Best place to visit. Roads are not good. No place to change dress and all if u get wet in water

Very good place to visit during monsoon. The water falls view is breathtaking. Need to carry water and eatables as you hardly get anything there.

Two roads are there. One takes you to the left of the falls where the pics have been taken and one more towards the right. Either ways is worth visiting.

Serene place. There are two viewpoint (as per my experience). Go from the both front side and back. Don't miss the satisfying front view.

Godachinmalki Falls in Godachinamalaki village is a waterfall located on Markandeya river in Belgaum district, Gokak Taluk,  Karnataka,  India. It is 15 kilometers away from Gokak and 40 kilometers from Belgaum. It is located in a deep green valley.

Very nice water falls. You may have to walk 10 to 15 mins to reach the view point. The path is rocky and difficult to walk. Once you reach the view point, all your tiredness will, puff, vanishes.
Authorities to take initiative to develop this as tourist place

There are two entrance if you going through map it will take one entrance where you can see water fall from little far scene of falls full veiw parking fees 10 inr, another entrance which you can enter the falls by searching sign board which was provided by tourism Dept here you have to walk up to 500meters approx from car parking, fees 30 inr.

Nice waterfall near Belgaum. The road is not good, will take 1.5 hours to reach there from Belgaum. There are two view points. Point A) In one side of the river, you can see the main waterfall but can't have bath. You can take your car till that point. Point B) In the other side, you can have bath in the river just before the main waterfall. There are some steps and stones just before the waterfall and you can have jacuzzi bath there. You may have to walk little bit, can't take car till point B.

Awesome place to visit during rainy season. The main approach is closed due to lockdown at present. But one can reach the falls through alternate off road routes on foot.

Huge waterfall where tourists and regular residents visits for day picnics. Care must be excercised as water swell up and flow is high and volume is enormous. Water falls down upto to fifty metres. View is scenic and spot can get crowdy at times. No rails for protection so care should be priority.

Godachinmalki falls is one of the must visit places in Belgaum. Quite near from Gokak.

Place is very calm, visit in the morning hours. Water is clean as it is flowing water.
You can play and take bath. No much rush.
Road to falls is good, walk for half km from your parking area to falls.

It's good place for family, friends. Can visit for a day picnic.
View is excellent, water is cool. You can find local shops near parking for food and other accessories.

Godachinmalki falls, also known as Markandeya falls, is located in a rugged valley, which is approachable from Godachinamalaki village by walking as well as by vehicle through an irregular forest route for about 2 kilometers and there are two routes to reach the falls from Godachinamalki, one is vai Malebail road by crossing bridge at godachinamalki and another one is vai Gurusiddeshwar Temple (Hatti Siddeshwar). It can also be reached from Nirvaneshwara Matha near Yogikolla, only by foot.

Yep! No words for this beautiful place ️. Such a coolest place it was, best spot for photoshoot and to spend the weekend. Parking facility is available But it is 200m away from from the falls.

Tea coffee and snacks are available at parking lot we can carry out to the falls.

Visited today.water was less.however enjoyed a lot.one thing to notice is beware of local goons.they keep an eye on your personal belongings.so keep ur mobile, purse and personal belongings safe.

Things to be noted while travelling here:
1. Bring your own food.
2. Not advisable for oldies as the surfaces are full of algae (slippery).
3. Little remote.

3. Best place for photoshoot.

1. No eateries/restaurants around.
2. Around 2-3 kms away from the nearby village. Little isolated.

Great place for an excursion for a day. Mesmerizing waterfalls. Better go in morning or evening it gets very sunny during the day.

Best to go in rainy season, but it was still good in january. You should go to the other side of the river as opposed to the side shown by map.

Great place to visit with family n frnds, once u go behind the main falls u can get down into water n play as it is shallow der n safe.but the stones will be full of algae so be careful while crossing.

Beautiful spot for one day picnic with family. Children's can play games with their own stuffs. We can spend whole day and you get some greenery in Winter and rainy season. Gokak falls also a tourist place around 15Kms from Godachinmalki and Gokak is famous for "Kardantu". You people will really enjoy the day. Stay safe

I really liked this place. We parked our bike on the wrong side and we had to hike our way to the top crossing the river and climbing the rocks. It was an amazing and a very thrilling experience.

This beautiful cascading falls has enough water when I visited today. River is wide and peaceful and it covered small portions of the rocks into colorful falls. It gives you a fair idea of how big and wide the falls could be in the rainy season during the right time of the monsoons. It's also wonderful to feel the gigantic rocks that are withstanding intense heat on one side and persistent melting of the rocks by the river flow from ages of unknown time. Buses from Gokak will drop you at Godachinmalki village and from there it's 2.5 kms walk on a hot day through the green fields.

Beat place to be one with nature. Mind blowing.

Vehicle parking is very far from the destination. Need to walk more but it's worth after seeing the mesmerising waterfall.

Very very nice place. U can have lot of fun n play in some spots but at most places the water flow is very fierce so u can just stand n watch. Its beautiful place for one day trip

Godchinmalki, Gokak and Naviltheertha-
I hire a car for the day and start at 7.30 a.m. From Belgaum. After an hour and a half’s drive we reach a small town and Ghodhchinmalki falls are reached after a 2km trek along the Markendeya river, the way is slippery but no danger other than loss of dignity if you land in the muck. The river flows besides you as you move up on the rocks gathering girth and speed and falls in glorious cascades of white spray, an awesome sight. The view draws you magnetically closer to the exposed, stiff precipice; truly a beautiful spot to end one’s life.

But it is also very dangerous playing in water while raining should not do that polluting water

Very nice waterfalls. You can enjoy lot here but the rocks under the water are slippery so one should be carefull. Otherwise it's beautiful. Don't miss to eat Rama Very (kandamula a kind of root believing that Lord rama used to eat during vanavaas)

The place is very beautiful. Particularly in the beginning of monsoon. I visited the place in July. Wide water fall with just 6 ft height and 2 ft water level entice you to bath, play and peek from water curtain. Really a good photography material.

One of the best falls near Ghataprabha and gokak. Parking place is available for 2 and 4 wheelers there are few small hotels r available gvs nice Snaks in reginable rate

Godachinmalki falls, also known as Markandeya falls, is located in a rugged valley, which is approachable from Godachinamalaki village by walking as well as by vehicle through an irregular forestroute for about 2 kilometers and there are two routes to reach the falls from Godachinamalki, one is vai Malebail road by crossing bridge at godachinamalki and another one is vai Gurusiddeshwar Temple (Hatti Siddeshwar). To reach Godachinamalki Falls from Belgaum vai Ankalagi, Pachhapur & Mavanur, frequent bus facility is available from Belgaum & Gokak and nearest railway station is Pachhapur, which is about 8 kilometers and good train facility is available from Belgaum to Miraj, all most all trains stops in Pachhapur railway station.

There are actually two falls formed here. The Markandeya river takes a first fall from a height of about 25 metres and flows into a rocky valley. After a short distance from the rocky valley, it takes the second fall from a height of about 20 metres.

Within 10 km distance Gokak falls is located from Godachinamalki vai Melmanahatti & Maradimath.

Later Markandeya river joins Ghataprabha river near Gokak.

Within a 6 km radius there are two dams; one built across Ghataprabha river (Hidkal dam) and another one (Shirur Dam) across Markandeya river. The best time to visit these places is from June to September.
