Don’t go guys pls, worst experience I never had, totally they are spoiled the time and money. They are giving lemon rice as biriyani, not maintaining well campare to road food is better

You can try authentic biryani and chilli chicken. The flavours indulged in chill chicken is just finger licking good.

Who tasted hyderabad, ambur, thalapakatti, thalasrri biriyani- they don't like this. This is like pallaw rice.

A branch of a Famous Hotel boasting of visits by film actors and sundry. A non veg hotel with chicken and mutton palav as their speciality prepared in a traditional way with secret ingredients. Has many tandoori and Chinese type of foods as well. If you expect it to be a sophisticated place, you are wrong. A small place with a lot of waiting time, waiters are grumpy and with some intimidating looking customers as well. Reasonably priced and the taste is different from your regular biryani or palav.

Worst food, I took chicken palav with kalmi.
They gave ritha with palav which was spoiled and rice was not hot served. And kalmi was unexplainable, it was very dry.
And I was not even able to sit there very bad smell.

Food was good. But one problem was that the curd was spoilt and even after disputing about the same, we got the same spoilt curd again! I was very dissatisfied with the incident as it was my first choice to go to after coming back from Bangalore!

Hopefully they will improve!

Loved their chicken pulao, but the leg soup could have been much better, And chicken fry was average. I don't know why this change, i used to love their chicken fry.

Have been visiting this place for lunch right since our engineering Days, Over 10 years now. Half Rice and Kalmi was the standard order which still remains. Great mutton Pulao and chicken dishes. Friendly staff and Good Food. Would rate this place higher than the Original Hanumanthu Pulao at Mandi.
Update July 2023: They have reduced their standards, the Place has a bad stench, noticed it the last 3 times i visited recently, the cooking standards and cleanliness has drastically gone down. Hope it improves

Worst mutton palav ever tasted in this place, food taste is not upto the mark and they’re not maintaining the old trend and I doubt this is not the typical Hanumanthu hotel.

Worst food.rice wasn't boiled well. It was hard. And moreover all food was fully warmed. I'll never go to this place again.

I updated my review after two year because two years ago I had good experience because food was very good and service also very nice but now worst service and bad food they copied Hanumanthu pulav but i don't expect much tasty like hanumanthu pulav but it's worst taste chitranna is better than this and, these guys served me a chicken leg piece which deep fried in oil but I ordered kalmi these guys don't know what I kalmi, don't expect neatness sanitation, server is very arrogant total disappointed I won't suggest to anybody to go here

The first time I went to this place, the chicken pulao (or biryani) tasted very good. But during the next visits, the taste considerably decreased. The chicken wasn't sometimes cooked properly. They also use old newspapers as tissue paper, why would someone want to have black carbon ink on their hands after washing them? The waiters literally look like thugs who have directly come here from a tamil movie. There's a lot of room to improve, at least by first investing in proper tissues.

Chicken biryani, mutton biryani and Kalmi kabab was very nice. Staff are good and the place clean and good. Family restaurant and best for non veg food.

Building renovated but not the service, Cleanliness is very poor and pathetic that is why single star, food is OK not that great so that people wonder "Woow Hanumanthu Pulav Hanumanthu Pulav! ". I'm that person who visits very often from last 6 years with that hope that CLEANLINESS is improved but disappointed again.

I'm a regular customer of this restaurant from 6 years now and I feel the quality and taste of the food has drastically reduced. There is lot to get better both in terms of quality and taste of the food.

One of the famous hotel in mysore. Must visit if you want to try out new non veg hotels also recommended. Must try biriyani there it is awesome.

This place is really good for pulav both mutton and chicken, Kalmi and chilli chicken are best part. I personally like gee rice with mutton sherva.
I am a frequent visitor and really like this place.
I really like the taste and good for once a week pulov outing and not on a regular daily basis

Really i didn't like bhiriyani & chilli chiken, kalmi was super with chettny. I don't how its so famous for biriyani, 1st i was super excited to have hanumathu biriyan, after having i really felt bad.

Great mutton palav and chicken palav. Must try in mysore. A lot of difference in taste and is exquisite.
