This is a feedback regarding the GRADENIA FEST we attended …
We must say it was a very bad experience we had to go through…
And this is about the VIZ FRAMES event!
We did follow all the rule regulations of the event.and to be frank all the frames were shot by us and took hours of editing.and the one who took photos from chrome and put a voice over was awarded… to be truthful they did not follow any rules of the event
1) time limit
2) plagiarism
We had to travel 2 hours just for this…
And I must say.we did complain to the coordinators still no action was taken!

Not getting refund the money when ur going cancellation the admission.
I passed 12 th in 2023 by the friend Sujjestion I went to campus to see it. It may look good. I took admission by listening the admission team words.
After two day s I started enquiry about this university by student and social media platform. After seeing review and listen word's of the student s studied here I decided that not to join in this university better to join other university or college.
And finally I called to admission team of garden City university to cancellation of my admission they said there no chance to cancellation u mayy cancellation also u can't get ur money refund.
The team of gcu to know that it is SUPERIMCOURT rule is if student not able to study ur clg or university by any resons u may CANCEL admission by by cuting 1000 rs in admission fee remains going to refundable it's GOVERNMENT RULES.
Without knowing this kind of rules and regulations how u will run ur university that to private

Tried to get admission information and the lady answers phone at admission section speaks rudely and absolutely disappointed.

BEWARE: TOTALLY disorganized college (This should be a 1 star review).
1. Teachers and Staff DO NOT KNOW anything about "Time-table" or "Exam Schedule". They will NEVER stick to "Course Calendar". Be warned Exams are notified ONLY 1 day in advance (in spite of constant requests "begging" the staff for earlier notification).
2. For current internal exams, notifications were given on whatsapp on Saturday evening for Monday morning exam.
3. They will bomb you up with assignments, presentations and internal exams all at once, because there is no planning involved. If they planned this would never happen to poor students.
4. Because of this you will NEVER be able to PLAN, PREPARE, STUDY (OR) TAKE LEAVE to meet the family members.

As a student of Garden City University, for the past 3 years, I had a great opportunity to participate in all the events that took place. Every year theres an annual fest called gardenia, with lot of programmes and activities. And i have to also mention the surrounding is beautiful and peace. All the facilities are really supportive and cleared all the doubts. Lecture and practical classes is interesting and unique.i had lot of memories at the green house sitting with friends during lunch break.

I'm really grateful for all my mentors and faculties for all their support and guidance.

As a proud Gardenian, I thank my university for every privilege I received throughout my study tenure.
From the beautiful campus to the supportive management, I extend my gratitude to all.

I will alway be grateful for the international study program which provided me an opportunity to travel and study in France. The management training program brought out the leadership quality in me.
Internship and placements were very helpful to bridge the gap between academic and industry field which was provided by GCU.

Indeed I will always be thankful for every opportunity I gained and to everyone who supported and guided me thusfar.

This University is Growing to the World Level with proper planning and Good Goverance under the Visionary Leadership of Dr. V G Joseph, Hon'ble Chancellor and proper timely Guidance both Academically and Administratively by Prof. GR Naik, Hon'ble Vice Chancellor. The top management including qualified Faculty are working on a Strategic Vision Plan - 2030 keeping in mind the New Education Policy 2020. Main emphasis is on Research activities in Science, Technology and Management, Internationalization having MoUs with top Research Oriented Institutions and providing industry/employment oriented Programs. A very good HR Deptt.looking after properly the Needs of Faculty and Staff. Well cultured Faculty, Staff and Students.

Just check if I had stated anything that is factually incorrect. Nothing is irrelevant here.

What is irrelevant is your reply, which is a quintessential ad hominem attack by a social media slave who has always been loyal to his/her awful master (metaphorical).
And you don't have any idea about the meaning of the word 'grievance'. Refer to a good dictionary.

I never implied that your institution is pathetic as it doesn't have NIRF ranking. I was asking the students to find good educational institutions using NIRF.
I think you enjoy tarnishing the image of people than giving a reply that makes sense. How about the copied web content and grammatical errors on your website?
What about course details?

If yours is that great, why do you need plagerised content.
I didn't know that the University of Washington is your parent institution.

It's a funny place to be in.it's a land of gimmicks. I just had a glance over the course details offered by one of the departments and I found that the content used on their website is plagerised from that of the University of Washington. Nothing is original there. The chairman himself recruits the faculty members without assessing their subject matter expertise or teaching skills.
Dear students.
There are good universities and colleges in India. Check the National Institutional Ranking Framework and decide where to study.
Check the course description of BA Journalism.plenty of grammatical errors. How can you expect them to teach you editing. The detailed course structure is not given anywhere on the website. All the good universities and institutions do publish their course structure and details on their websites. It's a 28 year old money making Machine which mocks at you. Want quality, try finding it somewhere else!

What makes it funny. There are many.

I have seen academics who talk about their academic achievements. I have never seen people in an academic environment brag about becoming the Ladies Club Secretary in her residential group of apartments. Check the profile of your faculty members.

I personally experienced satisfactory response given by the various official of the Garden City University with reference to the academic matters. I highly recommend the University.

My college, where i spent my late teens
I studied fashion and apparel design in GCU
When you first join you will be enthralled by the campus, just like the name, garden city, filled with Bougainville flowers bushes and trees, before the classes resume there would be a ten day orientation program where they try to understand the freshers and the students can participate in various activities and programs, i felt ten days was a bit long, coming to the last days orientation we all felt bored. Two years went quite well but coming to the third most of our favourite teachers resigned due to which i was lagging in a few subjects and wasn't that interested to come to college, summing it up you would have all the facilities that a student need within the campus, be it mess, food court, juice shop, printout shops.

I will not suggest this college to anyone. Very money minded and focuses on entertainment only. Infrastructure is good but quality of education is not upto the mark. Better look for other colleges.

Never suggested, but their food is the best (hostel and canteen). It's only and fully money minded. They will never help you with anything in your life other that taking your money and brains away. I studied in university and that certificate is also not worth the cost I spent. They offered me scholarships and I didnt get reduction of a penny, and when mailed about it they said you will get it in the final semester and cheated me. They will never respond to your mails if your souly your need and if there is no much benefit for the university. I still wonder how students come to this place. Reading the reply from the university for these reviews make me laugh.they do arrange students loans and I dont know how far that will benefit you.the first few weeks in the college was nice. The teachers keep on changing and you will have no clue on who is gona take your next class. But the hostel and the facilities they provided were very nice. At times I feel super bad for the man who invest so much on this University, as the staffs and their systems are not in track and nobody will recommend this uni to anybody else.

I was first curious about this college but then while submitting application only they are charging 2000 bucks.like seriously! Business minded college! Better on focusing to provide quality education to their students they are behind money. Better not joining

The university is a beautifull place to study and consists of a very isolated environment to bring best out of yourself, the seniors are very generous and even the teachers are selfless everyone helps in the best possible way to make you comfortable.

Garden city, in the name itself there is peace. Campus atmosphere is really great. You can see students from various countries. There will be many extra curricular activities taking place.

I had a wonderful three weeks in this university. I had a lot of fun in participating in the events that I was interested in and had a lot of fun with my friends as well, the staff, the management, the the teachers are great.

Worst management I have ever seen into reception area, the head person named as Ajay was not allowing to wait as my sister was giving exam, as he asked me to leave in a rude manner. Really management here I cant understand. Instead he must have asked to wait to different area than to leave campus.

Gardencity University provides a lot of exposure and resources in academics and co-curricular activities. I am proud to be a part of this University. Excellent infrastructure and facilities. Zero ragging University.

Today is the day I can’t just keep quite. It is a good College because that’s what they like to show you.and write about the canteen, the campus and stuff but behind all these there are students who are suffering and regretting the day they stepped inside this college. Let me tell u, there are lots of students from different parts of India and even world who have participated in so called ‘graduation functions’ but still have not graduated. They are trying hard, atleast most of them are. Every year they pay for their examination fees, prepare for the exams and what happens is ‘mistakes’ from the management, registration office, the college, Bangalore university. Sometimes they forget to enrol you for the subject you payed for and sometimes they just make you write the subject you have already passed. Like today what happened with my friend. He payed for his exams for this year (backs) long back and when he went to get the hall ticket. They are telling him to pay 20000 rupees fine which they never mentioned before. And when he is telling them that he cleared all his dues. They are like ‘yeah, you did but this is the fine’. You gotta pay if u want to write the exams. My question is if you knew there was a fine, why did u accept all the money he payed for exams in the first place. Every year trying to clear the papers thinking you will make it this time.is not easy.but sadly this is the education system we are having. Sadly we don’t care about how many years that student has already wasted but all you care about is Money and your fines.this is one of many problems I have shared today.there are many people who are going through same thing or even worst. Where is education? I see only greed

Dr Sudhakar is a very unprofessional educator he should nit head the faculty. He is very partial in his way of dealing and is a racist very baised towrds localand north india people

My visit to Garden City University proved to be exciting during their annual Gardenia Festival which had hosted the famous Sunburn Music show. The inside of the campus is well kept and once you enter the place it is absolutely free of pollution and clean and serene. A good place to study with extremely good ambience. Great going ahead.

Four of my close relatives have completed their studies from here and are well placed in blue chip companies in India and abroad. Best wishes to Garden City University!

Garden City University gives you the resources for both academic excellence and a great social life. The people I have meet here and the experiences I have made will stay with me for the rest of my life, and getting involved in the Garden City University community is definitely changing my life for the better.

With an array of courses ranging from classical to new aged programmes, the university has created a name for itself as time went by. Being an alumnus and an employee of the university, GCU has given me much more than expected. It gives one the freedom of expression, expression of thoughts and ideas. My stint in Garden City University has given me insights into the thought process of the founders and the administration. Yes, there is a beautiful campus yes there are classy facilities, yes there are competent faculties. I had the previlige to study graduation and post graduation at different universities in Karnataka.pursuing PhD at Garden City University by far has been the best academic and Research Experience and the exposure that I get here is overwhelming, kudos to Garden City university

Very beautiful campus, beautifully designed buildings. Well maintained garden. No noise pollution. No air pollution. Very good food in the cafeteria. Big cafeteria with large dining table. Nice washrooms. Cafeteria has a dedicated stall for fast foods, snacks, deserts, and main courses. Serve time is a little slow but great food.
