Honey Valley

Amazing location. Surrounded by coffee plantation and trees. Very serene, green, and peaceful place. The rooms are reasonable too. Food could be better. The spread is good and comes at a reasonable cost for the buffet but lacks taste (maybe it's tailored for health conscious people who avoid salt and spices).
The place is reachable by 4x4 car/jeep only so it's ideal for a relaxed vacation where you stay put and enjoy the property. You can park your car in the village below.

Beautiful raw place amidst greenery. Good hosts, great service, best place to spend peaceful moments & connect with nature without high expectations of luxury. Water falls close by the stay is cherry on the cake. Budget friendly. Just needs a lil improvement on food.

My favorite stay during 2 months in India! Very simple accommodation but still clean and comfortable. The hosts are lovely and experienced in hosting people. Extremely remote location guarantees good hiking and quietness. They offer good and affordable food in the other home stay close by.

The food at the restaurant was nice (you have to walk about 1.5km down a steep hill to get to it, it didn't bother me but it might put some people off)
There are nice walks to do straight from the Homestay - ask for the book that has a list of walks in it
The room i stayed in was small and the bed wasn't very comfy but it is very good value

One thing i couldn't understand is that at the Homestay they keep birds in cages. I found this very sad. These poor birds should be free to fly. It seems very cruel to do this. I hope the owners will set these birds free.

One of the best stay i ever had. Feels like our home and staffs are very polite and helpful. Mind blowing location with a beautiful waterfall inside the campus.

I went there to enjoy mountain trails and bird watching. Such a lovely homely property. Sureshji sees to it that he interacts with each guest. Makes them feel at home. Aunty tends to the garden lovingly. The food is delicious. Tried their pork curry and tasted the flavoured wine. Rooms are adequate. The staff is ready to solve any problem you face. Location is most amazing! Had a bit of trouble with hot water and noisy neighbors but it was taken care of. Highly recommended for families and nature lovers.

It is absolutely beautiful place to stay and experience the rawness of nature and luxury at a same time!
They have two stay’s one is honey valley and other one is Chingara, both are good and beautiful
This property js situated in the heart of forest
They also have a wide range of rooms
If you are a traveller and just need a place to hop in; you will get a room costs 650rs for two!
Food is good in quality but taste is average but food shouldn’t be a priority if you are here!
Lastly one thing i like about this place is they know what they are providing! They have maintained this place on the level of 10/10

You need to park your vehicle at parking and the jeep will take you up at the property

Location of the homestay is very good. Rooms were clean. Owner and staff were polite. Food is good. There is a beautiful waterfall on the way to homestay where you can play in water. There are many trekking trails from homestay. You can trek to Thadiyandamol, Nilkandi waterfall and many more. Good for family and friends. Since it is the middle of coffee estate and surrounded by trees and plants you can expect insects, leaches etc. Which are not harmful.

Can't drive car till homestay, need to park at down only. They will arrange Jeep to go to stay. Food is worth. Local wines are available for purchase. Full of greenery.

The location is wonderful, close to lot of hikes, nice waterfall as part of the property, fresh mornings overlooking a hill with birds chirping. Great service and the owners of the property are very down to earth folks. Wine tasting is also good after a heavy meal.

Need to improve on reducing noise from people, either tell to the guests to be quiet after certain time in the night or the roof wall ceilings should be made sound proof as you can overhear other people talking.
Food is cooked very thoroughly which makes you feel that you are eating more like a paste.

Very good place with private falls and good trekking spots. Spent a good time. The host is very clear about what they offer. Good Value for money.

Simple cottages set in a scenic valley of coffee plantations and forests, It's a place to go to get some peace and quiet, and also to get active with nature. There are multiple trails leading out right from honey valley to fill up morning and evening hikes, and during the slightly warmer march afternoons, we spent time reading and sketching.
The family is very warm and welcoming, and have a good knowledge of the trails and routes. Balanced home-cooked meals and a lot of books stocked in the dining hall.
Definitely not for loud music or partying.

Strictly for nature lovers only. Other looking for luxury and comfort in the middle of forest must stay away. The best homestay I have visited.

The location is the best part of this homestay. It is situated almost 4 KMs away from the main road and it is recommened to hire their jeep to drive you from the main road or the parking lot. No way the two-wheel drive cars can make it there. They have a parking place (not sheltered) in the main road where you can park your verhicles there. We stayed in a 6 bed dormitory and the room was sparkling clean. The only thing that was disappointing was the food. It could have been better. Other than that the service is very good. They have a lot of trek trails from the homestay. The workers there will help you with everything you need so just talk to them. They packed us food for our treks and dropped us to the start pointings too! Plesae not that the amount you pay is only for the stay. Every food/snacks/beverages you order is charged seperately. Recommened you to take cash with you for your payments. The internet is very weak.

Nice place.simply sit and relax or you can go for trekking. Reaching road is awesome, only 4x4 vehicle can reach there. They also having private water falls. Food is ok not that much great and specially dishes are awesome especially coorg dishes. Hospitality overcome the drawback of the food. Calm and neat place. Wish to visit again there in monsoon.
