Worst dhabha ever! Please don't stop by! It was too good when I visited it 6 years back but things have almost changed starting from basic hygiene conditions to food and service. I will start with washrooms - my husband and kids used gents washroom and it was so pathetic that the pipe was broken and all the urine dropped on their feet and ofcourse I was furious to hear that. I spoke with dhabha owner he was so rude and said "aapka peshab gira hai na aapke upar kisi aur ka thoda na hai".
Then comes to food - we asked for daal makhani but they served maa chole ki daal which eventually was full of moong (I know this as I belong to North India) again spoke with owner but he continued arguing with me and was rude again.
Basic hygiene - hand wash area, the liquid soap is full of water that you can't even wash hands with it.
In total it was a worst experience. Please please don't visit this place. Apoorva resort which is near to this place is a much better and clean option.
I don’t know who owns this place now, but earlier maybe a decade back, I’ve regularly visited here, it was one of the best dhabas with authentic punjabi cuisine, now it’s nowhere similar.
Worst ever dhaba scene. In 38 degree heat they will ask us sit under metal sheet and its almost 40+ degree at the time and god grace we have just taken 2 lassy. That is nothing but 10rs Nandini curd and get bill 220rs that means 110rs/ lassy. Lootooo Bhai lootoo
Wonderful place to have your lunch while on the go. Homely food. Staffs were polite. Clean toilets. Reasonable pricing. Service is little slow but that is fine as they freshly cook the food and serve.
It's a Sham. Stopped by to eat looking at authentic Punjabi attired uncle. But the food is as far away from being a Punjabi delicacy as the River Nile's mouth is from its source. Worst Lassi I have ever had in my entire life. The host was unkind, didn't value the customer and the food was terrible. Won't recommend.
Very expensive, food was ok. But not well hygiene. Have enough space for seating and car parking.single Aloo paratha at 75, single kulcha small in size at 35, Veg curries at 130-150, Starters at 150+, Curd rice priced at 120.
Never ever go to this restaurant, they don't respect the customers, overpriced, food is delayed for almost an hour. The staff acts as though they are providing food for free. Sarjarjis are always humble but these people seem to have those qualities. Please check the bill before you pay it, they will add 2-3 items which you haven't ordered.
A must visit for all travellers on Bangalore Pune highway and locals as well. Superb food quality with no artificial colour. Typical punjabi food with loads of butter and love. You will get authentic food all the way at this very place. Nostalgic value for me is there.as used to frequently visit during my college days.
Good place for the Punjabi cuisine lovers, you will get the taste of ghar ka khaana, must visit restaurant for all the north Indians who long for the taste of their cuisine
Please make sure wat is full chicken before ordering, because at late you will end up disappointed by getting one big bowl of chicken which you can't even finish by your whole life thank you
Worst food I ever tasted. 1 year back (2018 Aug). Food was good n taste.but when I visited with Mr friend today. Its worst.egg curry there is no spice in it. And butter kulcha made from vanaspati (it should be named vanaspati kulcha). Roti was OK OK. And aloo paroota it was so oily oily. Never seen aloo paroota like that Only + ve thing is Cost Other than that everything b is bad even service
I have been visiting this since last 10 years on way to Dharwad. Quality of food is always good. People serving are also very good. We love Aaloo Paratha, egg burji, dal tadka.
Located on the NH-4 highway just 2-3 kms off the service road near to Davangere and decent place with North Indian and Punjabi cuisine. It has both AC n non AC facility.
It was really good punjabi food outside punjab and the service was very good and rates are affordable and we ordered alloo paratha and quantity was so good we have finished among 4 people and curd was also different and rice quality and quantity was good Must visit if you pass over near Davanagere
Food quality is not consistent, ranges from poor to excellent. AC hall is occasionally open. If sitting outside, be ready to interact with occasional in house canine visitors. Drinks from outside are allowed with permission. Service takes a lot of time
