Please don't go to the hotel if it's not your last option on the earth. All roti/chapathi items are cooked from readymade packets (if you ask they genuinely agree, appreciate their honesty). These are also not properly cooked as you'll have stomach ache issues later. The price is high for the items they serve and place is kept very dirty. You'll start getting puking vibes if you are someone who wanna eat in a place which is good. I think roadside stalls will serve better foods than these guys.
One of the best place to try our Bengaluru fashioned naati style food is gowdru Hotel. Loved the boti fry, kaima, chops and mutton biryani. Would recommend every Naati food lovers to try this place out.
Service is really bad, we have to call 10 times to order and to get menu on a regular day, you have to wait 15 mins, the costings are similar to a non veg hotel where the avg price would 200-250 per person, overall we waited for 45 mins to get the food, the banana leaf also dried by the time we received the food, 0 responsibility, dissatisfied with them
Few days ago, I went to this restaurant with my old colleagues. I was very impressive by the it's architecture even it places in a small alley inside the downtown. This restaurant is one of the famous restaurant in the city, hence it seems always full of customers. We had to wait around 30 minutes to order our foods. It's worth the wait, the foods and drinks are delicious, the side dishes with a little sweetness and main course are really spicy but I love that taste a lot.
I tried mutton and chicken biriyani both are without salt and spice, The mutton chops were slightly better but not good, The kabab can easily tell they used rotten chicken.
Not great taste, I had biryani, kabab and leg soup. Only leg soup was ok. But kabab and biryani was not tasty at all. I felt simply waste of money having food here.
Yeah I liked it here. We tried plain Biryani rice with chicken chilly, chicken lollypop, Special Boti fry and Brain fry! The rice was apt. Quantity was not too less nor more. Tasted good. Loves the social Boti fry. It was very good! Lollypop with 5pcs and it was good as well. Chilly chicken was spicy a bit. It's a normal hotel with a good karnataka nati style dishes! Parking for two wheelers and four in front and in side lanes. Check out the bill attached
Nice Muddya Miles Food Was Awesome and if any on reach CMH ROAD R DOUBLE ROAD 2ND Stage Plz Have a Visit Once To The Delicious Food Thank For Maintenance Of Team Hotel In COVID Time Staff Was Wearing Mask Will Delivery Of Food.
Wow the place to taste some authentic ragi mudde and some traditional mutton delicacies. They also serve idli and paya soup thrice a week which is a must try dish. Staff at Gowdru hotel are very cordial and good at understanding customers needs.
The food is good. It seems a bit overpriced though as far as I have explored the nearby similar food options. Combos in the evening and breakfast seems to be good.
I found a cockroach roaming on our table, although the place looked clean and that definitely was a big turn off. Very average naati food. I tried out the Mutton Beegara Oota and I have to the say the Mutton Masala as well as the small amount of biryani rice were both average in taste and lacked the spicy kick and these are the main dishes. I have tried out quite a few places with great Naati food but I definitely cannot recommend this one if you are looking for spicy naati mutton/chicken meals. Food is filling although mutton oota is overpriced in my opinion. The Ragi Mudde with the Gowdru special chicken masala is good though. Avoid this place if you can.
Visit for: 1. Naati food which is not very spicy. 2. Ragi Mudde and their special chicken curry or Mudde Oota which is priced very well.
Avoid because: 1. No amazing spicy naati biryani/curry. 2. Average taste, overpriced. 3. Cleanliness is an issue.
The idli and curry is amazing here. Very spicy (that's what I love about it) so carry a few tissues as you're going to need it. 10/10 would recommend any day
Went for Dosa and mutton masala but ends up with Thatte idly and mutton masala. Idly was so soft and mutton masala was very good.price wise mutton masala was little bit higher side.
PROS- The Masala around the meat tastes good with right amount of spices salt & pepper. CONS- Meat isn't cooked well and feels tough. Funny that the guy serving hesitates to serve onion twice and tells me that its given only once. Definitely not worth visiting.
Please try Hotel Aditya in No. 322,6th Main Road, West of Chord Road, 13th Cross, Mahalaxmipuram, Chord Rd, opp. Nandini Cinema, 2nd Stage, Nagapura, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560086.
This hotel is the benchmark for proper mutton oota. Thank me later.
It's open at 7 am on Sunday and you get idli, leg soup, biryani and chicken/mutton fry. Leg soup is the best in the locality. Mutton biryani is ok type and the quantity is also less for the price. 4 wheeler parking is difficult.
This cannot be a Gowda hotel. Very bad biryani taste could not finish it even though quantity was less and cost was high. Looks like Dalda. If you want to waste your money try this once and you will never go again
I loved the taste of food but pricing is bit high and very poor service on afternoon times due to too many visitors. They should provide more guys to productive services. The guys are actually trying to do the best but forgetting to deliver the full services which actually the customers deserve.
Service or food is not that great. I could not get the authentic local taste. I would prefer the BDA complex road side food vendors better. The menu in only Kannada was quite impressive.
Terrible food! They provide stale food and alot of old kept food nothing is fresh there! The maintance and service is really bad and the staff are arongant! My suggestion don't go there it's the worst you can imagine!
1 extra * for the Name. But let me tell u 1 chicken Biriyani is 175 rs. It's not worth for the quantity and the taste served.may be the Brand they want to creat in the area. The dining area is clean because newly opened.there is no separate parking space, wheel chair can access inside. Nothing special about.
Just an okay place for a meal. Raggi mudde and Mutton soru was good. White rice given was not cooked properly. Waiters not giving proper service and don't have proper attitude. Prices is a bit more for what we get. Ambience okay.
Excellent food nice taste. Good n rich ambience.nice service. Nice place to have best nonveg meals. Tasty authentic Karnataka naati style food. Value for money
The food is made in true Karnataka style with basic masalas. The special attraction is the biriyani and fiah curry (bone and bone less). The veg option is limited and pricey too. Overall ohkay food quality.
