One thing to mention is there is no good hotel available in the place for Breakfast.

A very good place outside Bangalore if you are tired of visiting Nandi Hills.
30 mins walk from parking. Do carry water as nothing is available at the top

The biggest mistake you can make here is by coming here with riding gear, no place toh keep your thing safely before you go for hike.
Apart from this good place less known and can be completed within 1-2 hrs.

This fort has a pretty exhausting trek in order to reach the top. But once you reach the peak, the view is phenomenal. Your hardwork will pay off.

Great view from the top. It is not at all a difficult trek. The crowd is average. Worth the experience with friends, family or even solo

Easy hike with a few tricky sections. Great place for a day outing with friends or family. You can visit with your dog too just beware of monkeys and stray dogs.

It is very beautiful and a little less crowded. There are around 600 steps you have to take to reach the top. Hardly take 30 min with a cold breeze.

I visited in Sept 2023 with Bangalore Mountaineering Club. Enjoyed the trek and the view! Isha Adiyogi is nearby on the way back to Bangalore

It's an uphill trek with around 400 steps. You can have a cinematic top view with some hungry monkeys roaming around.

Decent place for weekend trek.
There few vendors at start of trek.so make sure to carry water and snacks for trek.
Trek will usually take 1-2 hrs but view from top is awesome!

Good places to hang out, but not many good restaurants nearby. Plan accordingly; there's a small stall available for juices and coconut water.

Limited parking. There are close to 500 steps until you reach the top. It's not a typical fort, at the top you'd find an abandoned temple and the scenery and breeze makes it worth the climb especially if it's not a sunny day. Please ensure to carry enough water and if you have breathing issues then refrain the claim as the ascent is comparatively steep.

Nice place to visit early morning. Good for photo sessions. You'll feel chilled fresh air at the top.

If you plan for a one day vacation from Bangalore you can choose this place. It’s a ruined fort, you have to trek around more than 500 steps, but it was easy. There is a shiva temple and ruins of old fort in the top. You can see a panoramic view of the town. Best time to go in the morning. There were 9 rainwater harvesting ponds in the fort and secret paths also there. If you love adventure try to find the secret paths and enjoy.
