Freedom Cafe Gokarn

Worst experience a person can have, never ever visit this cafe, awful service and staff and special mention to that lady host who just doesn't know how to talk.
Food is expensive and you have to wait atleast 2 hours for the food you ordered.
Nobody picks the call, no water in the morning at all.
Apart from that beach in front of it everything was just meaningless.
At last people who wanna visit this cafe please checkout the 1 star reviews for it.
I won't even recommend this place to my worst enemies.
Just pathetic.
Would love to know what that lady owner has to say about it.

Worst ever experience.
I and my cousins stayed for a night. The washrooms were not clean. The room we got was not clean. The floor was not swept, the fans were covered with spider webs, lizards in washroom.
On top of that, the lady owner of the cafe has no sense of speaking. She just disrespects everyone. Such a bad spoken woman. Humiliates everyone with the over acting for no reason. She dint care of what people would think of her for such behavior. We were feeling ashamed of how a person can behave. It was rely like watching a underrated drama.
We realized at the end that the show was just for grabbing money. She would not listen to anyone and would just behave like a women with no self respect. At the end we ended up paying 1500 extra for a night.
I just hope god gives her some manners.

Waste Of Money Honestly Don't Waste your Time And Money To having in This Fucikng Place

Cafe is near gokarna main beach. Service was quick. Food was good. Pizza that we tried here was yummy. Ambience was quite & good.

If it were possible, I would rate the owner and manager with zero stars due to their extreme rudeness.

Not at all recommended.

The food is average at best. The owner on the other hand is extremely rude and impolite. I have never experienced more disrespectful behaviour at a cafe before. They treat customers the worst. Avoid for your own good.

The worst cafe in Gokarna is Freedom cafe.
The owner lady she doesn't know how to speak with guest and her intention is to grab money from guest in one or the other way, Low service there is no proper water supply in the morning, for water we called 15 times but none of them picked the call, that lady speaks very rude, I request you all please don't visit this cafe, instead you can visit sunset cafe beside to this cafe

V disappointed. The worst cafe I ever visited had no clean rooms no water in the morning no bed sheets in the room not even the fan was working. And the owner doesn't even know how to speak with a guest. V bad cafa.

Compared to other cafes on the beach, their menu was somewhat different. Veg dishes tasted good. The host Kavya, understood good preferences and suggested dishes you would like. A must go.

I was in Gokarna for almost a week and I stayed here for only 1 night. Everything was amazing. Specially the food. Do not miss out on Margarita pizza and they offer amazing mocktails as well. Homely feeling during the stay. The couple is really friendly. They also have a lot of cute puppies adopted. Loved the cheese balls also.
Be aware of mosquitoes and lizards. Might need proper treatment for insects and reptiles.

One of the few places by the beach where the food is great. Service is nice. A great place to vibe n chill by the beach. Food suggestions would be continental, they make that good. And the pizza was fantastic.
The only downside is that the service is slow.

We tried two of their daily catches, both fish were amazing. Service as well. Nothing to complain about

Great restaurant where the service is exceptional and the owner talks through every dish and what specialities are available. Sometimes the fish caught on the same day is being served! You can also have unique dishes which are not on the menu. Definitely a must try.

The stay is less than decent, and the host is not cooperative to sort out any misunderstanding, came here on recommendation but highly recommend no one to stay here, only food was good

The best hosting I have ever seen. Kavya and Ganesh are the host everyone would wish for and the food is a chef's kiss The tents and surroundings are hygienic too Overall a very good place and ambiance

The most friendliest and courteous hosts. We had a breakfast here and definitely the best one we had. Kavya took care of all our needs and her husband ganesh was equally well supporting. The interiors were by far the best we had seen in the whole of gokarna. In the day it has its charm, by sunset it glows golden, and by the night it shines beautifully. We did not stay here (our loss), but we spent the whole day here. Right from breakfast to the sunset. There were cute little puppies and we enjoyed their company as well. Overall had an amazing day at the cafe. Its not listed much on internet, but i suggest do have a meal there and you wont regret for even a minute. They also have vegan options.

Stumbled upon this cafe while our beach stroll one evening during our stay here in Gokarna. Great hosts and really authentic local food served here. My husband and I have had all our meals here for almost our entire trip. Ganesh and Kavya are very helpful hosts. Highly recommend their sea food, pizza and burgers.

The worst maintenance and the host is least in manners. They just come on to you as if they wanna fight with you. With a host like this it’s impossible to stay, even after having a good place to spend your time. I would recommend not to visit this until the host changes.

My experience staying at freedom cafe this season couldn’t get any better. My day started off at 7 in the morning, waking up, 10 steps away from the sea shore was something that I hadn’t experienced. The food, the MOST AMAZING HOSPITALITY, and the ambience, was a 11/10. Kavya and ganesh were soooo good, they helped us so much, they served us really well, and we has a great time w them,
Their pet dogs, gunda, pepper brownie, were really friendly and completed my trip.
