I live abroad and needed to get my flat in Bangalore painted and redecorated in my absence. I used HomeShikari for this. Their service was absolutely superb. They responded promptly and positively to all e-mails and messages (particularly Preety). They got a vendor to see the property and provide a quote. They also agreed to supervise the work. The quote was very reasonable. We commissioned the work and it has just been completed - exactly in 8 days as promised. Their representative on site (Ramesh) was excellent. He kept us informed on a daily basis. We were sent photos updating us at the end of each day. If we needed to discuss something Ramesh was happy be contacted directly. We are so pleased with the service we have received! They have been amazing! We are going to use them as letting agents as well for the flat. A big Thank you to the HomeShikari team!

Below is my personal experience and I recommend not to go with Homeshikari for your Khata needs. Read and choose wisely.

I applied to get B-Khata in November 2020 and i got the Khata in November 2021 that to After asking for REFUND. Yeah they took 1 year to get B-Khata. They charged me fees of Rs. 20,000 for B-Khata and the additional charge of Rs. 999 for Khata research.

So after taking so much money and time atleast were they professional? NO. For first 8 months i didn't get any updates and whenever I contacted them they were saying it will be done by end of this week. But then again no update. After 8 months when I asked for refund they started the work.

Their field executive Mr. John was literally verbally very rude when we spoke on the phone. His actual words were "why are you calling? Don't call again? " And this one of many sentences he used when I asked a query to get additional documents. Yep, it was just a query and couldn't answer a query like professional.

So yeah, if you want to spend Rs. 20,000 and wait for 1 year to get Khata then go ahead. Choose wisely.

I don't recommend Homeshikari for your Khata needs. Speaking from personal experience they were very unprofessional, rude. If you want to spend lot of money and time you can choose them

So they showed me home at thubarahalli, I spoke to owner, he told to pay 10k to block house. I was traveling and both created urgency, and asked me to deposit 10k. I though house was nice based on photos, and paid 10k, came after 3 days of giving money to see house and did not like the house. Further asked refund from owner, he blocked my number, and these people did not take any responsibility to refund. It's not only about 10k, it's also about scam these guys are running. Seems they create urgency and make u pay and not refund and earn from this in covid.

They Don’t have knowledge of documents as per government office need.

Gave interview here. Bad experience. Adding more to my review. I do not wish to contact your HRs as I am in an MNC now just opposite your Ferns office. Glad now that I was rejected by your HR. She seemed bothered about my age (36 years) and that I had to leave some jobs to attend family issues (she only asked questions about the professional gaps, none regarding my experience at previous jobs) Just like to tell to your lady HRs, that they need to broaden their mindset and be compassionate to people in distress. Do not give them false hopes saying 'we would contact you'. It kills time for someone who has less time left.
I wasted precious time awaiting her call before moving on. Many company HRs frankly tell the candidates that they are rejected right after interview.

Very good service. Well mannered executives. Dealt with them for my property tax related issue. It definitely took time due to govt authorities but Homeshikari executives did excellent job by visiting them regularly and always kept me posted accurately. Keep up the good job and grow big.

I would give 4.5 stars to HomeShikhari. I want to first echo many other reviewers' sentiments on the promptness and quality of service provided by most of the executives, esp. Mr. Kathirvel Kamalanathan.
We have engaged HomeShikhari services from the time our previous tenants left the property late last year: inspection, keys handover-over, minor repairs, tenant search and finally tenant management (that's ongoing).

I have two complaints (both of which I have reported back to the support team) : One, about the way the contractors were handled for a minor repair work (a day's work, in fact!). It took 2 weeks to get this work done despite timely payment. I would request TTK to be strict with the vendors so that support can be provided promptly. I hope this aspect of the services is improved. Second, there were some communication gaps in filling us in, on progress made on certain services.

I hope both of the above complaints would be duly addressed. Highly recommend to use HomeShikhari services for managing property when you are not in town.
