Disbursement is delayed by 10 days. Staff is not responding to calls at all. Customer care executive says technical visit is done from last 1 week and still branch is not disbursing the loan.hdfc has become harrasment bank now.

Hdfc JP nagar, Sarjapur and Koramangala has disbursed the loans of other owners in the same property but kb road is not doing it. They love to do harrasment. Even I wrote email to their state head and he is also not responding.

Such a pathetic bank, don't take loan from kb road branch, rather prefer SBI else you will also suffer.

Always prefer upcoming banks who are hunger enough to acquire new customers. HDFC is even worse than SBI.if you are visiting this branch make sure you have atleast 2-4 hours time. No one even cares, you are given with token and that’s it.

HDFC home loans is the worst for existing customers.

They have active telephone lines and representatives who will reach out and contact till you apply for a loan.

Once the loan is applied it is near to impossible to contact them. They do not reply to emails, the service line does not work properly, they put you on hold for hours and they never respect existing customers in any way or make things easy for them.

Worst experience in closing and retrieving documents from HDFC. Please DO NOT fall for their schemes on getting you to apply. They will be nice only till the loan application is processed.

There is this guy called Chandru who is an executive please do not take any loan from this guys he is very arrogant and he asks u to run around him for the loan approval and disbursement…his manager Sunjay said he will help me but no response… please find an excective from the builders end…

Not at all good service. The documents already came to other cabin but she is least bothered nd talking to other agents. She told to wait for 10 min, but she waited us till half an hour. Taking so much of time to give the documents.

I had been to bank for collecting the documents post pre closer of the home loan account. The documents came from mumbai to banglore and date was fixed for collection. It took only 5 minuted to handover and sign. The staff are helpful, patient, cooperative, The experiance was very good From rececption to exit. The token system to attend the customers one by one in orderly manner was indeed effective and efficient system no rush no confusion you can wait till your turn comes. Loved it.

Do not take home loans from HDFC ever.
While getting the home loan, they are quick, but hide all the pain points. They say everything is possible online, but for foreclosure you have to visit their home branch only.
And prepayments are such a hassle. You have to send email, then wait for some days for them to respond, then pay online, that too only one at a time. All other banks have app based prepayments.
And that too there is a limit on the amount you pre pay in a year online. You have to visit branch for additional prepayments.
Then to even get foreclosure letter they are making us wait for more than a week now.

HDFC tries to make the Loan closure process as complicated as possible so that customers keep their loans open. You have ton mandatorily take prior appointment and that too on weekdays only. Whereas for loan applications, you can go to any office, even on Saturdays, without any appointment! Such a hassle for loan closure!

Don't understand why such negative reviews. I had gone there for some documents, the procedure was seamless and easy. Go there early, around 10: 00 so that you get parking, otherwise you will have to go to the nearby Orion mall or elsewhere to park your car. You will be given a token and you will be attended immediately. The receptionist was very polite and so was the person who attended me. Documents department is in the first floor and they have more than 5 counters, so it will be fast.

Visited on 7th Dec 2022 around 10: 30am for balance loan transfer payment on the 2nd Floor. Overall it took around 30mins to complete the process of which form filling is 15-20mins activity. The madam on the counter 2 was very helpful as I didn't bring my cheque book and she promptly arranged for online payment in 2mins. Parking could be an issue especially for 4Ws so try to reach a bit early. For my 2W I could find the spot easily and even the security guy was helpful. Overall very good experience

Very poor communication, HDFC did not inform the documents that needs to be carried to collect Original Documents (submitted during Loan approval)
So made me visit couple of times. Was in HDFC by 10.30 am and was second as per token. Yet it took more than 45 min when called to the counter. Feels like more staff do not mean quick results.
Overall Very Bad experience.

They gave an appointment for 11.45am and after that made me wait for over one hour. What's the point of giving appointment? !
This isn't the first poor experience. Their systems and customer service leave a LOT to be desired, and corrected. What's worse is that in so many years, their ear for feedback and will to change is negligible!

Well.saw various reviews here and did not expect anything great. My own experience with HDFC way back in 2013 was nothing great when I was trying for a loan (then HDFC wanted me to get 'de-notification' order and I could not explain HDFC that when my site was not notified how can I get that). All went well and another bank helped me to get my first house.
But last year I was compelled to approach HDFC as the property was already approved etc. Thanjs to my retirement benefit, last fortnight I could close the loan. One acknowledge cum loan closure document mentioned in fine print that I shall collect the document on 1st jun (today) The process went extremely nice. No crowd at all. At least 15-20 counters are there. My job cotuld be completed in 10minutes flat. Thanks to HDFC.
Another point here.there is robot taking the feedback and notifies everyone who have given less score, to give the complaint in a particular address. Why not the robot be programmed to take this info and automate it to copy paste that in that address? Fun to look at those message.

While the interaction with the staff was good, you will have tough time finding the parking space and waiting for your turn to complete the process. The best option is to come in a cab and leave in a cab to save time.

I have been trying to get an email response from HDFC for a week now, the customer care don't know anything and give incorrect direction. There customer service really need improvement. I have been sending multiple reminder for a simple request and no response till today. HDFC online support doesn't exist.

Worst experience getting a home loan in hdfc. They have no idea what the procedure is. Every 2 days new requirements pop up. We are running after them for the last 2 months. Government agencies work better than these people. Special mention to bank manager Mr. Hruday and agent Mr. Vinay. They are the most useless people ever. Right after giving us a surprise with a new requirement, they stop responding to calls. Its been a pain working with this bank. Home loans from SBI is so systematic and quick. I am regretting going for HDFC.

They need to learn basics of customer support. If HDFC is serious about customer relationship and experience definitely need to review this place. They disown any discrepancies, gaps or communication gap of their own branches in other places. One of the senior lead says “we are just doing a courier support. Whatever issues you have with other branch deal directly there”. Very bad experience in dealing with them, NEVER EVER GO with HDFC.they have a long way to reach BLUE from the current RED.

Worst bank and worst service.there is no coordination between executives and staff.if you visit the branch they take their sweet time to complete the process and resolve your issues. Also, they will give excuse and start blaming the executives.if you are choosing this branch you are doing mistake same like me. I would suggest to choose alternative banks / branch

I got a mail from hdfc that you can collect your document on 3rd Feb but when i called customer care on 2nd feb they told that they checked with documents team and mentioned there is no oppointment!

Worst service of HDFC Homeloan Kasturba road branch. We visited to branch to convert Loan intrest rate to current charges. They told they will send a lik to email to pay the conversion fee to change. No any response and no contact info. Response also worst.

I had fairly good service while collecting my documents after closing the home loan account. The customer care department had sent us an email about 2 weeks back mentioning the appointment date and time to collect the documents. We had visited accordingly and within roughly 20 minutes we had our documents and NoC handed over to us. Staff we interacted with was polite, professional and diligent. The workflow to collect document was: you register at the ground floor, take a token, go to the first floor, and once called based on the token number go the specified counter. At the counter, you provide the ID and the staff hands you over the documents and NoC.
One thing I would like to see the branch improves is the "social distancing" measures - considering the pandemic situation. I couldn't see any evidence where the social distancing was strictly imposed.

I had gone there to collect my home papers after completing the loan. The staff was helpful & I was able to leave from there in an hour after collecting the documents. Staff was courteous.

Ok. Had been to Kasturba road office on 18.08.2021 to collect property document post loan closure. We were given a token and waited for 25 minutes. Handing over the document and guidance was smooth process. Can improve further on customer waiting time, issuing foreclosure letter, resolution of queries with better turnaround time, can do video call verification with 2nd applicant instead of having co-applicant along with applicant in office to collect property document.overall good experience.thank you

Pathetic experience! On 4/8/21 I gave the foreclosure cheques, till 18/8/21, they did not even get time to close my loan. Just intentionally to buy the time, they have stopped my EMI process and instead after a week of time of EMI cycle (10/8/2021) sending me online payment link. Very cleverly they are escaping the Govt circulation of returning the property documents within 15 days of closing the loan. Writing numerous mails, grievance failing to wake up these monsters

Regret for taking home loan from HDFC Ltd. We have tendered the DD for closure of loan account on 6th of Nov 2020 at the Kasturba branch. The same as still not got accepted and processed because of software glitches in the meanwhile I am forced to pay interest for a period of more than three days now. We are following up with Mr. Madhu. A and Mr. Bhaskar and getting only assurances without any concrete answers on the resolution time.
The delay is costing us money everyday. HDFC will you accept a few days of late payment of my EMI due to technical glitch from my side. Iam sure you have penalties, procedures and processes for customers, what about the financial loss that you cause to the customer. I am sure it doesn't matter to you.

Do not take loan from HDFC ever. They treat you well when you go seeking a loan, but once the loan is taken then you are at their mercy. They don't return the complete documents once loan is closed.the tony respond too.and the website grievance redressal mechanism doesn't respond.

I been there to collect documents after foreclosure of home loan,

The executive at counter literally rushed me out without letting me going through the documents list properly.
No explanation on document list, Moreover no information regarding the queries raised.
For ex. I asked when will be cibil score gets updated? Ans: it will get updated but no inputs on when or how long it will take.

HDFC Ltd could do better job on educating the executives on people management.

Very rude and unfriendly staff. Today Mr. Madhu from this branch was assigned to help us and provide solution for our home loan queries. This person was not at all friendly and welcoming. Sitting on a customer facing seat staff is supposed to be cheerful and supportive but this person was giving expression and response as if we are wasting his time. I don't understand why you don't behave the same way when you come for selling your loans.

Absolutely no respect for customer’s time. Even after having scheduled appointment at 2 pm got my number after another 2 hr wait at 4 pm.
Best part: I was here to collect my documents which were supposed to come to this branch from Delhi, after waiting for 2 hrs in the branch I was told that they had not received.
So finally my half day was wasted in this.

Found parking inside the compound, lucky though. Mr. Srinivasan the staff who processed my papers was very helpful but the same cannot be said for Mr. Raghavender who was very rude for even a small question.
HDFC needs to remember that it is a public facing company and such acts needs to be corrected else the arrogance will fail the organisation.

Very UNPROFESSIONALLY handled Office. Most Customer "UNFRIENDLY".
I was made to wait for a month and half to get my Property Documents after closing my loan amount. The Phone no provided.nobody answers.
The concerned Person was extremely arrogant in his behaviour, indicating that he was doing some kind of favour to me, by giving me back my OWN Documents a month and half after full payout of Loan Balance to HDFC.

Worst experience I ever had in my life. If there is -100 rating, I would have given. They took nearly 8 months to just give final decision transfer my existing home loan to this so called bank. They would have told me in the beginning itself, that my existing home loan documents couldn't meet their so called bank standards (still not convinced, how come their standards are so different when I got loan for the same property from different bank). They simply dragged and wasted my time. The staff was irresponsible, never respond on time and never take action on their field executives. Beware of Mr. Prathap Krishnan who works as executive/agent, he does not have knowledge and I wasted nearly 25K for the documents, abroad Notary, courier fees etc as I am currently staying abroad. And moreover, I wasted my time on follow ups.

I am not sure about other reviews on phones calls and rude behavior, as I didn't experience those.

I did speak to them on the phone to make sure my property documents are ready to collect on the time I got their appointment. They checked and confirmed.

With the token system, my only feedback is on the wait time. I could see a whole lot of agents were just free but not attending waiting customers.

Then, this place hardly has any parking space for 4-wheeler. It's not convenient at all.

A terrible firm to do business with. Their attitude is callous; they have lost my original sale agreement of my flat which was handed over to them when the home loan was taken. Simply unbelievable. Please take a loan from them if you want to loose your original documents. They also keep you waiting for hours for each and everything and when you have a problem, you can keep sending them emails and they never respond.

I feel something wrong with management, HDFC executives is not responding to emails or phone calls. So i have visited HDFC office to meet legal department for home loan quires. But i couldn't meet here after 2 visits also.they give the reason that she is busy with other projects.later i came to know that she will come to office and will seated only for 30 min in her cabin later no one know where she goes? Still my file is pending due to her.it is only balance transfer home loan. Now its almost 3 most from the date of submission of documents.looking for escalation this issue but unable to find right person or manager of HDFC.

Really wrost than any other bank.

Pathetic service, idiot employee, no value of customer, i have been following up for my LOD since 20 days, and these idiots have not yet delivered to me, whenever i call these guys says in 30 will send in your mail id but buggers have not sent. Then told sent through Bluedart Courier one week back you should have received but when asked for tracking number they said will send you in evening, but so far aftr following up since more than 10 days they have not given. HDFC is worst for HomeLoan dont go with such WORST bank.

I would rate NO STAR if system allows to rate this Branch, getting online through call itself is highly difficult, surprisingly if you get connected then for the query the default answer is will call you back, but they do not even respond to emails. Worst service I have seen with this Branch and Bank.

Worst branch. For Home loan transfer I tried followup with customer care through email and call.these guys are least bothered to respond email or call. The foreclosure letter and LOD should suppose to be issued in 1 week, they have not given me till date and it is 3 weeks now.
