Pros: Hospitable owner and staff. Verandah overlooking greenery.
Cons: I am not sure how Gitanjali Homestays justifies the price they charge.a. You can hear conversations in adjoining rooms. I went there expecting quiet and was very disappointed. I had to use noise cancelling headphones. I might have as well stayed at home. I had to retreat to the dining area for some quiet.b. The property is not as big as the pictures indicate. There are 4 rooms, a verandah overlooking greenery and a dining area.c. The room decor is very ordinary.d. Water is not very warm in the bathroom, even after allowing for half a bucket of water. Warm shower is a minimum requirement.e. Finally, for a property that charges 6k a night, simple fixable things were found lacking. Example, the main gate is difficult to open. Few of the chairs in the verandah are very uncomfortable. They are too low, they need new cushions.
They were aware that I was unhappy with the lack of quiet. A simple gesture such as waiving the charges for coffee (Rs. 157) could have been extended.
I will not recommend this place.

One of the best homestays in the state. Out stay just got better with the most heartwarming services that were offered. Definitely must visit.

We paid 6500 per 1 night with GST but not worth. Because room purpose only we can stay, otherwise there is no proper facility, there is no food facility, we ordered out side food. And they provide morning breakfast that is also not good.and we totally upset. In room there is No toothpaste and soaps. We have to carry these items. For my experience totally waste our time and money. In room there is no TV. Service is not good.

Fantastic time staying at the beautiful Gitanjali homestay. Yimuna and Arun made us feel very welcome. The food was the delicious. Highly recommended.

Our stay was just amazing. We had such a good time. It was like coming home and we are missing you already, dear Yamuna! The garden is very lovely - it's a place where you find peace und relaxation. The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. We loved your hospitality and also the food was just amazingly delicious. Thanks so much for this perfect stay!
