Golden Landmark Resort

The rooms seem very old and there were LCD TVs. As soon as we entered the room it was filled with mosquitos. Upon telling the staff several times they decided to give us mosquito repellent. Further on we wanted an extra bed which was given at 12 at night. The pool the only 4ft tall and the changing rooms are disgusting. Food was fine.

Not at all upto Club Mahindra standards. Rooms are average. The kettle was not working. Bathrooms are terrible. Shower area especially. We stay here only because we are Club Mahindra members. If you aren't a member, there are so many better places to stay in Mysore. This is such a shame.because the greenery around Golden Landmark is actually really nice.what a waste of a beautiful environment. Disappointed that Club Mahindra isn't taking more effort to check the quality of their affiliate resorts

Worst room was given by club mahindra people, no proper welcome or host alloted, water jug was in repair, smelly towels, bathrooms without proper cover for shower (screens were sticking to body when showering, warm water in shower if you take bath after 9.30 am, room service takes almost 1 hour to attend, house keeping is the worst they come very late, people working here kept fighting in corriers in hindi blaming eachother for cleaning the rooms, no tv cable for almost a day we had to call them 10 times for it, bathroom walls had lots of fungus never have attempted yo clean and please OCD people don’t even think of renting here as you will go mad, bedspreads were very old and ruff we had use ours and receptionist said we have given a very good room and washed her hands off and didnt even bother to enquire about our stay, pathetic work ethics here, it felt very shameful staying in the royal city like mysore with poor hygiene resort, feels like working class has not been trained properly or paid properly and no supervision in the resort, nobody smiles or talks or greets, being in the royal city of mysore this resort is a black mark from club mahindra group, we just used it like a lodge and spent the whole day in safari and leaving with bitter mind and heart. No thanks at all to you guys. Thank god we didn’t get our family or guests otherwise we would have regretted it for years.

Dear club mahindra people being in the cleanest, safest and beautiful state of karnataka you guys have lost it on your creativity and work ethics to do here. Its such a surprise why you guys have not concentrated on karnataka club mahindra resorts. Sad to know this. And we rather book jungle resorts than staying here. Good bye.

The hotel upkeep and maintenance is not there. Hotel under renovation. Food quality average.

WORST RESORT EVER

PLEASR READ THIS
We had booked this resort banquet hall for an event and the event was cancelled they made us pay Rs 50,000/- as advance a month ago and when the cancellation happened they are supposed to refund the money according to what they said. It’s been a year we are still waiting for refund SUCH SCAMMERS. DO NOT CHOOSE THIS IRRESPONSIBLE PROPERTY.

Decent rooms, the resort was not very far from the city center. The service staff in the restaurant was new had a knack for forgetting order although the food was above average and the place was well maintained.

The staff- Nandini and team were very nice, the property is big and beautiful. Two stars for the above- rest just goes down from here. The whole place is dirty- we asked to change our towels/ bed sheets etc.were not clean at all. The restaurant is namesake only and can be completely avoided. The toilets are also decades old and not clean. Definitely needs a lot of improvement and is a blot on Club Mahindra Franchise.

A nice property to stay. Green with trees. Not much to do inside. Their restaurant needs an upgrade.not their hospitality but their food. You don't get what you see on the menu.

I love trains and a railway line passes touching the boundary of the resort. For me it's sweet may not be for others.

Overall a beautiful property waiting for an upgrade.

Very spacious. Looking Grand, keeping up the spirit of Mysore. Lots of greenery. Friendly staff. Rooms have good facilities.

Visited as they have a tie up with Club Mahindra Holidays. It's a very nice location with a good layout. The service levels at the restaurant and rooms was quite tardy.

Corona virus seems to have deeply affected this place a beautiful place otherwise. I understand Club Mahindra is taking over it. Wish they take over and make it what it deserves

This resort doesn’t follow COVID 19 protocol.
Staff don’t wear masks and there are no sanitisers in the entrances.
Rooms are very old and the toilets keep stinking.
TVs don’t work and you should beg them for recharge.
If key card doesn’t work you have to walk until reception there aren’t any one in the building to help or any phones outside.
They couldn’t clear the plates for 2 days though we asked them to.

We stayed in luxury villa service was not upto the mark.
Had to endure careless server and over- priced, disappointing food

A verdant sprawling space with the sounds of birds, frogs and trains if you're nostalgic - this resort is a breath of fresh hour (quite literally too!)
The service was excellent, despite low occupancy due to COVID there was no stone left unturned and everyone from reception, to house keeping, to the restaurant were very accommodating of any request.

A special mention goes to the food - it was absolutely delicious, made with care and almost home like. Strongly recommended having meals here!

Also recommended walking around the campus looking at the ancient trees so well preserved and majestic!

Rooms are decent with fresh linen. Faced issues with hot water in the bath. Didn't get positive response when asked to rectify the problem. Housekeeping was good but inhouse dining wasnt up to the mark.

Not a well maintained resort. Experience was not good at all. Room maintenance was sub standard, check in and check out took more than 45 mins each time. Pls avoid if possible.

Pleasant and memorable stay for 2 days in the midst of thick greens. It's very rare to find such property with 13 acres of greenery within the city. Chef Raaj, restuarant manager Kiran and all the staff are very focused on hospitality and guests. Service is highly personalised. Though there are modern hotels in Mysore city, nothing will come closer to it in terms of greenery and guest amenities.

Resort ambience as such is very pleasing. The greens around the rooms will make you happy.
But the rooms are bad (spacious but outdated). The service is even more bad. Finally food is terrible. Avoid if possible.

No proper response from room service people. No buggy vans for carrying luggages because the rooms are almost a Kilometre away. Only 1 bell boy were available during our travel, we were 10 members+4 kids. We felt pity and carried few of our own luggages.

Very good place to stay if visiting Mysuru. Well maintained rooms, good garden, good team. Restaurant menu can be better though

Good location, good rooms, good amount of greenary maintained within the premises, efficient and polite staff. We had the buffet breakfast and it was great. Thought the options were limited, the food taste was great. Definitely recommended.

Terrible unmaintained washroom even when party is going on and there are cleaning staff standing next to washroom who are very arrogant. Food quality is very average and service folks are ignorant of any language other than Tamil. On top of this, change over rooms are about 1.5km from party halls, of which at least 1km has to be walked by foot. Very average stuff and by no means worth 5k+ per night

Two star for the Food! Very avg.taste, didn't expect this from a good resort. Service not good. The employees seem to be new and inexperienced. I had been for an engagement event. The coffee n tea served were warm. We asked them for hot coffee.they didn't even bother to serve. The service need proper grooming.

We have stayed three day in this property and response and maintenance is poor and never bothered to clen the rooms and over stay experince was average

If your vegetarian please don't ever choose this place, don't know about non veg as we didn't had any. Food taste was very bad, nothing was good. Soup, Manchurians, kulchas, paratas, curries all were below average. Even street side food tastes more good than this.

Had been there for a day outing.
Swimming pool water appears to be murky, probably because of the shrubs around it.
Very calm and peaceful place.
Food is quite delicious at their restaurant.

Horrible experience.
1) the front desk will not share wifi
2) very dirty swimming pool with big peices of broken beer glass, bottles and broken tiles tat will leave you with cuts
3) non experienced trainees working wit no sense of hospitality nor timely services
3) bad food that is bearly hot or not even next to warm
4) wrong and exaggerated bill given at the time of check out

NOT WORTH THE MONEY YOU WILL PAY!

Exceptional ambience, well maintained lawn and garden. Mediocre service staff. Lunch buffet is great with quality but not in taste. Banquet hall is exceptional.

It does not meet the standards shown in the photos. The rooms and the restaurant is not well maintained. The TV is very old (it's not LED and even LCD, it's the old fashioned one)
The room and the bathroom was not cleaned. There was cockroach under a curtain. The safe (or locker) was also not functioning. It's not worth it.

I must say the location of the resort is at best place of Mysore city. Value for money, absolutely silent and family space offering you.pools are awesome

We went for dinner. Food was below average. Service was very slow - there were two waiters and most of the time they were inside the kitchen making it hard for you to call them when needed. No wash room near the dining area, you need to walk to the main reception area which is around 200m away - making it hard for old people to walk over. Overall, not a good place to have food.

Actually we booked the hotel through Oyo the interior of the hotel rooms were not cleaned, the bedsheets were stingy the hotel manager didn’t respond properly and didn’t care about what we complained. Kind of a worst experience the food was bad overall prefer some other hotel

We went only for project party. Friendly staff. In house bar with billiards. Special playing space to conduct games if you are planning for project party. Buffet was good.
