Flycatcher Adventures and Resorts Dandeli

Flycatcher has everything that you look forward in a vacation. You can do Rafting, Kayaking, Boating, Trek, Raindance or simply just sit by campfire. My friends and I were treated with respect and taken care of to the T. I shall suggest this place to anyone that wants a jungle-esque stay with tons of activities to choose from.

If you have not experienced water rafting then you have not experienced Anything in Dandeli.

Pros:

2. Staff is very co-operative and helpful.

4. Trekking experience was very good

Cons:
1. Hot water supply was disruptive.
2. No swimming pool
3. It will be good if add rain water dance
4. DJ quality was not good

They are best to go for Water Sports here.

Not that much good compared to the city resorts but for those who love to stay in the jungle then you can go for it.

The room was clean. Staffs were polite. Nowadays, it is really difficult to find people in service industry who even look at your face and talk. But, not just the manager, I found everyone working there to be polite and responsive.

A few game tools looked very old and damaged. I think if they replace them, it would be great. Buffet food was really and I really enjoyed all the food varieties they provided. Taste was perfect. But, ala carte food items which we tried was not as good as the buffet and the waiting time was really high. It could be better if they put a notice regarding the waiting time to set the expectations right.

If we purchase games with the resort package, it is a bit lesser than directly purchasing from Laguna water sports. I recommend purchasing from Fly catchers. The package costs around 2400 (5.5 km rafting package) for all activities. I have only compared Fly catchers and Laguna's water activities price.

I had a nice experience with trekking. For people who have never done trekking before, it is a good start and you will get to know what it is like to trek. Trekking guide was really patient, helpful and super cool.

We didn't stay there but we went for Rafting with them. The guide was friendly and good at his job. Rafting is the best you can get in Dandeli. Don't miss it at any cost.

We had my daughter birthday function fly Catcher's Adventures. Food quantity, quality and tastes were awesome. I would definitely love to visit this place again.

The hotel is very shabby, there is no proper response by any of the staffs, pls don't go to the hotel if you are hungry and in hurry. Very late delivery of food, they are only servicing ppl who will book rafting and playing games near by, think before you visit

You can get multiple options of package which includes stay + Food + Activities (Water games, Rafting, Boating etc)

Game area not maintained well, carrom boards, TT, basketball bad condition. Rooms need to be repainted, mattresses have become very hard and have lost the cushioning.

Wifi is available only near gaming area and not available in the rooms.

Food was good. We won't get 24 hrs hot water in tents. They have charged same for room and rent. This is we felt very bad. Otherwise ok. We have enjoyed. Staff also good.

Woahh it was an amazing place and we booked river rafting, zip line, zorbing and kayaking if you like water sports don't miss this amazing opportunity to make great memories with your loved ones. Food was amazing and washrooms were also clean and hygienic.

Very nice place for chill out. You can enjoy a lot in this place. Almost all the water adventures are avilable here. If you are not a water scarry then you will definately enjoy.

All tha staffs are very friendly. One more best thing is, no mobile network is avilable. You can enjoy your holiday very peacefully.

We went tries here but not felt boaring. This is incuding rever rafting, that is very nice among all the games.

Escape from city pollution and step in to different World. This place is calm, pleasent and is filled with trees all around.

We went with a gang of 12 ppl, pre-booked our accomodation over phone.

Thay charged us 1600 per head which includes accomodation, buffet breakfast, buffet lunch and buffet dinner and early morning trek to back waters and also evening campfire with nice DJ

Food is decent enough not so spicy not so bland, serves the purpose.

Staff is super friendly and guides you with places around to visit and activities to be done.

These guys got their own team for river rafting, kayayikng, zip-lining, zacuzzi and other adventure activities. Very professional and friendly team.

I dont no from where to start writing, after receiving payment, they tell only one word "NO" No Buffet.no water.if 5 minutes is late for wakeup they will tell trekking time already gone you need to book for tomorrow.i dont have a time to write review.so many things are there to tell

Pros -
Good place to visit.
Hospitality was at the next level.staff was humble and friendly.resort is safe enough for families.
Food is good, but can be improved in taste.

Activities- Boating, swimming, jacuzzi bath were good as basic package.
Tecking was outstanding which was included in the package.

Cons-
From ganesh gudi to dandeli, transportation was not convenient.
More safety and guidance was required for river rafting.
Many games were idle as there were no staff to monitor.
Management could work on breakfast timing and quick serving of food.

Overall it was worth visiting Fly catcher resort.

Dandeli can be a lifetime experience. Thanks to the flycatcher adventure team. Well organised water sports, with safety. The trainer's or guides are experienced. A bit of costly but worth every penny. River rafting, zakuzi Bath, kayaking, boating, baloon walk. & so on. Super liked.

Good place, neat and clean, good tasty buffet, polite and courteous staff. Excellent experience. Recommend this place for water sports & long rafting.

Staff are pleasant and well behaved, but not trained well/competent enough on basic safety aspects (perhaps driven by the desire to make a quick buck) like weight distribution in the raft, minimum number of people required, etc. As a consequence, my raft overturned upon entering the rapids causing a near life-threatening experience which I had not bargained for! Lucky to survive with minor bruises in the lower limbs and a severe knee injury which I continue to fight over a month after the mishap.

Everything is excellent here. I am satisfied with the services.

However I am giving one star only because of lack of professionalism with the staff. It was a big let down for me.

I was told over call that the standard rates are 2000/- per person for tent stay and 2500/- per person for cottage stay. I asked for a discount and he told its fixed for everyone. I accepted and made the booking. After reaching there I came to know from fellow travellers that cottage stay costs 2000/- per person only.

I was very disappointed and asked them about it and they started giving weird reasons. Very unprofessional talk. Finally they agreed for 2000/- per person.

Such things spoil our whole experience.

If you plan to stay here negotiate properly. Else thay will loot you. Very greedy people. I would have given 5 stars had they tried not to cheat me.

If anyone from the management is reading this, put your room tarriff/ package tarriff in the reception itself like how you kept the rates for buffet's. Try being transparent and honest.

The resort is good enough to take a break during your adventure trip. The accommodation is decent for a regular stay. Bed and rooms are neat. Restroom are clean. Hot water is available within 30 mins on request at any time of the day. The resort has a restaurant serves both veg and non-veg, I am not a big fan of Karnataka food but here they put all the effort to ensure the food is of good taste. The menu may be with limited options. Both buffet and a la carte available. The resort has its own private area on the river where you can take up activities such as rafting, boating, kaya king, swimming, natural Jacuzzi so on and so forth. You may get a good deal if you book as a package. Cycling for nearby sight seeing, trekking and other activities also good. The resort has indoor games such as carrom and table tennis. Ideal for group of friends. Women will feel comfortable as well, I could see the resort safe and secure with groups consisting of both boys and girls. The accommodation has tents as well if you are a fan of staying in tent type rooms. Changing rooms also available as mostly the activities are water sports.
