Golden Temple, Kushalangar

This place is supposed to be a holy place, place significant for Buddhists followers
When we went in December it was overcrowded with so many people visiting
Kids running around making noise, people talking and clicking photos and making this a tourist place
People should respect this place and follow decorum inside the sanctum which is not seen nowadays
Either this place should be closed down for tourists or strict standards should be incorporated to allow people to come and pray only and retain the significance of the place

It is an extremely amazing place, with great art and culture and also very neat and clean even though it provides free entry,

Buddhist monastery temple. Lack of guide or any background explanation about the temple history is not found anywhere in the vicinity.

Very pleasant and calm ambiance. Little bit off side from bangalore highway but worth visiting. Prayer hall is very beautiful and clean. Amazing experience visiting abodes of Lord Buddha showcasing culture and religion.

I visited Golden temple solo. You will be fascinated by its beauty. Also there are a huge number of gift shops and food stalls inside it so you can easily buy gifts for your loved ones or/and grab a quick snack.

Buddhist temple with very huge and pious idols and gorgeous halls decorated with historical pictures of Buddhism.

The place is good to visit, the view is awesome

You can spend 20 mins inside the temple and 40 to 45 mins outside of this temple shopping

If one wants to experience Tibet and Buddhism, one must visit this Tibetan settlement in Bylekuppe in Kushalnagar. One must visit the Golden Temple of Buddha. It is an experience by itself! The sanctity, divine atmosphere and Buddhist prayers in the background makes it so special. Please do visit!

Nice and a calm place, it looks similar to Hindu temples, new cultural views and a good experience, worth a visit.

This place is very peaceful. Has a lot of description about the Buddhist Culture. The monks are praying, reciting chants with a smile. The surrounding area and the monks stay (Hostel area) is filled with amazing flowers and there are cafés and shops too.

Excellent place.in the but slipper we got worst service.that felow miss behaved with school children.he used foul language with students.and they collected slipper stand rent alva too much.

The monastery is really pleasant and calm.

Very beautiful, the art sculpture and tradition of Tibet is well depicted. Tibetians are well spoken, of good nature and happy lives. The place is highly crowded with scores of visitors and tourists swarming along. The best time to visit will be post monsoon. You can buy handicrafts and other Tibetian stuff but it's slightly expensive. Overall experience - very good.

It need to be in must visit place in list. A beautiful temples are there. Lord Buddha and other gods and Guru’s statue are there in those temple. You may feel peaceful in the temple.
They are maintaining temple in a good way.
Nearby good clothes and decorative stuffs market are there. You can buy things related to Tibet, Lord Buddha and others. Prices value are also upto mark.
Car, Buses and Bike parking are there. You can park there, Some minimal charges need to provide. There is no charges for temple entry.
As road construction are ongoing at that time, we went with other way. One nearby person helped us. Thanks to him.

Must visiting place It is so beautiful and peaceful place for relaxation.
The architect of the building is very beautiful and neatly maintained. It takes 30 minutes to quickly see. We have a super cool place where we can sit and relax our mind inside the main building. Tibetan shopes are kept outside, more collections and prices are fixed. We can buy whichever we loved.

Good place, well maintained. The place closes soon, so would recommend to be here within 5 pm.

Namdroling Monastery, Aka Golden Temple is a beautiful must-visit temple situated in Kushal Nagar, Mysore District of Karnataka. I have no words to describe how we could experience the ambiance of this place. It would be a great place to visit if you are looking for inner peace. When we see their prayers and management, some kind of curiosity will be generated inside us. Find some time and experience the divine vibe. Have some inner peace ️. You can reach here from Madikeri - Mysore highway. It's very close to Kushal Nagar.
