Too much hassle just to get a quotation!

Just sharing my experience at Homelane HSR Layout:
- Tried booking appointment through app- failed with error
- Made an appointment through call centre and shared all details
- Reached the centre on time - nobody knew about this appointment - had to wait for 40 mins, had to share everything again.
- Didn’t receive any quotation for 2 weeks - I was asked to make an appointment and visit again.
- Booked and confirmed with Nikita Gangesaria appointment for today 1pm. When I’m about to reach the centre, I confirmed again for the second time and she said she’s busy somewhere else and asked me to come after 2.

If you give so much hassle in the first step, before even taking my money, I can only imagine what you would do after taking it. Not recommended!

Hi Homelane, when are you planning to complete my project.

[Update] this is not about the ticket that I raised, this project is left in an incomplete state since July and since than there is no update or ownership from HL Project team on the replacements and fixing the pending issues. Waiting for your update.

Would not recommend Homelane. Never trust them by their words. Mine already crossed 33 days and still they need a week of time to complete production. Have done my 100% payment as well but they are not even responding to the calls. Very worst experience. Had plans to move to the new home asap but homelane spoiled every plan.

Not happy with service, promised as 10 years warranty and now asking 750 per visit, having issues just after one year.

Excellent for budget home designing. Uddeepta, Sheena and Abhilash were very helpful in going to the minute levels of the design and gave ample scope for input.

Walk through for design was pleasant meet with Miss. Roselina. Happy with explanation and design consultation.

They will make lot of promises until you pay the money. Once the money is paid all the promises are thrown into the thrash.
Before signing the agreement the sales person said I will be paid rent if project is not delivered within 45 days but once contract was signed and project was getting delayed one of the employee said "oh it's not easy to claim for compensation" although my project picked up the pace and did not apply for it.

I requested for Bill's with GST detail but they have not provided it yet even after requesting it for weeks now.they keep saying it's an back end issue. I suspect there is something fishy happening as GST bill can be provided on paper in writing

Having said above the field manager was very nice and accommodated all the extra request such as painting, cleaning etc & the product was of decent quality

overall product is good, back office services are horrible

Also once you receive the money none of your team member provides any updates.the fake promises are made we will give you every day update for project etc etc but I have to call multiple times even for silly updates during the process. Your team team was chasing me until money was paid after that you take your customer for granted

Having got the project done from homelane we are satisfied with the finishing. Project manager Mr. Ashish was responsive and attending to our queries on time, his knowledge in this space has helped us in certain decision making at the time.

Design phase Deekshita & installation phase puneet done excellent job and overall experience is good.

Worst experience from such a low grade entity in Ranchi, Jharkhand
My relative took quotation and finalised the design upon which the work has to be done and hence paid 25000 advance.
Right after the payment was made, and before the commencement of work, we were astonished with the design by which they were proceeding and it was totally different from the approved one.
Now they are saying them to forcefully proceed with the same design else no money would be refunded.
This is such a shameful act of consumer harrasment and torture which everyone in Ranchi will surely be aware of and boycott Homelane.

My experience with Homelane@HSR Layout was pretty good. Professional and responsive team!

The entire process was handled professionally. Their designs were creative and worked well to meet my expectations. I would like to appreciate the project manager Vaidya Puneet Kumar for handling the end-to-end process responsively and ensuring it was completed as per the committed timeline.

I have raised multiple complaints with your support and installation team. Sending emails almost every day asking for an update. But homelane team is least bothered about customers once they get the money. Talk to your installation and support team to know the details of my complaint.

Pathetic customer support and service. All payments done. Still some Work is pending for more than 6 months. Continuously following up with their installation and support team via emails and tickets. No response from home lane team. Totally unprofessional company

There designs are not up to the mark they will do silly mistakes in designs and you only have to find and rectify them, like for us there was no plug point where we plan to place refrigerator, no shifting of fan point, our fan point was placed so close to almira that fan can’t move, false ceiling was placed where we plan to put the curtain pelmeting
Basic common sense mistakes they do that only u have to find and rectify them after paying extra money

I think pictures speak for themselves. Go ahead, take their service, if you are ready for an extremely disappointing and harrowing experience. They just need you to pay money.
My first home experience was ruined by the team here. So much delay in delivery. Poor designing and no coordination between designers and on site staff. On top of it, the attitude of designers is the worst - they blame you straight off for agreeing to their design, without a second thought of what improvements are feasible. They offer no solution - I guess their motto is "take it however they have given their cabinets". Not a word of empathy.

My experience with Homelane five years back was great, as they have grown they have become disastrous.
Limited designs with inexperienced designers.

Avoid selecting Nikita Wadhwani as your designer, lacks creativity and our final designs had tremendous faults.

I made payment in May and their manufacturing only finished in late November with lots of delays.

I met the sales guy name Rohit who is from MP. He has very good knowledge and also he made us understand that irrespective of the price what to use and what not to.

Recently I bought a home at HSR layout and I choose Homelane interior designer in bangalore for my home interior designing. I am in awe with my home right now. It looks so beautiful.

Edit: Having constant issues with a magic corner accessory and homelane does not take responsibility of the faulty item. Post handover service needs lot of improvement

It has been a great experience getting our house converted to home with Homelane. From design to delivery it has beem a sublime experience. Both Pramod (our design partner) and Saddam (project execution lead) have been very patient and responsive and the project delivery has been seamless without any hassles. Their scheduled work were perfectly on time till we got impacted by the pandemic which was out of everyone"s control

I had an interior designer in bangalore come over to my house for planning out the design for my new home and they did a really good job. I didn't have to spend too much money and the design was really great.

They gave me a lot of options for the design, and helped me make decisions that fit in my budget. They are the best interior designer in bangalore.

Our experience with homelane was very satisfying. They made sure the project was delivered in timely manner.
Khushboo was very good with design. She understood our requirements and provided suggestions which turned out to be very good. Priya and Atheeq handled the production and dispatch, which was also delivered in a timely inspite of some hiccups.
For execution, Puneet was very proactive as a project manager. He along with his team members Tirupathi and Yogesh made sure that the project is delivered in timely manner

As we were nearing a handover for our new home (according to our builder), we started looking out for interiors. In our search we had talked to various companies including HomeLane. But there was a delay, and the builder obtained the OC after 10 months since we started talking with interior companies. Now we have again started reaching out to the ones we had talked to 10 months ago. There were follow ups also from HomeLane and others, but since we were not sure when we would get our home, we didn't keep on interacting.

Today, we called up Ritesh from HomeLane in view of discussing the interior. Since we have got the OC we thought of asking a renewed quote. And what a rude shock waited for us. My wife, with whom Ritesh was following up, was told by him upfront that we might look for other options as we might not be able to accommodate their quote! He was totally disinterested and was sulking that we took so much time to get back to him. Looked like we disturbed his precious afternoon with our requirement. Just a word of advice for him, buddy, this is sales and this is how it works! Should treat your prospects with respect and HomeLane should arrange a course in sales and courtsey to their team.

Such audacity! If this is how HomeLane's sales people behave with their prospects, God only knows how it would have panned out if we would have gone ahead with these guys! Whatever happened was good, wouldn't have to deal with their arrogance now and can peacefully look at "other alternatives" as suggested.

Overall experience with the homelane team is very good. I would like to thank all the people involved in our interior work. They are very professional and responsive.

Very nice experience working with Homelane. Our project manager Abhijit and project executive Harish did everything very professionally, timely updates with photos and the installation work was completed within the promised time even with Covid restrictions. Would highly recommend Homelane to friends and family.

PM Uday supported well on the project installation and execution. He gave timely updates to us and was flexible in supporting us.

Hunting to find the professional set of folks to help with your interiors is tough and I'm glad I was able to find this team!

Good experience started right from day 1, when we were assigned our designer (Suraj) and ideas from everywhere to finalizing something concrete took some time. Our designer took sometime in explaining the difference in materials, why anything costs more than the other and how it is preferred, every suggestion made had some convincing information and I can say, we have well informed before making a choice.

Once we finalized the designs and the initial payment was done, Project manager (Saddam) was assigned. Must say, this was one of the best experiences of my journey with Homelane. Project manager informed on the timelines, was very professional and stuck to every smallest detail that was mentioned in the design.team was quick and we could actually see the progress of work everyday. Even on a few changes / minor damages, team got it fixed / replaced within the promised timelines.

Overall - i would was very happy with the experience and how things shaped up finally!

If you don’t know how to spend your money, please reach out to Homelane. Like many mentioned 45 days guaranteed completion is just a marketing gimmick. They have experienced interior designer who doesn’t even know what kind of coating needed for wall papers. Hats off to the Project Manager and installation team because they will get everything done tomorrow and that never changes.

Their interior designers will make you spend more money by selecting things from urban ladder and you will end-up spending way too much.they will also say that Homelane will take care of the urbanladder products in their warehouse. Once the order is placed and after some days, they will say that product might get damaged, so it is better to keep it in our place. My building wasn't ready and I HAD to keep it in a place to which I am paying rent for last 5 months.

I have attached one of the sample work (photo) and the carpenter didn't even bother to push out the Grey Plastic little out and fix it. Instead he ended up cutting into pieces and it looks horrible. This is just a sample and I will be updating the photos with my comments soon.

They will say that our team will take the measurements upto mm level perfect, but nothing happens like that. The worst thing is if there is small additional piece of wood is needed, it will take a week for them to get it. Their work is always in series mode and if one work is delayed, everything gets stopped.

I would suggest to get a good carpenter and get the kitchen and wardrobe boxes done by him. There are so many companies who use machine finishing for shutters (doors) and it would give almost equal finish and you will save so much money.

Homelane care service is very efficient and professional in their approach. I had good experience when it comes to their services. Wish to have continued association.

So here is my story with Homelane in hsr layout bangalore. We went there during pandemic as it was next door and also we heard a lot about the brand. They offered us a lucrative deal on the very first day and asked us to book the deal as it is ajar. During this whole deal at least 100 time he mentioned for 100% refund in case of cancellation, infact he stressed on the fact of refund and asked us to pay without giving it a second thought. We were little skeptical on booking as we didn't get the possession till then and were assuming to get it within a months time. However we did the booking next day keeping the refund assurance at the back of our mind. Next day we made a payment of 25k as again it was an offer made to us that instead of 10%, with a minimum amount of 25k you can make the booking. It never came to our mind that we might get cheated as we trusted homelane as a brand and it's values, representative is just a person representing the brand on front end. Then after 20 days, the D day came and due to this pandemic, we lost our jobs and forced into a situation to cancel the booking. Since then we are chasing for our money and now bloody these guys are offering a refund of 50% in form of voucher and are requesting us to refer to terms and conditions which are there in the quotation which were never talked through earlier. We have had a horrible experience with these guys and would never recommend to anybody. I don't know how can somebody charge you when nothing has been invested on you. Offering voucher for 50% of amount is effectively 20% on company's pocket. These guys are real cheater. But the biggest con is the guy named ARVIND who fooled us and got our money sucked in the system.

Excellent job by Homelane. Very good design by Pragya and great execution by Saddam’s team. On time completion and very much supportive people. Overall very much satisfied with their work and I really recommend to go with them without any fear!

I had visited the showroom looked for all my options. They sent the quotations that i didn't like and don't want to go ahead with it.i messaged them and told the same with a sorry note as well.i got a call telling what happened and all.i told i have looked other options and don't want to share that their staff behaved really badly and told i should not waste time and all and i am unprofessional.and was very rude in talking.if we are not going ahead with home lane does it mean they have rights to behave and tell like this. Really bad response i got and happy that i am not going ahead with homelane now.

I had a satisfying experience with Homelane HSR layout team consisting of Shahbhas (designer) and Saddam (project manager). Special thanks to Saddam for executing it within the time limit. He was very sincere, punctual, monitored work on regular basis, shared updates and was quick to resolve any minor issues we had during the execution.

Thank you to the whole team for making our abode so beautiful? What we had in our mind for our home, it has come out more than we dreamed of. We really liked everything.
Right from the design, implementation, finishing.everything was just perfect.

The quality of work which Homelane provides you is simply the best, that too as per your requirements and as per your budget. I would recommend Homelane over the local vendors as Homelane gives you more durability, better finish and on-time delivery.

PROS (Design) : I took HomeLane for my interiors and they did really well. They delivered them on time and with very good quality. Shravya helped us with the designs, she was not just patient but also made sure that we get the desired deisgns and was ready to have mutiple rounds of discussions (if we need) even after we finalized the designs.

CONS (Design) : THE ONLY THING MISSING WITH HOME LANE IS THE LACK OF RENDERS DURING DESIGN. This was something which i was expecting initially that was missing.

Now coming to Installation. EXCELLENT! Pavan and team helped us on this and they did a really good job. We had our own whatsapp group to discuss daily updates, and when to expect what. There was always a site manager to make sure that work is going smooth. We ran into a issue while installing, but the team was quick to understand the issue and rectify it all within the timeframe they promised.

Great job Homelane team!

HomeLane Care Service - was very good. Even in the Times of CoVid the service was prompt. The service engineer came along with all possible spares that would be required and fixed the issue in single visit.

Very pathetic way to interact with customer. They started the quote with 8 Lakh and when i informed them it is over budget they suddenly told there will be discount and reduced price informing it will be of same quality. Why should you quote higher just to provide discount? Sales Person was so rude when i requested for a site visit he informed me to come with cheque or cash so that if he visits the location it is mandatory for me to do the booking with certain % of amount else he informed it is waste of time for him to travel. Which SalesPerson will hesitate to meet the customer and explain them the product? Please stay away from this company.

I have an on going project with homelane. I am not fully satisfied with them. They advertise for unlimited colors…but the truth is u have to select from very limited colors kept at the experience centre.

It has been almost a month when we paid the booking amount. Till now our design is not finalized. Every week we visit with our choice of design and color. But as usual it gets rejected.

They also offer discounts which is of no use…typical business mentality…. Raise the price and then give discounts.

Better to purchase material by your own and get the work done by carpenter.

We went homelane before lockdown and our interior works get paused and when it resumes they consider our project in high priority thanks for Project Manager
Varun and our designer Kirti it has been great with work being done, staying till the end of the day at times, getting things delivered to the site all by himself. A very calm and composed person, he never hesitates to help. Thanks for Homelane team. Please note that the work done was appreciated by everyone who came to see our house and that only brings pride to us. Definitely recommending this to people I know. Kudos team.
