Such a great place to stay, it has got 360 degree mountain view, Mr. Umesh is so humble and kind. Rooms were well maintained and food was amazing, loved the food here both veg and non veg.
Also there is a off road drive to reach the homestay which is of a great experience.
Will definitely recommend the stay.

Homestay is very nice and beautiful to see the mountain views. Umesh help us lot in many ways. Special thanks to Umesh. Food is very tasty both nonveg and veg. Special mention for that turmeric rice while we trekking to NETHRAVATI and reaching the top of the NETHRAVATI PEAK and taste that food feels like a most fabulous food in the world. Thanks for that too Umesh.

I had visited this place two years ago. Mr Umesh had helped us in planning the Kudremukha trek. We had a wonderful time and host Umesh is very kind and courteous. Excellent food and had a pleasant stay. Overall very good experience.

1 kilometer of jeep track to reach this place. So had to leave the car on the main road and hike up to this place. Totally worth it because the view is brilliant here. The rooms were maintained well. The hosts are absolutely wonderful people. The food was great. What else do you want? Loved everything about the stay here. I would recommend talking to Umesh. He will help you plan your stay and get the best out of your trip.
P. S. Please be quiet and enjoy the calm here and please don't litter the place.

We stayed in Girimane homestay for 2nights.
Accommodation: Excellent. Tent & cottages are available with a view to die for. Very clean bathrooms & living area.
Food: Very good. Simple & tasty home cooked food is provided. Packed lunch is provided for trekkers.
Accessibility: You can drive all the way up with a 4wd, else you will be picked & dropped by a jeep.
Trek arrangements: Forest pass & transportation is organized upto the trek starting point & back making your trek experience hassle-free.
Mr Umesh who runs the homestay is an excellent host, I highly recommend Girimane homestay to both trekkers & families looking for a relaxing holiday.

A must visit stay if you are looking in Kudremukh with a reasonable stay charges. The hospitality and cleanliness is at its best. Great food too.

A Gorgeous Location cutoff from the busy citylife, almost at the peak of a mountain range, driven through a beautiful road along Coffee estates. The small cottage with twin rooms is perfect for a quiet family outing, overlooking the kudremukh range. We were hosted extremely well by the owner Suresh and his family, served with some authentic Malnad food. Everything about the place is value for money, only catch is reaching the place. A regular vehicle would stop 2 kms before his cottage, as the road is very uphill, you need to call Suresh in advance and ask him to send his cousin's JEEP to pick you up (which would be chargeable) But hospitality is guaranteed by this modest family in the most genuine ways:)

Awesome home stay like it's name Girimane it is surrounded by hills and outside hills top view will make ppl spellbound. Great service, food n hospitality. Next to Girimane homestay there's a Bavikonda Trekking which is another great place to visit. Mainly 24hrs hot water shower in Girimane is highly appreciated. After trekking, ppl can take hot water shower and sit out side n relax with a cup of Tea.

The location of the homestay is just mind-blowing.the view of the mountains will make u go spell bound.d food was also good.will definitely recommend u this homestay for kudremukha or bavikonda trek!

View point from this stay is awesome, it's near to Bavikonda kalchiki treak place, Umesh helped us to reach somavathi water falls, rooms were good, food is good, night time campfire it's totally nice experience.
Best part here will be view from home stay.

Worth choosing this homestay when you visit kudremukh!

Girimane homestay is one of the most beautiful homestays I've stayed in. Great location, beautiful views. The owner, Umesh, is really helpful and got us whatever we wanted. He also doubled up as our trek guide. The home-cooked food was very tasty.

Tip: Request Umesh for neer dosa in breakfast if it is available

I visited girimane homestay with my friends. We all had a pleasant stay there and it has an amazing view of kudremukha range, especially in the morning. There are two rooms, the one we stayed had three cots and can accomodate 6 people easily. Room and bathrooms are very well maintained. Hot water was available all the time. Food was very good and Umesh took good care of us. The only disadvantage I found is that the place is not accessible by car. One has to depend on the Jeep for a stretch of 2-3 kms, which Umesh will arrange for some extra charge (Definitely not a deal breaker). The place is worth staying and value for money.

Fantastic place! The road to reach this little gem of a homestay is an adventurous trail by itself. Umesh, the owner of this homestay, took so much effort - right from receiving us at the checkpost and serving us the delicious meals cooked by his wife and mother. The rooms are beautiful and clean. The view is astounding. Running hot water especially after our tiring trek to Kudremukh peak was the ultimate luxury. Highly recommended!
