Even though good treatment is given as per the patient's condition, waiting time too long even we go at 10am will come out by 3 or4pm always and pharmacy closes before 9pm yet shows open, just by seeing open we travelled soo far to get medicine n it was close vry disappointed.

YOU NEED TO HAVE ALOT OF MONEY WHEN YOU ENTER THIS HOSPITAL. Very disappointing experience
First of all they are not cost friendly, so we wanted to stop the procedure and change the hospital
They took 2hrs for the discharge process and charged for the labour room which was on hourly basis.
We had already informed them about not wanting to continue the treatment at 2 and now 4'o clock while I am writing this even then they haven't discharged yet.
We had spoken to other hospital and we need to go there too but they don't understand anything else but money. They just want money.
They need to understand not everybody can afford the price.
I want to tell you guys go here only if you can rich.

YOU GUYS ARE EXPENSIVE AND ITS A FACT. And yes "unknown reason" is it? But I remember clearly telling about us not being able to afford it. You told against the medical advice but if one is not able to afford the crazy expensive treatment what does one do? Look for cheaper hospitals Also whatever you did you were paid for it you didn't do it for charity, we paid for what you did.
I would also like to ask if you mentioned the side effects of blood transfusion? Isn't your responsibility to inform? Disclosing patients health condition on the internet without their permission is a very responsible behaviour!
I don't know what did you expect us to do when we clearly said we cannot afford it.

I would never recommended this hospital for ivf with both women nd men had a issue.
For primary infertility issue thy would treat wel. We may get positive through ivf bt thy are just careless nd waiting period is hrs.

The hospital doesn't look very fancy but their treatment is the best compared to even the fanciest hospitals in India I can say! The team of doctors and staff are friendly, helpful and clear all doubts. Though the procedures and consultations take time, it is going to be worth it! Can rely on all their test results as it is all done in their hospital itself. I am very happy that I came to this hospital:)

It's a very good hospital and I have never see a doctors like here who have treated well.when we come to this hospital first we met Dr Navya she's the most intelligent and kind hearted person, we like their consoling style.we are thankful to Dr Devika mam also because they've treated well and without their help our dreams will not comes true to have a baby in our life.

All the senior doctors are very good. But the junior doctors are very rude and impatient with the patients. I request the management to please train the junior doctors. When the patient is investing so much time and money in your hospital the least they expect is the rude behaviour of the junior doctors.

This hospital has the best in class doctors and other staff members who are always there to help and guide the patients, excellent individual case study and guidance by their expert team.

I would like to thank everyone working at Gunasheela Hospital.the doctor's are very polite and gives time whenever requested. Sometimes the wait is longer but thats a given since so many patients come everyday.

Would also mention a thanks note for Mr Mukund who helped us with all details related to insurance and also he ensured that we are not waiting for a long time.

Another thanks note for Mrs Suparna who helped us so much when we were new and confused. She clarified and explained everything in very easy manner.

Embryology department also very kind while explaining and ensuring that we understood the process and explained multiple times when requested.

I started my infertility treatment in December month. That time my weight was 95kg. On vacation I came to my aunty house who stay in chikmaglore she told me about Dr. Devika and she told me to reduce my weight then I met dietitian Dr.irani mentally she prepared me strong and beautiful explained me about my diet and she gave me a diet chart and it is really helped me. Now currently my weight is 85 kg the things I wanna say is thank you so much you are very kind person I ever met

I am thankful to the doctor's over there.yes the wait is quite long at hospital but the doctors are extremely experienced and skilled. I use to travel daily 1.5 hrs one side to consult them and happy to have my rainbow baby. Because of the distance, we were literally camping out in the car infront of the hospital. One needs to trust the process and doctors there.

Doctors treatment is very good. Staffs response are good. They have maintained it clean. Over all a good hospital with good treatment.

I would like to mention how happy I am because of the nutritionist Mrs Iren S Deepak who with her motivation and nutritional chart helped me lose 10kgs in a span of just 1month! And the bonus is I am also pregnant now and following her pregnancy chart as well.

I was diagnosed with a high risk condition during my pregnancy. Devika ma'am and her team of senior doctors were very upfront about the risks involved. I completely trusted their judgement and thanks to them, I'm now the mother of a baby girl. Special thanks to Devika ma'am and both Ashwinis for their guidance throughout my pregnancy. I must appreciate the nurses and support staff at the hospital for keeping my spirits high while I was in the ICU. They took such good care of me. I would unhesitatingly recommend Gunasheela hospital to all looking for a smooth pregnancy.

This is my own experience I am sharing here.
I went to hospital for the second opinion about the issue I am facing. I clearly mentioned that I want to meet dr. Devika gunasheela to the receptionist for the second opinion. I also told them that I am in process of my treatment and I don't require any test or any scanning because all the required reports with respect to my issue were there with me. Instead of me specifying so much about this. They didn't allow me to meet the doctor directly. They unwantedly did the scanned and charged 1500/-. They gave me the same report which I had previously. After this they told me that I should talk to one of the sr, doctor before meeting Devika. She being a doctor she spoke so negatively about everything. She is just promoting about IUIand IVF procedure. They just talk about your weakness and they scare you about this. They are just playing with our emotions and seeking money from us. At end they didn't allow us to the meet Dr Devika and request us to go through some tests. After which only I can meet her. Please friends there are money minded and they are not concerned about your issue. They just want money. They charged me 2200 for consultation and did not allow us meet her olny. I don't want anyone to face the problem which we faced when we went there. Trust me don't go to that hospital. After meeting that sr. Doctor I emotionally broke down and got so scared about my situation. Doctor should give us hope in our life and not to scare us and make use of our weekness.
I do see the below response from them. But that is not true. They are just trying to get business from us that there motive. Because the doctor who spoke to me just told about iui and IVF. Which was not the topic of discussion on that day. They just made me emotionally weak. I just wanted second opinion on the issue that I am facing, for that I don't know why that doctor spoke about IUI and IVF. I am spent almost 5k on that to meet Dr. Devika and they didn't fullfill that also. This is my honest review. Think twice before going to this hospital.

Doctors are very kind and professional! They explained everything so I could understand and told me all my options.

Though the hospital is having good reputation. I see Too much delay.you will fed up with their processes and waiting period is like hell. You visit anytime but you will come out in the evening 4: 30 or 5.

I write this goggle review with utmost respect for all the doctors, staff and employees of Gunasheela Hospital and Dr Devika Gunasheela in particular. While age was not on our side, we approached Dr Devika for the best suggested approach for having children. Multiple consultations post, we were blessed with our first child who just turned three recently. We observe all the doctors, nurses and staff to be polite, respectful which is indeed needed considering the stress we go through. We wanted to complete our family post our, firstchild and we approached Dr Devika again. Multiple consultation session's post.we are now expecting our 2nd child in a short while. There are somethings money cannot buy, getting the right advise, following up with the right treatment is what you expect in Gunasheela. If you seek a 5star hospital with all the glamour associated with it, Gunasheela Basvangudi is not your place. However should you seek the right advise, don't look further. Our sincere thanks to Dr Devika and her entire team and wishing them the best best.

I am happy to share my review with Gunasheela hospital. My wife was conceived and took her to the hospital for the confirmation and We didn't encountered any issues/concerns during the time when I took my wife to the hospital/during the scanning.

My wife was treated under the guidance of Dr. N Ashwini who is really such a nice person and talked to us in a gentle manner and guided us in a right path and explained the conditon (s) what they were doing during the scanning and entire process. My wife was operated (C-Section) and delivered with a baby boy and we requested Dr. Ashwini to come during the C-Section process and she came at the right time. I thank Dr. N Ashwini for her help.

Coming to Scanning/Admin department, they were really good and helped us. Both the departments were maintained and established.

I thank Nurses/Sisters who were following up as per the instructions provided to them. They were excellent.

Coming to food department, it was good and cannot say awesome. Food was good when compared to other hospitals.

Coming to the pharmacy (Billing Section) need to be little quick and they were little slow. Need to be improvised.

About the Insurance department, they were really good and helped us with the insurance procedure. Really sorry I forgot the name of the lady who took initiative to fill the form. Thank you so much.

Total amount was little expensive and they could able to reduce it to 25-30K it would have been benifit. Hence I will rate 3.8.

High risk pregnancy support through exceptional expertise

We have had the misfortune to have multiple second trimester miscarriages. It was not just heart breaking but weighed so much on us that we didn’t want to go through another pregnancy. We had been to Cloud9 and Apollo cradle where we felt the corporate nature of hospitals and doctors we met were not paying adequate attention to the lab reports and missed early warning signs.
We consulted at Gunasheela (GSMH) after being referred to by trusted friends who have gone through similar difficult experience.

Due to our condition and age, we were looking for a high risk pregnancy specialist. Most doctors we met who claimed to be high risk specialist, severely lacked subject expertise and sometimes even the tools to triage, hence missing the opportunities to rescue the baby. In countries with advanced health care systems, there are screening for high risk pregnancies and appropriate attention is given to such cases. In India though, very few institutions are able to make this classification and provide early detection of high risk cases. GSMH is one such institution where doctors have expertise, diagnostics have tools and staff has know-how to deal with risky pregnancies.

When we met Dr. Ashwini N (who was in-charge of our case) she with guidance from Dr. Devika was able to give us a clear diagnosis, plan of action and inspired confidence. We were able to see how their diagnosis was based on similar cases they have treated in the past and challenges and milestones that lay ahead. The Doctor’s approach was upfront and direct; they explained the rigour needed for successful delivery. We can’t emphasise on the importance of mental preparation needed for the long haul for would be parents.

Gunasheela is a fertility and high risk pregnancy hospital. They are not a generic maternity hospital and certainly those who visit seek the expertise they have to offer. What is unique about this hospital is the end to end care right from conception to delivery which in our experience is rare in Bangalore. End to end care ensures the outcome is achieved with increased accountability and through collaboration between the doctors and would be parents.

Throughout our pregnancy journey we experienced the care, thoroughness and a well defined approach to the process. We have seen very complicated cases being successfully handled there with fellow patients. We loved the attention to details and the data oriented approach to decision making. In Gunasheela, the doctors minutely study the reports and take immediate corrective/pre-emptive actions. Can it appear overwhelming; sometimes, but is it instrumental in saving precious pregnancies, every single time.
And this is what we loved about this institution.

One key element which makes any hospital experience good is their Nursing staff. The nurses here are highly trained, have years of experience and are systematic. After being to many corporate hospitals, the nursing care, knowledge and professionalism we witnessed at Gunasheela was exemplary.

If Gunasheela team can do anything better, it is in the accessibility with WhatsApp/email queries etc and more enhanced technology in their online consultation/website.

Overall it was a very happy and great experience for us. We highly recommend GSMH to all those seeking expertise and additional care during their pregnancy journey. Kudos to Dr Devika Gunasheela for running such a great institution and filling a vital gap in risky pregnancy care.

One of the worst experiences I've ever had. The staff do not value time. I was the first patient for consultation and I reached hospital by 9am. But it took 2.45hours to attend to my file. Pathetic staff. They do not segregated work. And the doctors wander throughout the hospital that when you may be expecting them to call you. The doctor won't be available at her desk. And the most important thing is you would not have breakfast even. They make you wait for hours and already I'm getting late for office. I suggest all office goers to take a day's leave and visit the hospital. Else you have to put yourself through unnecessary tension.

I would never rate them even a single star, they loot u. I was in follicular study procedure already due to few suggestions I thought to give a try, they charged around 2.5 k for consultation, registration & a scanning procedure. Apart from this by the end of consultation they suggested lab tests worth 12 k and a small surgery which is not at all necessary which was worth 25 k to 30 k. I just got to know they are just playing with the anxiety we have. So just paid the initial 2.5 k and we came out. Even receptionist (billing counter) there would not leave u until u pay for the next procedure. I strongly suggest to not even step into this hospital.

My wife had a gynaecological problem that needed immediate surgery. My first love no doubt was and has always been Gunasheela Hospital, Basavanagudi for various reasons. I was a student and an intern in Vani Villas Hospital under Dr. Gunasheela some 50 years ago and had the honour of seeing her work very closely. The respect and love to Dr. Gunasheela continued when my first and then the second one was born in Basavanagudi in their hospital in 1978 and 1980. Just as I said it is a home away from home for me. So in 2004 my grandchild was born. My extended family became fans of Dr. Gunasheela and staff. It became a rule than a choice that anyone expecting a child goes to only Dr. Gunasheela's hospital. The chain continues and now after more than 40 years I am back. Though I miss my dear doctor Gunasheela I was surprised that a perfect replica in the form of Dr. Devika Gunasheela is incharge and things have not changed at all. Infact there's a lot of improvement in the whole atmosphere. My wife recovered fast. It looked as if she did not have any surgery at all. So normal she is. She was discharged the next day. The bill was most reasonable. My prayers to bless Dr Devika and staff. May the blessings as always be on the wonderful Dr. Gunasheela Hospital for the wonderful service and dedication.

One of the pathetic hospitals that one can encounter. Don't even care about what patient is suffering, they just try subdue and prescribe Medical tests which costs worth thousands. Pathetic hospital and pathetic treatment.

I dont know where to start. But writing this message with happy tears that i invested my life as bet. Either win with baby or loose with life. This was my mental status before visiting Gunasheela hospital. I Travelled many hopitals, many cities with final destination of Gunasheela Fertility center Basavangudi.cant say my health problems here but i can say that i am critical one. And based on my health problems and overcoming situation, I am 100% sure this hopital will give you perfect and suitable solution for future people who wants to depends on reviews. I must have to say my life long humble respect and obidience to Doctor Devika Gunasheela garu. She probably a doctor to patients but the way she supportrd me, encouraged me like my mother and god. In fact i dont have any words to express this feeling. She has best hospital team with super good care. Gunasheela hospital will definately find a fertility solution for you. The best treatment in town.from where we got our two precious gift.our sons. After struggling 11 years of infertility, Two time failed IVF, 2 times failed IUI, wasting lotsssss of money @ so called reknowned hospital like Fortis we came to know about Gunasheela.for us Devika mam is like goddess. Crystal clear advise.best treatment you will get for sure.we will always thankful to entire Gunasheela team. One thing have to mention that you have to be positive prior to go any treatment.

Cost is quite high. But its worth paying to solve sole parenting problem.

All the 4 star ratings they got is by giving patients some cheap ointment as gift and forcing to give 4 stars. Current management is money hungry and not professional. Final billing will surprise you with treatments never done. If at all you admit here, never pay advance amount. The rooms stink without any fresh air. They force to purchase unnecessary items from pharmacy. Very bad experience.
