Hanging Bridge

It was a great experience visiting Hogenakkal, we had freshly cooked food (we have to buy raw materials and they will cook it and will hand over it to us. We can serve it ourselves), saw the waterfalls and had a nice boat ride. We spend a lot of time seeing things, bridge and all.it was really a worthy trip

Must visit place. Nice view of Hogenakkal waterfalls and Kaveri River in between the canyons with separates the state of Tamilnadu and karnataka! Excellent views from the hanging bridge.

They don't allow tourist from other states through the gate at the hanging bridge. Corrupt policemen are sitting there. Even local people they allow by charging 500 rs

Coracle ride is a must. Very mesmerizing experience. Hanging bridge is closed now a days due to weakness. The sad part is that there's nothing else to do here. No decent place to stay and no shops or service centres. Development is almost nill. It can be developed as a very good tourism destination.

I couldn't able to take a photo here, but I saw a wonderful view point from the hanging bridge crazy feeling they charge 5 rs to allow inside the hanging bridge, but please be careful with the scams over the place I saw of people charging 15.k to 2k for boating der, the will make you too believe that they will show you Karnataka falls and tamilnadu fall's be careful with the scammers, even they ask you pay we will Cook for you they will tell you be careful with them.

The view is fantafabulous. Worth visiting, but disappointed after seeing the crowd during Sunday,

Only allowed to view from bridge not allowed to cross and they charge 5 rupees. From here we can have wonderful view of the people who comes for boat riding and other side falls view during weekend there will be crowned just have a visit and go for boat riding.

Nice place to see the view of the falls. The place.nearby the falls are highly polluted. The water here is very dirty.

Small hanging bridge which will get overcrowded during seasonal time. You can have a view of water flow from the bridge, charges to enter bridge is Rs5/person

Hogenakkal it's not place to visit if boating is not there. The hanging bridge is not well maintained. The steel robs are coated with greez and it is not mentioned causing visitor to touch them ruining their hands and even their dress.

I didn't have a good time there really disappointed

Wow.what a beautiful place. Good atmosphere. Fresh air. It is the Tamil Nadu-Karnataka border. A large number of people come to see this waterfall in the KAVERI River. A large number of foreigners and people from other states come here to take a bath and see the waterfall. · The oil massage is here. · Kutta can be reached by crossing the river and seeing the waterfall from close range.

After a long time visiting again but these two old guys are not allowing us that side as it is the border between the two states but letting only kannada people. Worst-u behaviour-u.

Be aware of grease on the rope.

People if you have sense and brain do not litter the garbages.

Nice weekend spot to visit from Bangalore. Approx 120 KMS. Best time to visit during monsoon or winter when water flow is high.

Weekend spot. Good view point for Selfie lovers.during rainy season its a wonderful place, you can see water from all the way or corner. Nice view. Entry fee is single digit. But really need improvement in cleanness.

Hogenakkal, I suppose, must have been quite the destination once. Unfortunately it is no longer so, but some of the beauty remains in the rushing river. If you can ignore the ugliness of the bathing area, this bridge is a worthy visit.

Such a wonderful place for touristers to visit must visit with friends are highly enjoyable and recommended too lot of funs and enjoyment while in water full seasons like july feb and all

Always crowded. Entry fee Rs. 5/-. Good view point. Who all loves to takes selfi surely enjoy this place.

The bridge hangs above the Cauvery River. The bridge gives a great view of the main falls of Hogennakal and the water streaming at high speed.

Nice bridge, it's in hoganekal area. We visited with friends. Had round boat ride. Bridge is nice the main waterfall can be seen from the bridge.
