Nice food. Very expensive. Lassi was awesome. I tried kulcha and cheese malai chaap. They serve non veg and veg dishes.

Best place for authentic punjabi flavours. Whenever we miss home, we go there and have amritsari kulcha, tandoori chicken.

One of the best butter chicken thick texture perfectly cooked chicken just brilliant will be my go to place as it's near to my place loved it

Need to improve. Not so tasty and ambience is bad. Dinner hall is attached to kitchen and no proper exhaust is happening, all the smoke comes out and causes eyes burn and head ache.

They serve one of the best tasting food. Specialize in Chola Kulcha and also lassi. That's my favourite too. Parking is a problem here because the place is on main road and they don't have a dedicated parking space. No wheel chair accessible entrance. The place is a must go if you like the taste of Punjabi food.

Order in 10 mins and keep going. They are pretty fast

Funky Punjab offers some lipsmacking chicken malai tikka tossed in butter with a pinch of kali mirch to enhance its taste.

The chicken pieces were so tender that it just melts in my mouth and had a great balance of spices in it.

Looking for a place to have a tandoori chicken starter with Punjabi tadka in it, then go nowhere else as @funky.punjab comes to your rescue. Highly recommended from my side

Food tastes average. Not bad. But the pricing is good which is a plus point. Ambience is the big let down.
You can come and enjoy but don't keep high expectations

U will get Ur food after 2hr pls don't go to this restaurant. If u have lot and lot of time to spend then this is right place for you

It used to be a good place to have vegetarian Punjabi food.
Now its just run-of-the-mill kind of places.
Still the combos are pocket friendly and worth trying.

Their Amritsari Kulchas are just amazing. Just drool in to butter topped authentic Kulchas. No where in Bangalore can match this authentic taste.

2 stars for the person at the counter (sardar ji) whose attitude was very cold. Else. 4.5 for food.
I guess sardar ji will improve their attitude with their customers. U can imagine Me being from Punjab still i ddn like his attitude, otherwise punjabis have a very warm and welcoming attitude.

The go-to place for Amritsari kulcha and Soya Chaap. I was reminded of amazing kulchas I had in Amritsar and Delhi. Crispy kulchas with mouth watering chole and chutney. If u are in Bangalore and miss Punjabi food, then this is the place to go-to. Recommended

It is opposite of his name, in 4-5 yrs only 2 times i tried funky Punjab foods with my friend or I can say because of my friend I went there, it doesn't impress me with their taste and service.
Worst thing is no waiter, suppose you are eating, you or your friends need more roti ya other foods item, then leave your table or place, wash your hand, go to the counter, take the receipt, give receipt to the chef, staff, wait there for your food, if you order more than 1-2 item again then think yourself how much time it will take, how many times you have to see the kitchen window, seeing others people foods on the kitchen window from your table, thinking many time when my food will come.due to this I don't go there, I stay nearby.

Most loveable punjabi hotel in the area. If u love punjabi food try once. Worth visiting for full satisfaction.

Paneer kulcha and chole bhature was awesome. It was first Punjabi restarunt I had gone in bangalore where I actually got north taste. Otherwise mostly others don't have any punjab like taste or feel. They just name it. Also the prices of this place is really good. It's open place so you will have fun eating there In night however in daytime it will be hot.

I have been to Funky Punjab five times and have never been disappointed. The essence of Amritsari food in Bangalore, with a dash of atmosphere from the food-streets of Northern India!

The setup helps you transit to the’pinds’ of Amrtisar with the rustic graffiti on the walls, colorful props, ’whiskey and foodie’ quotes and heavy steel cutlery!

The service is average they have self service only due to shortage of Waiters, the place is always full during weekends. The food is good Punjabi fare with the right spice and heat levels.

The quirky food names will definitely catch your attention! Indian breads were quite good and lassi was mouth watering. Ahh, how can I forget about the thick and delicious raita:) This restaurant deserves one visit. Happy dining!

If u want to eat Amritsari Special stuff tandoori kulcha. Then this place is fantastic. All the cooks are hails from Amritsar. So the style of cooking & presentation is top of the world. They sprinkle Kasoori methi on to the kulcha. Please go for it. Funky Punjab restaurant team I would say Balle-2 Tusi chaa gye paji.

The kulchas served here are the best. It's just close to authentic kulchas. They serve varieties of kulchas out of which aloo and mix kulchas I loved the most. Not a happening place. The place is just decent. But the food is awesome. This rating is just for taste of the food.

Amritsari Kulcha: Had a chance to taste this fantastic kulcha. The layers and stuffed Aloo inside the kulcha is the real magic. Desi Butter on top enhances the flavour. This stuffed kulcha could be one of the best in Bengaluru. The low tinge of Ajwain to the fantastic tandoor tossed Kulcha is a must try here. The authenticity lies in our city.

Soya Chap: I was really tired of Panner. To my surprise this Soya Chap turned out to be fantastic. Soya chunks were marinated with spices and thick yoghurt. The proportion of spice balance with Soya was perfectly balanced. This is again a must try here.

Sweet Lassi: Stored and refrigerated. Sweet Lassi who was humble and thick.

If you are looking for some authentic Pind Da Khana, this is one of the place.

Down to earth, authentic dhaba food and very reasonably priced. We have visited them twice and the food has been yummy and amazing. I have peeped into their open kitchen, they use quality stuff, can be little more cleaner but food is served fresh and hygeinic. Plan to be a regular. And yes their lassi is among the best I have had outside Punjab in years.

Food is good sometime and sometime it is ok ok. As a vegetarian, I do not have any good north indian option in JP Nagar 5th phase. I am ok with Funky Punjab.

Terrible experience. Taste was below average. We couldn't complete most of the food we ordered. Very poor attitude. Especially the guy who was handling billing was completely arrogant. I strongly recommend against this place. Sagars and Darshinis are any day better.

Excellent food. Very home like taste. And the person at the counter in the evenings is extremely warm and cheerful. Great customer service (way better than any of the 3 star or 5 star restaurants i've been to). I'd got my colleagues for lunch here too and they loved it. They will get their friends for sure.
