there was an option to opt zero start to this pathetic place. I'm really sorry to the person who owns this place and has no idea on what sort of manager (PRATHAP) they have hired. It's not just about the place a stay is all about hospitality and respect they show to their guest which is a big ZERO here.
I had pre-booked the my group stay for a week day through online booking. Just to know if it's conifmed I contact them and this fellow Prathap texts me on watsapp saying plz choose other stay like bamboo house etc which has more facilities. I said I will talk to my team and update. He suggested me to cancel online booking and make direct booking. I felt the online price is much cheaper and did not make changes. I called back Pratap confirming the same and then starts the drama.
First he says sorry we cannot take ur booking as it's weekend demand. Lol I had made a week day booking and then he starts no either book with us or cancel or else after u guys reach our property we won't allow you!
He was literally threatening me to take direct booking. No respect nor Manners of how to speak to their guest and dono how did he become a property manager.
I really wish the property owners gets to read this review and take strick action on PRATHAP.
Guests please don't be fooled with the pictures your time and money will go wasted visiting this place with such people. There are 100 more stays. Look for the one that respects ur stay and visit.

It's been wonderful journey.we all enjoyed a lot.tasty food, good service everything was perfect.some activities need little more maintenence.

Beautiful Homestay made with natural things. I liked the bamboo tree house. Lot of activities to try over and best place to spend with family or your loved ones with complete greenery.
Located out of the city and pocket friendly Homestay. Worth for food and joy. I had lot of fun over. I had celebrated my birthday with all fun.
It’s the beat Homestay who prefer less crowd and greenery with spacious place to roam over.

Not Expected level pls give importance to Restroom cleanness and adventure game are not running

Excellent.they have had tried to give everything possible even with campsite concept, amused by their concept and hospitality.managed local guys can not expect star ettiquites but they were lovely to guests. They have iron, washing facility and common area TV play station games, and many outdoor indoor water and adventure activities to keep guests busy.can be enjoyable in groups.tried some funky concept slide in treehouse outdoor gym and kids toys some rope activities.whole campus maintained clean.nice food too.all the best

Worst Experience, Worst hospitality, No Cleanliness and unhygienic, staff response is too bad, No proper Amenities. Please Don't visit

Not the best resort. Its an average to spend half a day. Food is awesome, feels bored after sometime can't enjoy much

Amazing staff. They will provide all the service requested. Clean rooms & toilets. Very good environment, go with friends or couple no doubt you will enjoy the time. Food is also good, we had no problem with it. Only thing is all the places are little far from this resort. At least 40min drive to each place you plan for. Not a negative point but something can't be ignored. If you only want to spend quality time in the resort this is hand picked place.

Bamboo rooms were full of rats even though we didn't take any food items inside. The rats ate through our bags and no compensation was provided. Moreover the washrooms were common even after checking with them for private ones. The stay experience was worst. I would never go here again or suggest the place to anyone.

Only good thing is the services of the ppl working there. They were kind and cooked good food.

They failed to give promised items or services to give as mentioned before game as mentioned in website are fake non-proper gaming props available there if u want to spend a quality time for 2k to 3k I don't prefer this Resort

Worst it was an horrible experience please do not visit this place.this place is not suitable for family r couples horrible smelll no cleanliness food is not hygenic, we had wasted our time by visiting this place do not visit this resort by seeing the pics this place is not at all good we came to this resort by seeing the pics but this place was not good but we had paid the full amount of 4k for two people because they had told to pay the full amount but this place is not at all good bad experience and than we decided to go away from here and we asked them give us back the money but the owner deducted 2k amount that to only for 2 hours this place is waste of time and waste of money worst resort will never visit again its disgusting its not worthy very bad experience.

Nice experience to stay, adventure games are realy nice. Good Food and snacks, Staff are superb in service.we miss fire camp with dj due to rain, The place is realy nice to stay with friends and family.

This place has horrible service food is bad Not fit for family, not value for money, don’t go by drown shorts those are old video and place has very management, once money paid no one will response to ur complaint, if want to have bad holiday u should go

Great ambiance, good food, friendly staff, pet friendly and alcohol friendly resort. The charges include breakfast, lunch, and dinner, along with snacks. Rates are reasonable. Paintball and few other group activities cost extra.

We stayed 1 day in a pinewood cottage and the other day in a bamboo treehouse. Pinewood was great with an attached bathroom. The treehouse was congested and had a bathroom outside. Though they managed to keep the bathroom separate for each team, it was pretty inconvinient.

Staff - Kishor, Nagraj, and Piblo were very friendly. We enjoyed our stay. Hope to visit again and stay at Pinewood cottage.

They have good day out activities and also indoor games like carrom, TT and Chess. Food is average here. One of the main constraint is the restrooms not being attached to the bamboo cottages. (They have a common restroom to access)

We group of colleagues from office visited and had a blast.its nice experience to visit the campsite and engage many activity.staff are very cautious and help in all activity.food is also good.tariff is lowest in the entire sakleshpur. For nominal price we can order any food in veg and non veg other then tariff.with in camp they have water slide rain dance and mu volley ball which we enjoyed since its hot sunny day. ATV and rope courses and paintball is engaged by staff.suggest to others too.only drawback is toilets and bathroom facility is not attached but they kept neat with many usage boards around.camp is also kept clean with multiple dustbins and they share the audio and video regarding rules and regulations

A nice place for family and friends with activities. Food and Fun is suitable subtitle. Supporting staff. Food and amenities worth for money. Have many activities to spend some quality time with friends and family. Nature is at best in june to august.nearby river, railway track for small trekk is added advantage. They also have a place for trekking and its too beautiful and worth trekking.

Nice place with all Games. Location is superb with chill climate. Food is good but required to improve. All sort of sports games are there. Best palce to do parting with friends. Rooms are good but smaller rooms. If required they provide fire camp. Food is good but quality to improved. Dart bike Volley ball cricket Paint ball Archery. Mud volley ball is good but water is not good. Terrking is also there but we haven't visited it.

Very bad.pls don't visit this place.not maintained and ppl working here don't care of anything. Mr pradeep is manager here and most of the time he will not be here. Only 3 bathroom are available for 50 to 60 ppl. I don't recommend this place for any one.

It is a nice place for family and we had lot of fun. The only thing which was disappointing was the pathway to our rooms and it was hectic in rainy season. No proper stonepaths to the hut.

Best place for many adventure activities, people are nice and help with activity. Camp is off road around 5kms and we can go to nearby river by cycles or by walk. Green trek route railyway track pass through near by resort which on the way to river. Food is also delicious and they serve both veg and non veg. On request they arrange jain food as one our friend needed. On extra amount we can buy any starters or tandoor food or roti.best activities are Quad bike, dirt bike, paintball, can also do water related activity like mud volleyball rain dance and water slide.camp also have many pets like cows, ducks rabbits dogs many more.family enjoyed to best

Nice environment, whole time it was raining still we could enjoy many activities. ATV and Dirt bikes were amazing and group paint ball also we enjoyed.its still under construction and next 1 year it will be really a nice place.draw back is toilets are not attached to rooms and rooms are not normal cement construction and not much spacious.but rest all facility and food taste is good.once can easily spend 2 3 days here doing activity and all tourist places are also near by

We have enjoyed every bit staying in farmers son. Especially the hospitality and the friendly staff who were always ready to help. Facilities and the activities are very good too. Thanks for staff and management. We stayed in this resort for one day.

Never experienced such a waste service from any Resort.
First things first. There is no one to open resort gate, we have opened it on you ur own and went. Such a great welcome we received.
Freaking Welcome drink. Servered with Rasna called as Orange juice, Lassi and home made wine.
Issues we faced were like:
The one who is managing the Resort is very irrsenpirresp, he is not even trying to understand the issues which we are addressing and got answers like happened is happened what can we done, instead of resolving the issues.
No hot water provided. We waited for 40 minutes to get hot water finally ended up bathing with freaking cold water.
They say food is ready and ask you to come to Common area, once you go there they I'll make you wait for 20-30 minutes as of they are providing free food.
They arranged rain dance with no music, upon several times reminding them they arranged it after 30 minutes.and on Call he says we have asked you to get your own songs for playing music.
And other important thing is if they start the motor to run water for rain dance it will take 25 minutes minimum to get water from all the sprinklers.
They have play station PS3 but which will make you end up in waiting for the game to load.
Provided cycles to explore a near by place. Cycles were in worst condition.
They have archery, one bow with 3 arrows, of which one is good and rest 2 are in worst stage.
We we're arranged the tree houses, it is a very small space with Continous bed where 3 people can sleep, No place to stand in room and if one person needs to cross you. There is no way.
Fire camp the worst.the live hood used was wet Coconut branches and ended up with smoke.
Coming to Indoor games.
Carrom Board, which is small size one but ok to play
Table tennis table is the worst one, it is mini size one
Snooker table. It would be good not to call it as a table. It is 1/4th the size of original one.
Chess is ok
Mud volleyball. Court is good to play, but one court is 1/4 times bigger than other. And a small pool.
Food taste is average, quality below average, quantity the worst part

It was good expirence and nice place with most humble people as staff go to all possible extent to serve you with happy face 24/7. Most liked part is simple and no time limit on anything.most like our own property to enjoy and do things at our convenient.loads of activities and super environment with mostly rainy now.still can explore all activity.nearby river also running very well as much rain.suggest to all people

Was there in April 2018. When you book you or enquire you get a hell load of fancy information about the Resort and Facilities, but wait don't get too carried away. What you see on Website or Read on whatssapp message sent by them is not what you get.

Reaching there itself is a pain. The whatsapp message you get after booking says there are lot of radium stickers leading you to the place, but you will not see none. I lost way and Had a tough time to reach there. (But thats not a major problem at all).

After you enter the Resort, you will be disappointed with the first look itself as nothing is clean or well maintained. Rooms are dirty and everything from Children Play area to Zip line are all broken and dirty. The Paint ball gun is dirty and rusted, and none of the ATB or the bike works.

You just have to sit in between the ruins (cause you cant even sit in the rooms as they are dirty).

I would give 2 stars only the courteousness of the employees working there and the way to attend to visitors. The food was awesome too. For all the rest its a Big Thumbs Down.

So for all those who are going to visit this place like me watching the fancy Youtube videos or Website, please cross check before visiting.

Hygiene-Place is not clean.
Food-Lunch was less than average quality and dinner food was very bad. Breakfast was good.
Only chilled water was available throughout. Got cold out of that. Water point was 200 mts away from our room.
Activities-Fun activities such as paintball, Atb, shooting were limited. Boring activities like trampoline and water slide was available throughout the day. Mud volleyball court has a lot of sharp stones. You will definitely get cuts if you play in it. Bonfire was part of our stay. But resort guys were reluctant to light the bonfire. Only after insisting consistently they agreed to light the bonfire.

It's a basic, self service, camping kind of a place. If you are looking for a relaxed comfortable place, then this is not it. They have two types of accomodation; a tree house (not actually a tree house, but rooms built from wood at a height) and a tent accommodation. None of them have attached bathrooms. They have common bathrooms away from the accommodation. They have a lot of out door activities like rope walk, dirt biking, atv, paint ball, mud volley ball, Bow and Arrow, etc. The staff were friendly and manage the activities nicely. We had taken the tree house, which was clean but very cramped. The place is mainly for a group of friends and not for families with kids or senior citizens. It was raining non stop when we had gone and the whole place was damp and muddy, and without an attached bath, it's really inconvenient especially for the kids. To be fair to the resort management, they have clearly mentioned what to expect of the resort on their website. One request to the management: please set the turtles free from the fish tank, nobody likes to see animals struggle in a confined space.

Had the most memorable time with friends.nice place to hangout with large group.nice food, so many activity to keep you engage and cool down in slide rain dance and mud volleyball, However dont expect luxury with budgeted stay. Nice concept and beautiful place.
