What a view! A very relaxing place. The service was really prompt and polite. Rooms were spacious, clean and well maintained. The location is quiet as well, helping us relax and be away from usual hustle bustle of the city life. Food was good too, it is home style, not hotel style. Also better to order Indian food than Chinese or something else, tastes better. The quantity was also sufficient. They have a recreation room as well and it is well maintained. The winding roads to this property just add to the experience. It feels completely safe here.
I want to express my gratitude to Ali, the Guests Relations Officer at Kingmakers Plantation, for delivering exceptional service from start to finish. Ali's impeccable professionalism and his remarkable interactions with guests truly made our stay a memorable one. Thanks to Ali's attentive care and dedication, we were able to fully enjoy our time at Kingmakers Plantation. His commitment to guest satisfaction is commendable, and I highly recommend this establishment for the outstanding service provided by individuals like Ali.
Excellent hospitality, Rooms are tidy. There's an attached rooms for where 10+ PPL can occupy if they allow, affordable price with complimentary breakfast. They provided 15+ items for breakfast.
Excellent relaxing place for perfect holiday. Very friendly, informative and hard working staff. Ali gave us excellent service and made our stay very comfortable and pleasant.
It was a great experience. The rooms are really spacious and come with a beautiful view. Specially the balconies are. The best part is the staff though. They are very helpful and cater to all your needs. All in all a wonderful experience.
Great place for those who love nature. Wonderful hospitality. The staff led by Mr Ali ensured a comfortable stay. His proactive approach to make sure that we had a great stay was really nice.
What a view of Valley from Gallery! You can hear serenity of Forest. They have really Good Area for Morning Walk. Room Service is really Good Breakfast are delicious and on Time They Serve really Good Coffee at Breakfast. Very Friendly Staff Issue is it's slightly away from main Area
We were looking for a quaint homestay tucked away in the green hills of Coorg and got exactly what we were looking for! Beautiful suite with a private balcony looking out at lush greenery and uninterrupted views of coffee estates all around
This is a quiet place on a byroad from the madikeri highway. For people looking to relax from the bustle of bangalore this is highly recommended. It's nested amidst serene coffee plantations and is very peaceful. Guests can walk down to the stream flowing below the property and enjoy the nature. We loved the food. The chicken kebabs and coorgi chicken and ghee rice combo was excellent as was the multi spread complimentary breakfast buffet. It's very reasonably priced and we paid around 2.5k for a balcony room despite booking the day before. Hope to visit soon again.
Lovely habitat amongst the coffee plantation. Menu is not exhaustive but tasty food. Room and view is very nice. The walk to the stream is nice however near the stream some advancement can be made by the property owner like arranging a seating area or a bonfire etc. The WiFi is not that great. Having a vi connection i suffered big time. The service boys are nice and helpful.
It was very good place to stay for nature lovers, the rooms are very well maintained, breakfast is good but the only negative is the lunch and dinner, the staff are very polite and friendly especially Rakib and other person I don’t remember his name who served us breakfast. Thank you travel time for giving us this good place to Stay ️️
The positives first. Location is a plus for this facility. The stay facility is pretty old but they have maintained the rooms very well. There are some indoor games and play area for kids if you decide to sit and relax in the room. Now comes the cons. Food is not worth to order here. Complimentary breakfast was average. You have to go a long way for getting food from other restaurants. The service is poor, the TV set top box was not activated nor the wifi signal is not available at rooms if you are planning for a workation. We chose to stay here since it was a one night stay only, hence on an overall I was not cribbing much about the downside of things.
If you're looking for a quiet getaway, that's close to nature, this is the place to pick! We spent only a couple of days here but we're enchanted by the property. Will surely visit again! Wonderful staff and facilities.
Property is ok. We stayed in so called suit, its a home converted to resort, not worth for what we payed for. No wifi. After lots of requests got jio wifi in late evening.
Pros: Rooms are clean and spacious. Attached balcony View of jungle is superb Breakfast is good.
Cons: No dressing mirror in the room. TV not recharged. TV Remotes had expired batteries. Smelly washroom Flush was not working all the time. Rooms are not cleaned everyday so u can stay there only for 1 or 2 days for good.
Dont go to river view.if u go at that side there are so many leeches it will attack u.its danger to go that river side other than that every thing is fine.
Good stay in nature near coffee plantation. Very peaceful place. Room lights were very dim. Breakfast was good but other than that food for dinner or lunch need to improve
Amidst the lush greens of Coorg before Madikeri is located Greennest Homestay which has a Coffee plantation around spread across few acres with very beautiful views! Rooms are very well maintained and polite staff at your doorstep to address your needs. If you are looking for a nature getaway far from bustling city life this is the place to be! A 20 mins walk through the plantation to the nearby stream downhill is indeed a small trek and very enjoyable. Food is decent and can place orders as per your wish for dinner. Overall we had a pleasant and safe stay- Recommended.
We stayed in Jinu's Green Nest in December. It's a very well maintained place with a great view to wake up to every morning. The service was exceptional. Jinu as well as the staff were very kind, patient and helpful throughout and also gave us great recommendations for our itinerary.
It was amazing experience, most memorable trip of us. Location was so beautiful and pleasent, we felt like home. My daughter enjoyed the place and nature around. Jhinu and staff are so friendly and professional, I highly recommend this place.
We have travelled to so many places nad stayed in N number of resorts. Honestly this was the best stay we ever had. The location is to die for, mist of plantation, Nature, birds chirping, water body in hills side. Rooms are amazing with the best view you want to ever have. Wakeup to the best view and serenity. Food is good Staff service makes it far better. BBQ, bonfire you must not miss here. I rate this place 100/100. Owners are amazing they take care of you so well.
Highly recommended place to visit if you are looking for calm and out of the world stay.
Stayed for 3 nights week ago. Full of greenary as it is surrounded by coffee and bamboo plantation. There is a river stream located inside the property if you are up for few mins walk/trek. Best part of the stay was hospitality. Everyone in the staff is so friendly and greet everyone with smile. It is located 6km from main market but we'll conditioned road and greenary on both side makes journey easy and beautiful. Well in budget, great place to stay and chill.
It was an amazing stay experience. Our comfort and convenience was given utmost priority. The Owner of the property and his staff were extremely courteous, helpful and prompt in service. The rooms were kept in a spick and span condition and the view from the rooms was mesmerizing especially in the early hours of the morning. It was completely worth it.
This place is also known as Kingmaker Plantation and Riverstream. Place is Great for complete Peace and in a middle of forest and on a hill. Great View from top floor room balcony which are towards the hillside.
Pros: Room is big and comfy, bathroom are decent and clean. Location is peaceful and surrounded by greenery. Staff is also good.
Cons: Bathrooms have water heaters which take 15 20 minutes to heat up and also provide less water at a time. Noisy Floor Neighbors can also be an issue sometimes. Food is OK and not like a restaurant, best to order before 1 hr. Place needs a little renovation.
Overall: Total Value for Money in Coorg, Paisa Vasool with just how the rooms are and the beautiful balcony View from room no. 1,2 and 3
Recommended for travelers with peaceful leisure expectations and nothing much. Just Chill
Excellent place! Good hospitality and very friendly people! Beautiful view from the balcony. Ur around nature and few steps down the place ull find fleoing water to just relax and freshup. Good walk just be careful of the leeches
Location is good. We Get good view and balcony spaces. There is also water stream nearby and inside the estate where even kids can enjoy. Rooms are spacious clean and well lit. Owner is also helpful and responds to the concerns and tries to help. That's it. I have negative reviews for the food and quality of service. Horrible food. It was more visible just on first day that cook was inexperienced he was not able to cater to our needs. We just wanted to have normal south indian food soft and properly cooked for kids. We could not get it.not much options only north indian food. Thick Chapathis on first day was disappointing.over that next day half cooked parathas with no proper stuffing compelled me write this review. Good that they kept fruits also.would try barbeque if I have to next time. Struggled to get hot water. You should be lucky or have follow ups with them to get hot water.
Litre bottle of mineral water costs 30rs. We went in group of 20 people. So we ordered for water can. So paid can charges plus auto charges of 200 Rs. Apart from this 1000Rs setting up of campfire was additional. Overall good stay only if food quality is improved.
Very beautiful stay in midst of scenic beauty of coorg. The stay was very smooth and the staffs were very cooperative. However, the prices of stay and food is a little expensive.
Had a great experience. Nadaf is a great host and he did everything to make our stay memorable. Further, Abdul was in charge of the delicious barbecues and always available at our beck and call. Truly a delight and would highly recommend Green Nest plantation stay for a great getaway from the hustle and bustle of Bangalore. Additional tip - Nadaf also deals with spices, so if you're looking for the best export quality unadulterated and unpolished pepper, turmeric, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, honey and bird eye chilli (peri peri) at very reasonable prices and can guide you to the best powder coffee in Coorg. Definitely worth the experience
Further to my previous post, owner claims to serve us food 8am which is blatant lie. We never said we want to go to city. I am shocked how openly this owner lies in public forum. Breakfast was part of the package and it is not free of cost.
Lovely location, very green and serene. Did not feel the need to leave the plantation for any sightseeing at all. View from rooms is amazing. The accommodation is also great, family friendly. They have an inhouse kitchen with decent veg food and very cordial staff. Would definitely recommend for a quick weekend getaway from mysore/ blr.
