Excellent food with decent ambience however pricing is bit on higher side. Recommended for people on their vacation to Coorg.

This place is immaculate and their service is completely satisfactory. We tried pomfret curry punchpuli and chicken lollipop and both were 5/5 in taste. We really loved their Schezwan sauce. The chicken is halal here so it's even more popular in coorg their. Must visit.

Amazing restaurant for non veg lovers. Authentic mangalorean style food. However veg food was also good.

Was a little bit shocked to see a mangalore style restaurant here in the coorg district. The restaurant is peppered all across the other cities of coorg so you are bound to come face first with one of their branches. The food is on the expensive side. Taste wise I did not feel justified. The fish curry did not have any flavour. The biriyani was really good. But the seafood side of the lunch was particularly ordinary. Would suggest to stick to the meat section. The ambiance and area I have to say was great. Good space to come with large groups.

Not as good as before. Dunked 2 stars as even though they have expanded the restaurant they have not managed to maintain the quality of food that they had 2 years ago. Now for someone from Mangalore they are just about average.

Food was not at all tasty as per the expectation. Never buy Neer dosa with curry's. Too much costly.

Good food and great taste of coastal cuisine. However, the price is very high. 600 rs per plate of prawns. Even in restaurants or famous breweries in bangalore the cost is half.

The seafood is especially priced like a 7 star hotel's price here.

We ordered fish curry and rice with chicken ghee roast for two people. The food lacked both taste and quantity. The restaurant is very overpriced. Very dissatisfied and disappointing. Never visiting this or any of its branches again!

Nice non veg resturant serving delicious coastal food. Fish dishes are their speciality. As it's venture of Poojari Fishland, Mysuru it maintains the brand value.

Seriously I feed up with their service it's very much slower in serving the food I waited more than 40 minutes to get my food which I ordered, but I'm convinced with the food taste.

Fish Curry Rice Mangalore Style Restaurant, Kushalnagar

This is a restaurant situated on the Kushalnagar Madikeri Highway near Kushalnagar towards Madikeri. It is not in Kushalnagar town although one can see their advertisements all along on the highway.

It is located in Madapatna Village, Gudde Hosur, Kushalnagar.

Their speciality as the name suggests is Fish Curry and Rice prepared in Mangalore Style.

Although they say that they serve Fish curry and rice there is no standard Thali. One need to order the fish variety separately with the rice and one is charged on the basis of the type of fish ordered.

The portions of the fish served are very small and the rates are very high. The food is reasonably ok.

They have limited parking space outside the restaurant and in their compound. They have adequate seating arrangement and the place is reasonably clean.

If one is interested in trying fish menus one can visit this place.

This restaurant boasts of excellent Mangalorean cuisine. We ordered chicken ghee roast, prawns ghee roast, butter garlic prawns, neer dosa, chicken biryani, roti and egg chili. Butter garlic prawns was well prepared and went well with roti and ghee rice. Biryani was average and can be avoided. The ghee roast was very tasty and the spice did not over power the taste. The service was also quick. Overall worth a visit.

I guess, regardless of what food you order it turns out to be delicious. A typical mangalore style cuisine. Well mannered service staff too.

Third class hotel ever visited, service response too late made to wait more than 20 mins to serve 1 dish, cant manage the more than 10 people.
