Peaceful place, with decent rooms, wonderful workstation ideal for 6-8 member teams with good internet, wonderful service and great food.

It's truly a pet's paradise to put it the right way ️
They have ample space for our fur babies to sniff & explore.

They have a well fenced boundary so there isn't much of a chance for our pets to wander away far. You can just leave them carefree and they will have an absolute gala time.

The host Andrew is a gem of a person. All our basic needs are well taken care of. The food is basic but it's nice & home cooked. They have a fresh water pool - pls check before if it's functional.

A small side note - To humans who do not like pets, you should either learn to coexist when you visit such places or choose to select other alternatives.

Personally I loved this place for my pet and want it to be pet friendly & not turn into a pet tolerant one.

I had a great time. The staff was extremely welcoming and kind. I would whole heartedly recommend Hide and Teak.

I was seriously disappointed with the food and the plumbing in the place. Our food was so minimum, breakfast was 8 idli and chutney with 2 boiled eggs for two people. I had to ask for fruits like banana. Snacks in the evening was instant coffee with 5rs good day packet, if they felt like they would give mixture. The entire trip felt so transactional and like we were imposing ourselves. The plumbing and sanitation Wass terrible, no water pressure and everything was barely functional.

Amazing place, amazing people! Hide and Teak is a hidden gem near to Bangalore where you’re in the middle of nature, beautiful and kind people from surrounding villages and where you can enjoy of delicious food, wildlife, local festivals and have good talks! It was much more as I aspected and I’m definitely coming back! Thank you all!

If you are looking for just staying and coming back it’s a good place, no camp fire even after request, a decent place

When we visited this place and unfortunately there was a whole day power outage and hence they couldn't fill the pool and we couldn't use it. But the most appreciative part is how they sorted this situation and made sure they gave us what we wanted. We were frustrated at first but with their hospitality and problem solving capability we were impressed and by the end of the day we all were happy. It was a memorable trip and thanks to them. Bon fire was difficult due to the weather, it had rained the previous day but they made sure we got that too in a different place within the campus. They took us on a small trek nearby which was wonderful! Finally I thank them for making it happen in spite of all the hurdles and difficulties they faced.

Just loved the ambience, cottages set amidst lush green farms, it was a perfect getaway for our family. Food had homemade flavours to it. Thank you for making our stay memorable

Pathetic! I spoke to the so called boss and asked him if I can come for lunch and the boss said yes u can and confirmed.after riding for 1 hour I got to know that the boss has not informed his staff hence they cannot serve me lunch! No basis courtesy! Will not recommend

This place is heavenly. The food will blow your mind. Rooms are cozy. Andrew the manager, will take care of all your agreed requirements.

Great food, great hospitality and a wonderful location. Neat and clean, cannot find anything to complain about. Be prepared to go slightly off-road for around 2km to reach the property.

Hide and Teak is a hidden gem tucked away in a farm land close to Bangalore. My first visit the family was absolutely amazing. Everything at this farm stay is so well thought of. The hospitality is par excellence. Staff is well trained, the rooms are well done, big and super comfortable. The food is simply outstanding. And the best part of Hide and Team are the hosts Pankhuri and Sunil. They ensure you and your family have a great time. It’s a home closer to home.

A easy 2 hour drive from the city to this place. Staff are helpful, kind and prompt.
Few items but tasty choice of food.
Trek to nearby Shivappa betta was good.
The owner family and staff were there, hence felt safe too.

Fantastic stay at Hide and Teak! Planned a few days but I’m still here. You can easily spend a week over here. It’s an amazing team that runs the farmstay, I feld really welcome and they took care of me in all ways. Andrew and Anikka manage the place and take great care of you. Anikka cooks delicious meals, never ate so much ;-). The owners, Sunil and Pankuri with their 2 kids came over from Bangalore. Sunil can tell you all about the state and surrounding. Nothing is too much, they all try to make your stay as pleasant as you wish. Their local friend and guide Sidha took me to beautiful sceneries and local festival. And Sunil is still busy finding an olifant for me ;-). Thanks guys, you have a great, relaxing, friendly, beautiful place over there. I will certainly be back! Keep up the good work! A wonderful place to take your family to give them an experience of life in a farm at the same time equiped with all the modern amenities in the compound.
All city children must be taken here to show them an actual village around the compound.

We celebrated our new year with friends, place was good and food was amazing (they use homemade spices). Best place to spend time with friends and family.

5 star to the hospitality, enjoyed every bit of stay.

4 Exceptionally clean & big rooms with bath and private green balconies attached. Neat dining area with simple home made food (Veg and Non-veg). Chlorine free fresh water Pool. Big campfire place and more. A great place for family and Private outings.

A good option for a weekend trip. Sunil the owner of property is very friendly and takes care of the needs. The care taker Andrew and his wife are polite and takes care of the guest well.
The barbque time with music is really good:) Would sugges chicken bbq. Veg bbq needs improvement. We went there with our 1 year old baby and our small demands for baby food (khichadi/ hot water) was well taken care by Andrew. Lunch and breakfast was really tummy filling and delicious. Dinner for vegeterian would be improved. Overall a good recommendation and worth it

Perfect place to relax your weekend. Food is very good. Suite rooms were clean and cosy. Andrew and his team made sure to provide good service.

Awesome place with an even awesome host. Andrew and team who's taking care of the property are very sweet and took care of us really well. Giving 4 rating as bathroom amenities can be improved. Rest are really good. Food is the main highlight. 2km trek to near by hill for the breathtaking view. Must visit.

We had such a lovely experience at Hide and Teak. Lovely place to stay with kids. Open and safe spaces for the children to move about freely and explore. Excellent food, amazing barbeque, tastefully done interiors and lovely hosts. Children enjoyed the pool and feeding the rabbits at the property. We went trekking to a nearby hillock and the views were breathtaking. I would highly recommend this place.

It was much needed trip after being stay inside the locked door due to Covid! Last week where we (family of 4) went all together and enjoyed the moment there.so about property, its a new property, very well organized, fantastic infrastructure and design, well equipped with best of the accessories, big rooms and connected sitting area!
There were not much activities though but the naturally surroundings keep you in peace out of the city crowd and noises!
All went very well, except the Food which added little disappointment to our happy moments, team need to really work on the quality and quantity of food, especially when its been communicated well in advance about the no of guests and choice of foods.
But hats off to Andrew, who tried to arrange all that was possible at his level best and take the feedback positively and tried to improve the taste of food.so positive suggestion to the management to please work on the food as if there is nothing more to do at the property and food doesn't make you feel happy when you put the first bite in your mouth, then people will not look for this venue as an first option:)

I have been meaning to check this place out and since it recently re-opened after being closed due to the current pandemic I finally headed out there on the 6th of August along with my wife & our furry baby Charlie and along with some of our friends. We all had a great time, the location is nice and private surrounded by Hills and the property is well designed to actually be called pet friendly. The host and owner of the property, Sunil is a genuinely nice guy and his little team headed by Andrew kept us well fed, do ask Andrew to do his chettinad chicken ; absolutely delicious. Will definitely visit them again soon with my parents and extended family. We visited as guests but left as friends. Thank you team Hide and Teak!

We stayed there for 2 nights with our dog. Sunil was an excellent host and we liked the place a lot. Best spot according to me was the private sit out where we spent most of our time as a family without TV or phone.
The food has to be mentioned- it's good. Andrew and his wife were very accommodating wrt food.
I would highly recommend the place!

We stayed for 2 nights with 2 young kids. Excellent rooms and facilities around. We had barbecue for one night by the pool which the kids loved. Hosts and staff were welcoming, and helped us with local travel info as well. Will definitely visit again!

The place had great ambiance and it could have been a perfect outing but sadly the food was a major disappointment. All 3 stars are dedicated to the place and the feel it provides. Owner was friendly and helpful, but the 8 course meal part was a bigg bluff. If you are looking for an outing at this place would recommend you to get in touch with owners directly rather than any third parties.

A very beautiful place for a weekend getaway, very well maintained place, peaceful, enjoyable.
If there is any room for improvement it could be food. But the hospitality by Mr. Sunil was really great. This place would be a good recommendation for anyone who wants to get out Bangalore for couple of days.

A very quiet, simple getaway. Ideally for small family group. You could book up the whole place. It has 4 well appointed rooms, good wholesome food freshly prepared. Lovely surrounding for a nice walk/trek.

Our stay at Hide and Teak was lovely! We arrived and were shown around the property and checked into our rooms immediately. The rooms are very tastefully decorated and each one is different. The bed was super comfy and the room also came with a sofa cum bed - which was perfect for our 2 little ones! Every room has its own little patio which was great once the kids fell asleep. Breakfast was good and a special mention to the tea. I might have finished the whole flask:). Kids enjoyed the pool. And the hosts were absolutely lovely! Looking forward to doing this again.

Had a ball with the kids in the pool, grooving to music and walking off into the wilderness with looming hills in sight.

Rooms are exceptionally comfortable.

The best weekend experience we had in a long time. We enjoyed the lovely company of the hosts along with good home cooked food and a good tour of the whole countryside passing through the local silk worm farms, natural roads surrounded by mountains.
Enjoyed a chilled out music session with the rhythm and bass guitars around. Mr. Sunil is great company for some classic CCR, Beatles, Dylan et al songs.
Can’t wait to go back!

Ambience is good. Food is really bad and not worth the money. Especially for vegetarians, recommend not to order veg BBQ as they just give you burnt capsicum.

We found this place when we were enroute to BR hills. It's a small but excellent place with lots of birds (parrots, sparrows, cuckoo within the property). The rooms are large and some of them have large sitouts with garden. The evening ambience was fantastic with dimly lighted dinner halls, walk ways and an entertainment place with an electric guitar, games, library and TV to spend some time alone with yourself or with your partner. The walk around the property in the evening also leads to nice open spaces with small boulder rocks to climb and explore with 360 degree views

We had a most wonderful stay, away from the city at Hide and Teak. The place, the rooms, the host and the food were all amazing. The high light was our 4 year old guide, son of Pankhuri and Sunil, owners of the place who took us around the Area. He knew the whole landscape around so well. Its a really great place to unwind and relax. Highly recommended!

Love the open dining area and the cozy lounge. It was easy to keep the kids occupied.

There were lovely places to trek in the vicinity. Kids super happy with all the open space and delighted to see goats and cows strolling by. Beautiful parrots and numerous birds around.

Love the place! We enjoyed a weekend stay with our 3 little kids, who were busy in the outdoors, but always within eyesight. The rooms are gorgeous. So is the outdoor dining area. The place is the perfect blend of rustic and comfort. We'll be back.

Peaceful. That is the biggest takeaway for me. Wake up with the morning sounds of the fields, take a gentle stroll up the nearby hillocks, eat some delicious food and feel your mind slow down to a more gentle pace. Highly recommended for those needing a quick break from the "urban jungle".

We loved our stay in this lovely peaceful home! Hide and Teak is the perfect place to relax, recharge and enjoy and the location couldn't be any better. Very clean and comfortable, it felt like a little home away from home, our morning and evening walks was so pleasant allowing us to get recharged for a small trek during our stay!

Within 90 odd mins we were in a rural setting. The place is nicely designed.
Food is prepared with locally sourced items. It is nutritious and tasty.
Hosts are warm and caring.

A charming farm stay that has a rustic ambience with modern amenities. We spent a day here and enjoyed the food and warm hospitality from the hosts Sunil & Pankhuri. Quiet and peaceful surrounding, outdoor dining area (endless cups of tea along with breakfast, delicious lunch, snack & BBQ -thanks to the in-house cook), a beautiful semi open lounge area with TV, and Karaoke / music system for guests to enjoy in the quiet evening time. The kids enjoyed the pool and refreshments. We also hiked to a nearby hillock to enjoy the sunset view. Hide and Teak is a must visit if you are looking for a quick weekend getaway from the busy city life. Kids will thoroughly enjoy the stay and neighbouring farms. The spacious room with a beautiful private sit out area is also another feature that ensures you rest after enjoying all the activities during your stay.

One of my favourite places around Bangalore and it is just 1.5 hrs away from my place! Beautiful place, great food and lovely hosts!

We (wife and 2 grandsons) had a most wonderful getaway last weekend at Hide & Teak. It has a serene location – 2 Km off the main road and surrounded on all four sides by fields growing crops & vegetables. The leisurely strolls along the dirt roads were refreshing, with boulders on one end and numerous fields on other.

They serve simple home cooked food, which was a pleasant change. And the dining area is such that you can sit there all day to enjoy the pleasant breeze. Our grandsons came face to face with farm animals and were quite astonished to see familiar veggies in their plant stage.

Will highly recommend a visit to Hide & Teak for a relaxed rural stay.

The location is so serene that if you love nature, it can become a getaway you might take every few months. We took a couple holiday and then a family holiday at the Hide and Teak, and the experience was truly surreal. Fields around, wholesome food, cosy comforts, and air that you want to deep breathe and hold. Pause. It is a convenient 2 hour drive from Bangalore and the hosts are very hospitable. Thank you, Pankhuri and Sunil! You guys are wonderful!

Edit: If you like animals, pet the village dogs outside the property and they would be your beloved companions on your walk along the fields and the hillocks.

A luxurious place must say, the rooms look into the fields, its hard to believe the place is just a drive away from Bangalore

Absolutely loved it here.the kids had a great time being outdoors n in the pool.we spent most of our time in the dining area with our friends.it's a lovely set-up.there was good food, we had a comfortable stay and wonderful hosts.we did a nice trek early morning breathing in fresh, unpolluted air.we will definitely be going back there again.
