HORNBILL RIVER RESORT is Best Resort in all over Nearby Dandeli and Anshi National Park, location of this Resort are very scenic dens trees around the Resort and river front also, food quality are also very good, verius types room are available like Tent, Riverfront Rooms, stone cottages, and one of the Beautiful Tree Houses. It cost are for per person basis, in there resort some activities providing from resort like Morning and Night Jungle Trek, Kayaking, natural Jacuzzi on Kali River and River Rafting, River Crossing are Chargeable. It is around 80 KM from Belgam and 20 KM from Anshi National Park. 82 KM from Dudhsagar waterfalls.

One of the best resort in the arms of nature. We stayed two nights in riverview cottages. The location and view from the room was simply mind blowing. From balcony we could view Kali river and feel the cool breeze. This resort is a best place to relax and chill. Manger Mr Benny and his asst Mr Pradeep, both are very humble and friendly. Food I was very tasty, pantry head Prashanth was very perfect in his service. And his staff Jayanthu
Chuttan and others served us very caringly. Thank you all for your hospitality service and for making our stay so enjoyable and comfortable.

Wonderful place, beautiful themed cottages, amazing food, the management is very nice/helpful, the whole property is very scenic, the resort also provides various water activities.
It's a very good place for anyone to relax.

This is one of best resort managed by very humble persons, special mention to Pradeep and Bernard to make things easy when you check in and also suggest you the timings for water activities, they have in house kayaking, boating, fishing included in package. Tree house has best view. Food is great and rooms are clean.

Yesterday we visited.
Not value for money. We booked tent, which don't have any cleaness, full of insects. Being expensive resort, no COVID rules. Bathroom and toilets are not hygienic.
Food is not good at all.
Service is not good.

Nice resort in dandeli near river kali. Great for water activities like kayaking, river rafting, ziplining, etc. Food was good, cosy rooms with basic amenities.

We had a great 3 night stay at this beautiful property. Our group had one tree house and two river view cottages. All the rooms were beautiful and cosy. The staff is friendly and very helpful. They go extra length to make your stay as comfortable as possible in middle of jungle. All meals are included in package and its so delicious. The kitchen happily made changes for kids and elderly. The water sports are fun and again instructors are well trained and nice. I would love to go back here soon.

We had a great time here. This resort is situated on the Riverside, that's the advantage.stay was pleasant, food served was delicious.guides are good, u enjoy all the activities included in the package. Night trek and early morning walk near Riverside are mesmerizing.one star less becoz no room service and intercom, but since it s dense forest that's somewhat understandable to compromise on these things.

Close to Nature this resort in Dandeli is one of the best human settlements where you can stay and be mesmerised by the beauty of nature. Beautiful landscapes, exceptional scenery and close proximity to wildlife.
Experience the beauty of nature by living at this place. Priced a bit high from others in Dandeli they provide wonderful service and good food. My stay here was for one day but it felt like an hour during checkout. Tree house was the most expensive stay here and is only reserved for couples.
CAUTION: Insects are abundant here so bring watever you feel is safe on your skin to ward of Insects.

This is one of the most loved resort by my family and friends. Had been to this place several times. It has such a calming environment. Surrounded by nature and it’s true beauty, I’m fascinated by everything that’s around. Nature walk, safari, water activities and what not! They provide breakfast, lunch and dinner. Food tastes yummy. They provide good service. I have stayed in tree house and tent house. Rooms are very clean. Highly recommended

Clean. Friendly staffs. Tree house interior parts needs some maintenance.

We can find Malabar Giant Squirrel, black big squirrel, deer, few types of birds specifically you can find hornbill.

We can do swimming and boating in Kali River.

Food is fine

We can stay maximum two nights.

Sightseeing of tiger can be done during November, December and January months.

Hornbill exceeded my expectation. First and foremost, it's a beautiful and scenic place. We stayed in a Tree House which is very well maintained and has a beautiful view of River Kaali from the balcony of Tree house. Food was good. Very courteous and well mannered staff and support staff. Would love to re visit this place. Had a good Rafting experience.

Rooms, Staff everything was nice except food.
We visited 9 pepoles for 2 days. Food quality & taste was really horrible.

Place is quite and homely. A very relaxing experience. Charges are seasonal. Need from book in advance if you are staying for the night.

Best season to visit is Dec to Feb and if possible avoid weekends.

Nothing can be said about this place. This is Where one can get some Peace. Located in the forest and beside River Kali, the rooms were beautiful. No TV in the rooms which means you can stay away from. All nonsense and just enjoy the beauty of forest. Only sounds u can hear are of birds and river. Recommended place for a weekend getaway.

I was here for lunch with Apollo tyres. What a gem of a place. Next to the river with an awesome kickass view of the river waters. Also a rafting starting point.lunch was great and staff was attentive: also came forward asking me to taste local food too. Didn't stay the night but the 2 hr experience was nice

We had booked tree house and it was amazing experience. Beneath the tree house there is river flowing. View is amazing. Staff are friendly. We had been with our baby, staff mentioned they would hold him, we can go for water rafting.

Paradise on earth.best place to connect with nature, be it pitch dark forest covered with an umbrella of stars or spotting a malabar squirrel or a brahmin eagle and ofcourse the hornbill couple.strongly recommend this place for its courteous staff and awesome breakfast variety.

This a good resort property that is on the banks of Kali river close to the long river rafting point and offer many activities to the guests, the food is good. Stay is also good. No TVs in the rooms, nature walk is really bad. Service is not so great.

The environment here is so friendly, you wouldn't believe that you are at a hotel. Every single person on the staff is a gem even the dog Jack is very friendly. The location of this place is perfect too and the services are second to none.

Managers are arrogant, lack of hospitality but staff were good, Tree hose was good minus shower and tent house was badly maintained
