How to take appointment? I’m trying to reach via phone for the past one week, unfortunately, no one is answering the phone.

Here they do only and only fistula scan.if u go there with prescription (any ultrasound).
they will not tell u anything and only do scan for fistula.if u have doubt for fistula then only it may b helpful.

Horrid experience. Requested us to come by 2.30 and we got our slot at 9 in the night. No consideration for people's time. Receptionist need few months of training in customer care.

Finally, they only take cash.apparently their machine is gone bad.

Save yourself.

This place is still living in past century where patients are expected to wait many hours just to see doctors. They could have given time slot for patients instead of making them to come in morning and wait
till late evening. Truly pathetic

Forget all the reviews here. The doctor is excellent and knows what he's doing. He tells you exactly what to do. He takes the time and effort to help you through. Yes the staff may be curt, but if you're here, that's probably the least of your worries.

Best doctor, if you have the patience to wait for 3-4 hours. No parking, no comfortable seating place, but does it matter? Dr. Shankar is the best.

I was also sceptical of going there and doing the scan after seeing so much of negative reviews. But I didn't encounter any rude behaviour from anyone.there were 3 ladies managing the whole clinic and they were superb. Yes I agree that you have to carry lot of patience and wait for your turn. I waited for 2 and half hours for my turn.
I guess my case was not so complicated and didn't took much time for my scan.the doctor will take his time to properly scan and give accurate results. I was happy about the outcome so I will give 5 stars.
Only 1 advice is that be patient enough if you go to that place and if you need accurate result. There is a reason big reputed doctors refer you to that place.

Fun fact - none of the clinic people will check these reviews because they do not care one bit about the patients and their experiences there.
Your time is *meaningless* there and according to the infamous mean old lady (honestly the world can be a much better place without her) everybody is complaining about, "The doctor does not have the time to check online prescription, bring a hard copy. "
So the patient can wait for hours AFTER AN APPOINTMENT but the doctor can't spare a single minute to go through the prescription?
She needs to know that her actions can have consequences too and one day some hot headed patient is going to treat her the same way she treats the patients there, LIKE A DOG.
If you still want to go there, it's your wish but I'll never go there again. But I can assure you one thing, you'll be just as frustrated as everyone else by the end of the day.

Oh, where do I even begin with this fantastic ultrasound scan center? I mean, who wouldn't want to spend their precious time waiting in a cramped and dingy waiting room.

And let's not forget the staff, who are clearly just thrilled to be there, with their sullen faces and lack of enthusiasm for their job. It's almost as if they're doing you a favor.

Overall, I would highly recommend this ultrasound scan center if you enjoy wasting your time, being treated like a burden. It's truly a one-of-a-kind experience.

3 stars - just for the Dr. Shankar who was recommended by many. He was very good.

Patients who visit the center will be already in pain or going through a lot.simple smile at the center helps alot.

Worst staff no respect the receptionist is far more worst and far a scanning they ask 4000.just for a black and white sheet.thank you

As per my interaction with two doctors - both mentioned that Dr. Shankar is the best doctor for TRUS scan in Bangalore.so don't just go by the negative reviews mentioned about receptionist here.personally I had to book an appointment for 10 days later and had to wait for around 1.5 hrs for the scan.but overall experience was good.

Guys yes I had also faced as mentioned below where staffs are bit rude. Come on they're doing their job it's not that easy to handle bunch of patients at a time and we are nothing to do with staffs unless our work is done. Let's talk about the doctor. He is polite co operative well Deciplined and explain things well where we will get accurate report. I strongly recommend this. Have some patience and go get your work done. Also UPI is available. Definitely that receptionist has Tika ganchali that we can share for whole Bengaluru. Management needs to tell her that she gets salary form the money we pay. And 4000 rupees for a scan is also high.

Remember you are paying for the Doctor ‘s expertise not receptionists attitude. He is trusted by many surgeons to be accurate and that’s what matters. His report guides your surgeon to plan the surgery. What is the use of receptionist talks sweetly and doctors report inaccurate? So be ready to wait indefinitely and tolerate reception people to get your work done. Also don’t expect doctor to talk to you. It is your surgeon who will describe what that report means. You might however be asked to describe your symptoms and from when you have them. Feel free to share such things with him.

Very very very horrible staff.talk very rudly.i waited for almost a month for the scanning, and still no appointment.i would suggest to not to go there at all.go to apollo or may be somewhere else.better to die but NOT TO GO THERE AT ANY COST.

Worst place I request doctors to not refer/suggest this scanning center. The receptionist treats the patients like slaves. Even After paying so much money they treat the patients very rudely. Receptionist behave very rudely she literally speaks and scold the patients very bad manner.

The facilities is very minimum which is very bad. It is not well maintained. There is no cleanliness. Workers are not trained properly. I request management to teach the receptionist a good manners and politeness. The old lady literally fight with the patients and scold them like anything. She won't respond or clear the enquiries of the patients.

I don't know even after charging so much fees why they are treating like this. They are not working for free or they are serving for free. They are paid well and they charge the fees very well (high expensive).

I kindly request the doctors to not refer this scanning centers for anyone. And I request management to take strict action on the receptionist.

I had to wait for 3 hours to get the scanning done even after having an appointment.

Well defined problem is half resolved, so visit this place to understand all aspects of the problem so they can be resolved soon. Dr. Shanka is the best in this field, he gives required time for every patient and thoroughly checks all possibilities. I felt this place is very well organised, clean and the best in what they do.

My observation about this place:
Do not visit without prior appointment
Reaching just on time is enough
Carry lots of patience with you
Staff is experienced they treat everyone equally, our turn will depend on number of pending cases prior to us and know that every case cannot be completed in 15min.
Staff speaks to the point, they are there only to help doctor/patient to get their work done asap so don't feel offended for anything.
Staff eat food at their desk without going out for break so they understand the value of everyone's time.
No parking space as it's located in a busy road.
Payment can be made only through cash or UPI.

1. Pathetic, horrible experience of my life.

Staff behaviour iOS not good but the report is very clear. They don't accept cards and you have to wait for atleast 3 hours

Never ever recommended this clinic to anyone. Worst staff at their peak in rudeness.they're all old folks in their 60s or more barely understand the "reception" concept. Only good vibe is the doctor who knows exactly the patient problem and the treatment

Dr Shankar is THE best expert for ultrasound scans. He takes time to explain, is very patient, and is very thorough. I did not experience the rudeness of the staff that other people did, maybe because during covid we have fewer patients.
Doctor Shankar does tailor make scans to fit your profile and is the best at what he does, he gives complete focus to every patient and that takes time. I would be willing to dedicate 5/6 hours even to get a report if all the doctors trust it blindly (I consulted 3 doctors and all of them referred me here).

Cons-
1) Worst behavior from old lady receptionist
2) they treat patients like they are doing scan for free, where they are charging more then any other scanning center
3) they wont attend calls (before10: 30 nd after 1 o clock) as the old lady receptionist herself is the nurse and she acts like we never called her
4) scanning center located in highly busy road, infact took 10/15 mins to cross road, just imagine about car parking
5) the 1st thing on their notice board is 'Scans r done only with appointment, still they make u wait for hours, no tokens either people who came after us went in 1st
6) As most of the patients visit here are suffering from piles, fissure nd fistula, how can they sit so long, plz dont hurt people who are already in pain
7) Even though the covid test was negative, She wanted us to get RT-PCR covid test for second time jus because the report came after 3 days (she wants it to be within 48 hours, where rapid test is not acceptd from them, nd RT-pcr results takes couple of days)
8) only cash accepted on a digital world, maybe they are worried about IT
9) the doctor seems to be a good guy but he behaves deaf and dumb about his staffs bad behavior

Only pros: -
Doctor is experienced and seems good in this field, doctor deserve 4.5 stars but his negligence about his staffs behavior will spoil his name and business badly as u can see so many bad experiences from patients

*) Hope dr shankar reads all the reveiws some day and takes action against his staff before its too late

Experience with doctor was good. Only thing is that staff needs to pampered on being kind to patients

I gave 5 stars for Dr Shankar. Yes the front office and cleaning lady are horrible but Dr Shankar is the best. His scans are incredibly detailed and accurate. I knew this so I was willing to wait the long hours and put up with the nasty front desk and cleaning lady. I’m from the US so had no idea what to expect. Dr Shankar is very gentle, talks you through what he is doing and is so kind. Most of all he’s an expert at what he does.

The scanning doctor diagnoses very well but the staff has to learn some decency and work ethics. They can't be so rude on patients or even a human kind.
I recommend this scanning Centre only due to the doctor.

I am not so happy about the staff, parking, attitude and waiting time. I even felt that its a big nexus among hospitals and diagnostic center. I felt very uncomfortable about the room they perform the diagnosis. No basic privacy. Even the price is also very high compared to similar facilities.

Finally I checked with few other good doctors about the hype of that place and found that he is one of the best doctor and worth going there.

Except for doctor, his details about the diagnosis and his knowledge rest all is not good about this place.

I came here from Hyderabad for sono fistulogram of my 10 year's old son, i contacted them over phone and asked the appointment they patiently listened my problem and gave me a slot within a 4 days based on the my urgency, I reached the centre on appointment date and the front desk people noted down the details and the scan was completed after a waiting of 2 hrs, My son was taken inside by the staff gently and the scan was completed in a hour span. Report was given after 20 minutes, Great people, Great centre.

My experience was very good. Only have to wait long fr the appointment. Otherwise very good experience only. I have just waited fr one hour n done the scan. As everyone said Dr Shankar is very good n his reports are also very accurate n detailed. I recommend this scan center. Thanks

They do not deserve one star, receptionist throws sadist attitude. Worst behavior, not sure with such sick attitude how do they take care of patients.

I wish there was negative rating. People here are pathetic, frustrated bunch working, don't know how to talk to people.

Very first no parking for own vehicles. Parking your vehicles in busy traffic road is highly impossible and better go by auto or cab. Front desk lady is arrogant. Cash payment only as instructed at the time of taking appointments. Only one extremely experienced elderly doctor at scan center this is the only reason still doctors at other hospitals recommend this place. Im giving 5 star only for doctor and for his kind nature. Assuming the condition of patience another doctor with required facilities to be added. For better experience, mosquitoes are all over scan center!

The worst place. Doctors will refer you to come here beacause they are getting paid. Its a trap. They will give you a appointment time and will call you after 6-7 hours. Totally dissapointment.

Frogs in the Well!
Hope everyone remembers this story that we have heard or studied. The 2 Front office staff & the housekeeping lady can be compared to this story. They are just thinking that their scanning center is the end of the world for patients. Very Unprofessional. Very rude. Very arrogant. The moment you enter the front office area you will be seen like a victim. I believe by birth they have not smiled or they dont know what does a smile mean. Any hospital or health care center we visit, by the way staff treat us we should feel that we are in a good place & we should get a confidence that we will get well soon. For sure this is not one such place. If you go here your problems will increase Mentally until you are there. By any chance due to the pain caused by sitting for long time, if you walk outside & inside sitting area, the housekeeping woman will look at you as if she is going to kill you & keep on cursing within herself because she has to clean the area again. Even though you take prior appointment 2 weeks before, the first thing that front office lady tells you that is you need to wait for atleast 4-5 hrs. Then for what F*** we need to take prior appointment? By any chance if you go one day prior or later other than your fixed date, gone case, for sure you will spend nearly 6-7 hrs that too with the mercy of these ladies. Dr Shankar has to take time to read all these reviews where his center's rating is 1 star. Else he will spoil his name because of these cheap ladies. If there was a minus for minus rating, I would have choosen that.

Appointments are always full; need to wait as much as a week to get one! Receptionist during appointment call shoot questions viz, since when you have this problem among others, as if they are docs

Very unprofessional front desk officials, Very unorganised place, no proper sitting arrangements, I returned back without getting my scan done, such is the level of my dissatisfaction. If had option to give negative I would have given.

Appointment time was at 3. But I went for scanning at 8. That lady receptionist shows attitude like she is more than Doctor

Support staff are rude and arrogant. They need to understand that people come there with one or the other condition. They must be courteous and kind. Doctor is ok, but works like a robot. Not much interaction with the patient. Strange to see that they accept only cash payments.

I came to Bangalore to treat my Fistula and had my TRUS at Dr. Shenkar. He is a real genious and one of a kind. He is so proffesional and his tests are100% accurate. India is magic and Dr. Shenkar is one of them. Thank you.

You need to wait for your turn, but the diagnosis that they give is very accurate and in-depth, kudos!

Wish I had minus ones. Before you go over there please call them & get to know what type kind of customer service is awaiting you. Best of luck.

Worst place I have ever visited. Keeping the clinic clean doesn’t mean this place is good. Taking appointment means nothing to these people they say it’s reporting time. Even if patient is in pain they will least bother and ask to wait for hours.doctors from few hospitals refer only this clinic does scan properly in Bangalore and directly warn patient that if they do scanning from other places then they might need to repeat scanning. This place charges 3k to 3.5k but same scanning other clinic charges 2k.it’s costly because these people pays doctors for reference. Think twice before visiting here or be ready to waste one full day.
