Very good place to learn and watch about the behaviour of clocks. HMT is a pride of 20's and it has a very good mechanism explained in the museum. Very nice place to learn how even a small ticking watch can also operate for every second. The minute functionalities and the minute operators behind it are a complete bliss. Museum entry fees is about 30rs very reasonable and most knowledgeable

I have visited this store for the first time. It’s an amazing experience. I have seen huge hmt watch collection at one place. I felt so exited. I searched for janata, pilot and Kohinoor. But no luck. There are very new watch collections available at this place. Few are automatic and most are quartz. There is good Ladies watches collection. Price of watches are moderate. When you compare it’s ok.
Museum gives a tour of HMT history. Adult fees ₹30. Children above 6 years ₹20. Differently abled (handicapped) free entry. Parking fee ₹20. There is a HMT watch shop as well. Perhaps children will like to play in the play-area which has swing, slide etc. Everything is well maintained and kept neat & tidy.
Feeling nostalgic. Revived many memories of my life. Though HMT is not active now but this is the best company I have ever known. Closest to my heart. Lovely place to be with your family and friends.
Do visit this place if you want to get a new experience and time away from your daily routine. You will love the ambiance and atmosphere of the place.
You can even buy HMT watches as souvenirs for your family and friends. The cost is not that much its very economic and designs are just amazing
Good quiet place! 2 wheeler 4 wheeler parking available! Hardly any crowd. Tractor ride was not available as it was under breakdown. The museum is well kept and neat. Good place to visit with kids. Kids area has quite a few equipment.
Visit this place if you want to share a piece of glorious history of public sector enterprise. However, was a little sad to see that many of the iconic watches and other items on display are in dilapidated condition. The audio visual aids are also not working. No one to guide us. But over all a nice peek into the past.
We visited HMT Heritage Souvenir shop for watch purchases. There are lots of varieties available, including Stellar and Supreme series in mechanical. Kohinoor and Pilot were not in stock, but the sales person confirmed it would be available in weeks' time. Also, quartz watches for men and women in all ranges were available. Many of these watches are showing out of stock on HMT website, but you can get them at this outlet. The sales person is really good and customer oriented. Given lots of information and sufficient time to show all variety. It's a very pleasant place and must visit.
HMT brings back nostalgia about the times when India was just coming out of its shell as a manufacturing hub. Their watches reminded of various events festivals and people. Each Indian owned and worn a HMT watch. The museum is well kept. There is a tractor ride which others have pointed out. The various watches commemorating various occasions are neatly displayed. A must visit for watch enthusiasts and for tourists generally touring around. Happy watching.
A very informative place for anyone who is interested in learning about machines and watches. The place walks you through the history, evolution and development of Hindustan Machine Tools. Amazing set of watches on display. Very affordable prices and also includes a tractor ride around the place. A gem of a place
I visited the Sovenier shop and purchased 8 watches. It was a nostalgic moment. However later found two of them to be defective and exchanged them. Make sure your purchases are working.
There are few places which would take you back to good old memories. HMT heritage just does that. Very neatly maintained and preserved. It's a must go for anyone above 2 years. Yes, there is a cool park for kids and people above 34 years will align with the historical heritage this place is. I would recommend you to take your father here and enjoy 2 to 3 hrs of the day.
Such a gem of a place hidden in plain sight. I have stayed in the vicinity for the past 6 years and never knew a place like this existed. Very unique museum showcasing the history of the HMT industry. A very elaborate display of their watch making components and all the models they have ever produced. Totally isolated with a lovely children's park. You can easily spend an afternoon here. There is also a HMT watches outlet on the campus.
This center details the journey of our beloved HMT. Not just ಕೈ ಘಡಿಯಾರಗಳು (wrist watches) but also machine tools, Tracters etc. Working models, display of the tiniest part in our watch is very interesting. Educative place and very inexpensive.
If Indian watchmaking was a religion then this would be sacred grounds. Very beautiful museum, there is shop in the premises that sells hmt watches, both mechanical and quartz. If you are interested in mechanical watches and the horological history of watch manufacturing in India, then this is the place.
Good museum to visit if you are a watch lover and if any of your family member owned HMT watches then please take them along. You can take back home a watch as a souvenir. There is a tractor ride also. Worth visiting with your family.
