Felt so bad to see creepy couple all around the park, plzz don't let couples to enter the park

It's good but now all kids playing items are under repair, so now not bring ur kids,
Entry ticket is 10 RS per head
Train, and Jumping air toy are there but all extra paying item

Had lot of expectations going by reviews, totally disappointed Park maintenance is very bad. Although there is 10 Rs entry fee, it's not worth at all. Toy train raid is available for 30 Rs. Aquarium is 5 Rs entry, worth it.

Very greenery place. We can get positive vibes, pleasant heartfelt from here

You can go with your family with food and stay there a whole day.

No good maintenance, ho hygeine, no cleanliness. Plants look like they haven't been watered for days. They are charging 10 for people and 50 for a cake.

Yeah, quite good for birthday celebrations and not recommended for lover's friends with a group can hv some fun

Recently I visited park but not bad & not too good it's ok.because not maintain cleaning and maintenance

One of most wonderful place in shivamogga for all age peoples to time spend in evening and weekends. And running and jogging in morning. Lovers favorite place. Nice maintenance of garden

Nice place but maintenance of garden is not up to the mark. Children playing items are broken. Fish aquarium is good to see, variety of fish are kept.

Gandhi park is literally famous in Shivamogga. It is the only biggest & oldest park in Shivamogga where you  can spend few hours with your kids. It is one among the places to visit in Shivamogga. It is attracting people after its renovation few years back. Gandhi park Shivamogga has become like a home for the children in Shivamogga. They love to play around in the park. Park is well maintained after its renovation.

Mahatma Gandhi park is mostly visited by the local people. Well if you are staying in Shimoga for few more days, Gandhi park is one of the places to visit.

It's in the center of the city and it's a major landmark of shivamogga, it's good to see many old trees, in the center of the park a statue of Mahatma Gandhi is installed under the beautiful shelter, there's a horticulture office at the one of the entrance gate any information about this Park we can contact them, we can also buy saplings from them for our personal garden.

Awesome work by yadiyurappa at his time, but the place is not really well maintained almost all street/pathway lights are rusted

Nice place to relax but improvement and neatness is required anyhow whqt i saw the park in 2000 thats amazing like with beautiful birds and animals but now everything is artificial.

Park is good. Aquarium has very less fish. Pond is not clean. Children's play area is not good.slide are broken but the train raid is good.

During school you can see some college people romancing here and there, watch out if you are with kids

Total natural environment, sophisticated sanitation and cleanliness, varieties and famous for its tranquility.people come here to make their life filled with natural tranquility that sometimes disturbed by sweet singing of a cuckoo or other birds.
Really a heaven of the city. I don't make stop to appreciate the beauty of the park and its well maintenance.

Maintainance Is Good. But Few Peoples using this places badly by doing some other activities. Public Need To Take Care About This

I really loved this park, hope even we had such park in our town.
I visited as a traveller to this park.
Very big are to play, celebrate and enjoy.
Ppl do functions here.
Big children area park.
A train for entertainment.
Swimming pool.
We snacks also to eat and enjoy the breeze.
Reason for giving 4 star is children play are is worst maintained.
And it's risky for children to play. Hope management will replace the whole set up.

Nice place, but maintenance is not at all good. Proper weed control measure is not taken in the park. Too much of plastic wastage polluted the park environment.

The maintenance of this park is one of the worst I have ever seen that too this is being one of the the biggest park in Shimoga. Please take a look at the pictures I have uploaded along with this review to judge how kids play are looks like.

Place to chill in the oldest and biggest park in center of shimoga city. Nowadays it's free. Means no entry fee. Allowed for all the ages.people like to come for early morning walk and evening walk n talk.

Huge Park!

This is most probably the biggest park in Shimoga.

Ample parking space is available near and around the park.

Entry ticket cost is 10/-.

There is a big track for walking/jogging.
Big play area for kids.
There is a toy train which takes a big round of the whole park (20/-) per person including kids.
Few more small games.

Maintenance can be improved though.

Worth a visit for families with kids.

Good place to go for outing with kids, but all the toys for kids are broken and its hazardous to let kids try play there. And the timings of Toy train trips are not mentioned anywhere in its station.

It's a Park in the center of the city. This had Park got many changes over a period of time. Its good yo hang out here. Its great lung space. Now there is an entry fee here. But its worth it. More maintenance can be brought here to make a better place. One thing is hygienic and more public toilets can be added here and play area for children can improved and people who bring their kids must also keep this place ina good shape.

It's been corrupted by people and cleanliness is out of question. No security to guard the monuments inside. Most of the walking path and mini bridges are broken

Most of shimoga peoples are visiting daily to relax and to play with thier kids here only. Large area with proper maintenance and hygiene! Good types of plants! And low cost entry fee! Most of the different college love birds are also seen! Here! Very nice place to relax!
