Food was very tasty and fresh. Their sambar was too good unlike the sweet sambar we get in most places. The ghee paper roast is a must eat. Place was very crowded, finding seating may be a task.
Open restaurant, low cost food. Tea is nice. Dishes taste average, cost is reasonable. Limited seating available. No parking. Sambar tastes bland. Dosa is very thick.
You must try this place if you stay in the locality. Recently tried breakfast options at this joint - Mysore Masala Dosa, Khara bath, Poori and Idli Vada. All the items we tried were really tasty and was served hot without much waiting. Vada was fried to the right level, was crispy and did not feel any excess oil. Sambhar and chutney was to my liking. It is a self service place with seating available for about 35 people. Parking is restricted and you'll park along the busy doddaballapur road. Restaurant gets extremely busy in the morning especially during weekends.
Online experience - Ordered from swiggy, they didn't even accept the order for 30 mins, after calling them about the order they informed me they are handing over to the swiggy delivery person. After waiting for 15 more minutes status was same.
Pathetic experience. Never going to deal with such people.
An amicable and hygienic restaurant on the deserted highway. Highly preferred for pure veg eaters as it is one among very few in that category which offers clean service and tasty foods.
I visited Hotel Annalakshmi in Bengaluru Doddaballapur recently and had a good experience overall. The restaurant serves some of the best South Indian cuisine with a wide variety of dishes to choose from. The taste and quality of the food were excellent. However, I must say that the prices are on the higher side, which may not be suitable for everyone.
One area where the restaurant could improve is its environment. There is no proper drinking water system in place, which can be inconvenient for some customers. Despite this, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the overall service was good.
In summary, I would recommend Hotel Annalakshmi to anyone looking for a good South Indian restaurant. Although the prices may be a little steep, the food is definitely worth it.
Worst reastaurant ever, we bought veg biriyani from them and found cockroach in it, no hygiene at all they will just get people sick, not at all recomended
Pathetic hotel. It's better for them to close it. There's no taste in food at all. Went twice. Disappointed both the times. Never go. Waste of money. New Udupi Veg, about 1km ahead is better.
Everything here is in rage of OK to Ew. Nothing really good. Really do not like flavours (sambhar is the worst) at this place at all but come here due to lack of better food. Can someone please start a half decent better restaurant and phase this out.
Food flavours need lot of work. I only come here because of good lighting and hygiene. I am always dejected with taste of everything from sambhar to tea. Except dosa nothing good enough to revisit. This establishment can easily be phases out by any decent Udipi which luckily is not happening
Poor taste. We ordered idli, Vada and poori. The idli was not Udupi style, soft idli, but was hard and unbreakable. Our kids couldn't eat it. The vada was OK. Poori although was OK, the Mumbai baaji tasted bad. The only +ve we found was there was jaggery coffee.
