Guhantara Resort

I've been there recently and trust me people complaining about things have some high demands from a budget friendly place. The rooms are beautifully made and we'll maintained. The games are good. Food all 3 times was good variety and quality. Yes the place is under maintenance but it does not hinder any activity or your stay!

When you ppl are doing maintenance, and the swimming pools are closed, why are you charging full amount.
Not a great food, no much activities, not worth for money

Not great activity, need cash for most of the games which could be informed earlier.
We dint had cash so could not play much.

The place is good if you are going with a big group. They have some indoor games (carrom, snooker, table tennis, foosball) and outdoor games (cricket, badminton) these are the only games that are free to use/ play. For othe activities (like zip line, zorbing, VR, horse riding, bull riding, ATV, fish spa) you will have to pay extra for individual activity, some of the cost are worth it some are not. Also, I am not sure if staying here would be worth the price.
Some events that you can take part in is the floor dance which is organized from 2.30 to 3.30 or you can go to the Swimming pool. But the swimming pool is very small than what you would expect.
I had lunch, it was better than you would expect it. Some items in the buffet were tasty, some of them not so much. I won't be able to comment on breakfast. If you are planning to reach late, don't pay for the breakfast ticket.
There is a small play area for kids.

Bad maintenance. When we came, out of all activities only few were operational. Most of the stuff in kids play area were broken. They should mention it, so that we can plan before coming. No proper seating arrangement for lunch.not recommend or come here again.

Food is tasty but lacks maintenance. Have to wait for rotis /any food items for 15 20 mins.

Very few free activities. Hardly 1 or 2 pairs of bow and arrow they have, 3-5 pairs of badminton/shuttlecock. Kids area is good for below 3 year old. Seriously nothing for 3 to 10 year kids.
Paid activities are there (high priced though) but that's also very less option to choose from.

Overall good experience and a nice spot to spend a day with a lot of fun, quality food and clean environment. Only drawback i felt is that individual rides or sport have to be played by paying some extra amount for each. Other than that, overall a good experience

Pathetic. The management don't have basic courtesy as how to deal with customers. Dnt ever go there. WASTE OF MONEY

Hats off to the architecture and ambience of Guhantara! Really suggestable for a day out with family!

Really horrible experience. This place was packed beyond their capacity. Due to which they were not able to cater good food to all. No covid protocols followed. Playground was full. Swimming pool was a mess

This resort was not that great, no innovative or creative games, very very less activities, not worth to spend a day long, could have been more hygiene in the food court.
I think it will be good if they start having more games rather having carrom and all which are common.

Disappointed before visiting itself as no one is responding to enquiry calls made on the contacts available on site

Not visiting but my neaber was telling me it's good for gaming and children so I visited upcoming days

Overall a nice experience. The place is bit small than expected. They could have added some open space so it could been a good experience for visitors.

Best place for a day's outing. Even better for a weekend stay. Lots of activities, lots of good food but most of all really intricate detailing on the cavern design.

This Arts and Sports center is good for family and friends enjoyment. The place is very spacious. Management is good. Quality of foods are very much tasty.

Only thing above average was food (obviously not ice cream). Curries, soup, rice etc were delicious.

I have to say its really average place. But it has its own vibe, the management has to be more responsible, i asked for pen they didn't have even a pen thats really poor management, and road leading to the resort does not even hve proper road and no street light it is really hard to navigate as it is inside

Good place for entertainment, but price is bit high, need to pay extra for some entertainment games.

Overall the ambience was not so good. Pool was small limited space &food was okay not so tasty. The rest horse ride, outdoor activities was fun & you can go this time to spend some time with your friends & family good space for outdoor activities, nice weather.last the rain dance was so amazing tht the only thing you enjoyed in 980rs per person you can enjoy a average.

Good place. But too crowded during weekends. Buffet was good but there was too much crowding. Crowd management can be better. Specifically during this pandemic times

Visited for day outing, and it was my biggest mistake, after payment no one care about u there, staffs aren't professional, no dress code, no one will welcome u, I felt like they r giving u some kind of favor, nothing special in this resort, old and not in good condition summing pool was dirty, washroom is like super dirty, no higene, food having very limited options, evening tea is like 90 % of water, why some one will visit this resort, o my God please forgive me but never send me in this type of resort again.

Food quality is really not good. Really didn't have good experience. It was good when went 4 years back.

The guhantara is a very unique and beautiful place with many indoor and outdoor activities, swimming pool, rain dance and tasty buffet breakfast, lunch n tea and snacks.very pleasant and s spacious but a little costly

Below average quality property. Over crowded, no covid safety protocols. Hardly there is any activity. It is a very tiny and poorly manged place. They don't even have proper seats to sit and relax. I could see lots of rush for horse riding, a frustrated guy was struggling to manage crowd (poor guy was not knowing hindi or english and people were shouting at him and jumping lines, as there was no one else to help him in manging queue).

Lunch was good. But no sitting arrangement. Breakfast was horrible

It's not a bad place for a family outing. But there are several concerns. Some of the activities are not available; the "high tea" was only tea/coffee and chilli bhaji. More crucially, there is no reasonable restriction on the number of people so the place can get very very crowded. Be mindful that social distancing may not be possible, especially during meal times. Rain dance is packed to the brim.
It is difficult to get cabs on the return, so recommend having own transportation.

It was our school friends reunion meet after 11 long years so the place made worth of it staff are good love with the place one must definitely vist to enjoy the nature good air overall love with guhanthra?

Very very sub standard resort. Food is very pathetic. Please avoid this resort to the extent possible. Absolutely waste of time, energy and money. No activities at all and not at covid safe. No restrictions at all and people roaming around without masks. We came at 10.15 and checked out at 12. Though it was criminal waste of money we wanted to be safe.

Food was very delicious n there was not much activity as complimentary.n activities were quiet costly.

1000 rs per person for Entry with food.does not include other activities. Each attractive (rop walking, horse walking etc) need extra money. Food is over priced. Dirt bike, paint ball, archery is there, but not functional. Only cash is accepted for safety deposit of free rides. When i entered and saw everything, I thought " my#u oo*bi". There is a small pool. You can get there and cry without showing Ur tears

Very bad resort. It is only for a day trip but not recommended for stay. Rooms were stinking. No water in washroom and infact fr 2am to 7am. O water was there. Intercom was not working. Kitchen was very bad. I went to kitchen at around 2am to make complaint regarding water and to my surprise I saw dogs liclking the plates in the kitchen. Very poor hygiene and not maintained properly. It can be good for a day trip but not definitely for the stay.

Overrated place, worst food ever served, hospitality is 3rd class. No bar Shop n liquor served at 5 times the mrp. I recommend you to avoid this place & visit any other decent resorts nearby

The architecture of this resort with the old age cave vibes is the main attraction. The day out packages generally don't include any of the interesting outdoor activities which are already limited. Food is average. Swimming pool could be maintained better.

Updated review: Went for a night stay in the lithic room. The room was good with rustic touch. Loved the bathtub concept. Food was okay. In fact we got charged INR 600 for dinner which was not worth it. However, stay for one night was worth the money that we paid.

2 years ago: Took vouchers for day visit through Nearbuy. Went with my better half. Enjoyed walking in the entire resort. DJ party is not to be missed. Combined with rain dance, the event happens from 3 PM - 4 PM. Lunch was satisfactory with quite a lot of options in veg and non-veg. Activities like zorbing, zipline, paintball, quad bike and bull ride are paid. There's fish spa and tattoo making also available on paid basis. The visit was worth the 1k that we spent!:)

Guhantara was an interesting place! There were many activities that one could do, the fish spa, Zip lining, the rope bridge, the mechanical bull riding, the quad biking, swiming and host of games, cricket, football, volleyball, badminiton, carrom, snooker.etc The food was good and pools were clean. It was intriguing to watch the rain dance as well. The DJ started the show exactly on time.a first for me!

I believe with a little bit more care the place can be top notch. Some draw backs were.no lounge chairs at the pools, chaning rooms at the pools were under construction and so one had to change some distance aways or use the restrooms. The Zip line staging area should have a harnes and line for those afraid of height to get up to the staging area.

One should remember to take your own pair of gloves for the either of the rope bridges. They are challenging for both - those afraid of heights and the sporting kind.

So, on the whole I would give it a 7/10 rating, simply because it is taking time to build up after the pandemic and things being repaired are slow in progress. The energy vibe was more laid back than enthusiastic!

No proper management in swimming pool and rain dance. Many people was misbehaving after drinking.

I visited this place along with my family during 2021 pongal holidays. Such a wonderful place to spend time peacefully.pool view rooms and interior of the rooms was so nice. Mr. Ravi, the room incharge was so kind. The games in the resort was enjoyable.food was very nice and tasty. I recommend this place.

This resort is very good. The adventures in this resort like rope walk, zip line, etc are really nice. This place is very peaceful and relaxing.
The only issue was food. The food was really special and there were no chairs to sit and eat peacefully

GOOD Resort after club cabana this is one of the best resorts in and around Bengaluru. Very huge fish spa rope sliding jumping dirt bike ride balloon ride bull ride full day activity without any boring even lunch is also very huge variety of option.

Looting people in the name of resort. No maintenance no proper games, all activities are overly charged, swimming pool is not maintained, single shower room for everyone just imagine.also it looks ordinary. Activities area is not enough to accommodate sufficient. There is no scenic beauty where one can relax and chill. It's just waste of time.

I had a visit to this resort very recently. And i felt below average. When you check in the site you will find so many activities, those will be pay services and for free services you will have to wait hours together which will make you bored. We need to discuss few here. 1) Crowd, in holidays time there was too much of crowd and which will prolong you wait time for all the activities. 2) Because of excessive crowd, food gets over quickly and replacement takes very slow thereby you may not enjoy much. Food quality also very poor, when i took so many mutton pieces in biriyani, all those are just bones, this is the same to my friends who sat next to me. 3) Activites, there are free activites like cricket, volleyball, basketball, foot ball, throwball, badminton, honestly we do not go resort for playing these kind of games and for each of them max time limit is 45mins. And there paid activites like horse ride, rope activities, go karting and some other for each rs. 118 and there will be long que for them. And some indoor games like carroms, hoose ball (paid), table tennis, snooker (paid). 4) Pools, there 2 pools just pretty average and they strictly avoid cotton clothes. Again becuase of crowd, hardly you will join in the pool. 5) Disco - rain dance, seriously, this is major draw back as the floor is too small max 50 members can stand for dance just jumping and raising hands and remaining have to keep watching even though you foot tapping and heart is willing to dance. In rain dance, the rain is hardly a rain as if someone is pissing. They have locker facility, each cupbaord can accomadate 4-5 bag packs and rs. 100 is the cost. My suggestion - avoid going in holiday time. There are other beautiful resorts available like mango mist for youngster to do some adventures. Finally, my time just wasted going there standing in long ques, waiting for the chance. Hope, my post helps others to decide before taking decision.

Very Good Place for a day off.has all the outdoor sporting amenities plus a great indoor ambiance.the highlight was the rain dancing activity.would recommend for a full day outing!

Nice to go with family, food was relay good and provide limited free games, you have to pay money for most of the games, no water games expect rain dance and swimming pool.

Good place to spend with family. Have good food for breakfast and lunch. No idea on dinner. Hitesh party halls and lectural halls. We went as a team from our company for a team event. Has space to organise team events. Games are interesting in this resort. Prefer for team events and for fun events. Parking free.

Poor
There are two guys who tried to beet me when I just stood up in girls section when the rain dance was going on. The company recruited very poor behaviour peoples and there is one more incident happened with me today one of their staff people said to me to not to stand in bridge that they have in dance area. What the heck is happening here is this a prison or what?

Very bad quality food both breakfast and lunch they prepared was very bad

Enjoyed walking in caves, swimming pool, cycling. However I have few comments on improvement side.
Open area of resort needs to be improved. Food quality and taste needs to be improved a lot. Few food not even cooked properly like gobi manchuria, chicken masala. Mutton Biriyani not tasty at all. Halva in Desert section is just a mixture of suger and pumpkin. Too crowded on sunday.

Its an underground resort wid small 3 swimming pools. Food was ok to have but not that tasty. Paid activities are costly and free ones are not that interesting.

The ones who are booking online, make sure to take PNR number, booking id and successful payment.

In starting they have one tunnel kind of passage which they call cave. Not much things to do. Most of fun out door or indoor activities you need to pay. Very small swimming pool. Rain dance program was good but only for 20-25 min. DJ was good. Food was also good. An average Resort.

Lost it's charm over the years. Food is average and so is the place. Other than cricket ground, nothing is so.great here. If you are looking for official outings, pls avoid. Just the entrance caves and carvings are ok and nothing else

Nice place to visit. Staff need to be more attentive during breakfast and lunch as there was not proper service. Food quality is good in both breakfast and lunch.

I didn't like the food provided. Resort has space but I feel it's very old infrastructure not much to update and cleanliness not much of water based activities

Good aesthetics to the place and well organised. Quite spacious for a decent amount of crowd, larger crowd gets chaotic. Quality of facilities are average, not the resort but the vandal crowd of our nation deserve credits for it! The ever hyped rain dance did not get much of my attention upon sight, I'm less likely person to dance so could be a treat for dance enthusiasts. All being said, a bad food experience to sum it up, quite tasteless (or I've tasted way too good food), the rest is average for the moolah!

It's a nice place to sit and relax but for people who come seeking activities, there is very less on offer. When we went here, the only free activities were swimming and rain dance. The only thing that was good there was the food.
