When Sally our pet beagle became a mom of 5 Puppies, we were exhilarated with the sheer joy of seeing these furry babies play together & exhausted coping up with their relentless energy all at the same time! Fortunately, our wonderful neighbor Kavery who is already a proud owner of a boxer Zack and a cocker spaniel Leia was kind enough to take home two of our puppies, Thor & Scooby.
Kavery went the extra mile and got her cousin who is also a huge dog lover (and proud pawrent of a boxer Danny already) to adopt one more of our puppies -Chester.
Though Sally herself was the seventh doggie in over five decades of our life with canines, we were clueless in understanding how to balance & achieve peace with this triple doggie dynamics between the mummy Sally and the puppies Tom & Daisy!
Our good Samaritan Kavery was the one who introduced Deepthi to us as, she had engaged Deepthi to help her train Zack and was using her currently for Thor & Scooby. She was instrumental in getting Deepthi train Chester too.
The very first interaction itself between our little rowdies Tom and Daisy with Deepthi, the dog whisperer, was magical and we could see miracles happen!
Deepthi helped us to understand our pets better and see things from their perspective. What appealed the most were her gentle & positive ways of training with absolutely nothing harsh & aggressive.
She is a very patient listener & understands each family’s lifestyle and specific requirements before figuring out the training program.
She was kind enough to adjust her training schedule totally as per my erratic routine.
In our case, since I was shuttling between my parents’ place in Basavanagudi and our place on Convent Road, she was kind enough to visit both locations.
I had two specific concerns, one where I wanted the pets to behave and not jump on my in-laws who were aged & confined to the wheelchair & Another was to prevent these puppies from gaining stealth entry & stealing flowers from the puja room (where my parents would spend hours every morning)!
Deepthi visited both places & helped me to train and taught us ways to cope up with this.
She insists that we reward the puppies with words of consistent love and appreciation (besides treats!) and these help in the pets develop faith in us & strengthen our bonds with the puppies.
She wanted us to engage all three doggies in activities that can channelize their energy in the right way.
Since Deepthi was training all the five puppies of Sally, she was magnanimous enough to organize an exclusive puppies family reunion at her center. All three owners and 5 puppies showed up at her place. We & the puppies had the time of our lives. It was an emotionally enriching moment to see the puppies, fight, bond and play especially with her wonderful angels Cocoa and Vanilla.
Not just that, Deepthi also invited us to a birthday party of Troopy, another beagle at the center. The puppies learnt a lot from this socializing experience. So did we the Grand Pawrents.
Overall, this whole grand Pawrenting experience was made endurable and enjoyable only because of having Deepthi’s professional expert advice & support all along our journey.
Hence would undoubtedly, strongly recommend Deepthi for her pleasant nature, patience, domain knowledge and responsiveness.
Note; Of course, we Grand pawrents also have to do our homework and submit H. W.videos on time! Deeepthi is a tough task master!

Deepti is a fantastic trainer. Was very impressed with her sunny disposition, calmness, attitude, and ability to connect with our pack. She helped us understand how to navigate the training of our baby Beagles, and how to keep the older members of our pack engaged. Looking forward to the next session.

We have a boisterous 4 month old Beagle and an excitable 2 year old Boxer. You can imagine the chaos at home. Deepti, was brought in to train Chester (beagle). Deepti has a different approach towards training. She focuses more on mental stimulation and has a gamut of ideas on how to keep these hyper puppers busy and at the same time train them, while simultaneously guiding us on the process. Deepti ensures that we are part of the training process and makes the whole experience fun (I speak on behalf of Chester too). Also, thanks to her tips i don't have my furniture chewed on.

Deepthi is a very instinctive trainer. She has a really well set syllabus that she customises to every family and pup. She's patient and does fabulous job of training the family to handle the pup. Follow her instructions and advise and you cannot go wrong.

We took in Sherry when she was 47 days. She was a tiny little pup and as she grew, we wanted to train her to a few necessary habits. It wasn’t easy and Deepthi then came to rescue. She handled Sherry so tenderly and trained her in ways that Sherry had a lot of fun too. The best puppy training center and a wonderful trainer. She also hosts group activities with other pups and fun activities/ games at her center. The center is spacious and a great place for the dogs to play!

Even before I begin to write this review (which was long due), I’d thanks Deepthi for all here efforts and patience during training Bagheera!
I adopted Bagheera when he was just 3 months old and I immediately knew I had to train him for the amazing journey ahead. I started to contact my friends, did my online search for the best trainers in Bangalore. I had no clue about training dogs, but I knew that I wanted someone whose methods are dog friendly and reward oriented. And yes, I did message the BEST in the business, Shirin Merchant. Within 24 hours she suggested to contact Deepthi. Without wasting another minute, I called her and she spent 90 mins with me on the call going through issues and tips & tricks of training. This is even before we confirmed whether or not we would do this with Bagheera. Deepthi’s knowledge and love for dogs and Shirin’s suggestion was ENOUGH for me to decide to go with it. Her commitment on a particular dog is beyond amazing and just within 2 sessions working with Bagheera, he was totally a different dog. She definitely has gone beyond expectations and was always there to answers questions and gave amazing behavior tips. Also, another great thing about her training is her center for dogs, where she invited other client’s dogs and off course with her two AMAZING dogs (Coco and Vanilla) for socialization session. I doubt another trainer would or could have done this, which I think was so important for my pup at that age. With Deepthi, it did not finish after her sessions, she would follow-up for our practice videos and advise if we went wrong or another way to do it.

Today its been over 3 months and I’m still training and practicing with Bagheera and I cannot thank Deepthi enough for her support and dedication! Thank you Deepthi

As a first-time pet parent of an American Staffordshire Terrier (5 months old), I needed the expertise to guide me in the right direction to understand and tame the genetic behavior of my dog. Happy Puppers was more than what I needed to achieve this goal. I was offered remarkable services for the same. I did not have to worry about my dog getting emotionally attached to a trainer, as Happy Puppers don't completely take over the responsibility of training the dog, but teach the owners to understand each dog's needs and purposes so they can develop a healthy relationship with their pet while also getting them super disciplined. Their timings were very flexible and client-friendly.within a span of 40 days, I was able to identify and adapt to my dog's behavior and get him to follow numerous commands.most importantly I was able to tame my pupper's excitement levels which could be one of the most difficult things to achieve as a pet parent. My beagle Roku, a sprightly hyper pup was trained by Dipthi who happens to be a little dog whisperer. Gentle and loving she knows how to bring discipline into the canine’s lives by creating an environment where the pet and the pet parents are comfortable and at ease with each other. Her sessions were fun, exciting and very dog friendly.
She understands the family’s lifestyle and requirements before charting out a routine for her sessions.

Practical, patient, kind and extremely knowledgeable.

We came across Deepthi and Happy Puppers while searching for canine trainers close to our house. When we spoke to her on the phone for the first time, she spent an entire hour to understand what our issues were.

We desperately needed help with leash walking Bella, our then 1-year old Indie. We also needed assistance in helping us manage situations when Bella got nervous, agitated, scared and apprehensive. Bella was also very excitable around other dogs and we needed advice managing that too. (fellow Indie parents will nod their heads reading this:) )

We can safely and happily say that Deepthi provided us with the all the right advice, methods, tools and tips to manage all this. Her humour and sense of timing makes learning an engaging and enjoyable experience.

Amongst the innumerable tips and advice, i've listed a few below.

She suggested that we use a Double H Harness while walking Bella. This took care of half our problems and left Bella more comfortable and less stressed than the slip leash we were using. The tugging reduced considerably!

Deepthi's passion was evident when she suggested that she move our training sessions to 6-7 am and observe us walk Bella and provide advice and corrective measures. She was kind enough to accommodate our busy schedules.

She ensured that the first few sessions involved Bella interacting with her dogs - Coco and Vanilla. This ensured that Bella learnt positive and desirable traits through association with older and more disciplined dogs.

Deepthi also prioritises enrichment and engagement of our pets. She organises treks (human-friendly in terms of difficulty) for us to enjoy the outdoors with our canine babies. She suggests toys that keep pets engaged and provide them with the necessary mental stimulation.

Deepti is so approachable and has simple approach to solve some undesirable behaviour! My dog had the habit of jumping on visitors seeking attention and we tried different methods to correct that behaviour. But one simple approach from Deepti and we saw the result from the first attempt itself!

We were looking for a canine behavioural specialist and found Happy Puppers online. Overall, the experience was positive and Deepti helped us understand a lot of aspects about dog psychology and how to interact with our puppy. She was very helpful in areas such as obedience training, increasing patience, simple tricks and enrichment activities. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, some areas were difficult to tackle or teach to our pup such as separation anxiety and potty training. We feel some of these would have worked out better in person than through online sessions. Further, online classes require a lot of time and commitment, which is not always easy. But would definitely recommend Happy Puppers as an initiation course and if you are first time dog parents.

It has been a delight to work with Deepthi. A true professional, who encouraged us to approach this entire exercise holistically. Always thinking on her feet, quick to come up with alternate approaches if your pet was not comfortable or unresponsive to a specific way of learning.

Deepthi aunty made it fun and exciting to train my dog. We started getting help when my puppy was only 4 months and he is now very obedient and gets compliments on his behaviour all the time. Deepthi aunty was very patient with us and clearly directed us throughout the way while quickly responding to all our questions at all hours. Both my dog mowgli and I loved the experience and deepthi aunty herself and we look forward to keep meeting.

Being a first-time pet owner, I was very nervous about handling the various situations etc.when having a puppy at home! Deepthi was extremely patient in answering all our questions and also guiding us on the various possibilities / options when it came to training our puppy, Theo. She was firm with Theo in her training demands but at the same time very caring as well, and so Theo really enjoyed the training sessions! Deepthi's punctuality and commitment to her work are highly appreciable too! Our puppy also visited the Enrichment Centre and thoroughly enjoyed playing in this exclusive space for pets!

Our girl Nila, a rescued Indie took onto Deepthi as her favourite! Deepthi is extremely straight forward and will tell you what needs to be done without beating around the bush. She was super patient with Nila, who had a few behavioral issues. Nila always looked forward to her sessions with Deepthi. The icing on the cake is the brilliant enrichment centre that Deepthi runs at her place. Nila loves the place and also learnt a few tricks there! If you are looking for someone to help you with your doggo, I will vouch for Deepthi.

Nila had her socialization sessions with two super doggos Vanilla and Coco who are also a part of team Deepthi. There has been a lot of improvement in Nila.

I highly recommend Deepthi's training. She's very loving towards pups. My pup enjoyed and was very comfortable with Deepthi throughout his training. She is very punctual and a well-planned person.
I was facing lot of behavioral issues with my pup. She identified all of them and came up with appropriate solutions. I could see the results within two days. Her training center is a heaven for dogs. On the whole, it was a great experience. I'm thankful to her for all the training she provided.

My pet kushi who was just about 2 months when she visited the place was so happy. She almost enjoyed all the facilities there. She was sad that I dint not allow her to get into water. She learnt so many tricks there within no time. Happy that there’s a place open for us to take our pets to play.

Deepthi’s dog training services are highly recommended. We’ve been working with her for about 2 months, and as first time dog owners her guidance has been invaluable. Not only does she have a terrific understanding and communication with dogs. She also shows us humans how to do the same.

She is pragmatic in her approach, first addressing any issues we had with our pet, and then focusing on the basic building-block commands that we could build upon. From the beginning she made it clear that we had to put in the work as well!
