Bathroom was completely gutted very dirty never cleaned. Elevator is very dirty and dusty.

Best location best property for stay one of the finest hotel and resort in Katra Jammu and Kashmir Mr Deepak the captain here at the resort Mr Sunil from restaurant Mr Surinder front dear manager Mr Vikas Singh from restaurant.the most important person is the GM here Mr Amit Malhotra bhai jaan one of the greatest person I have ever seen in my life treat to stay with him love this resort and the hospitality here trust me this hotel is complete value for money perfect one more time with family and friends.

This is the true and factual review of this hotel. This hotel might be near to some big hotels and do not get confused by the entry and reception. This is the most pathetic hotel you will visit in you entire life. Your whole trip will be spoiled and service is pathetic they will not give anything in the room like water, towel, dental kit, glasses, hand towel etc. My advice please find some other hotels.

3rd class hotel with 3rd class facility. No maintenance & no hotel services are provided here. Everything is very dirty. Totally money wastage.

Expensive hotel compared to others. Rooms are big but not maintained well. Water coming from tap was dirty. Service is pathetic. Food is also not good. If you can avoid then pls avoid it.

Please Avoid Booking at this hotel even if you get it for free!
It is a big old ageing lodge with severe basic hygiene issues and ZERO room service/ customer service.
To name a few issues:
Dirty/ Dusty Beds, Bed Bugs, Stained/ Torn Bedsheets, Paint Chipping Off in many places, broken AC, baby cockroaches/bugs, not so functional bathrooms, Hot water issues, non functional phone in the room, unresponsive front desk and untrained/lazy room service staff.

For all Kesari Tour Groups, please avoid booking the trip, if you have this particular hotel for your stay in Katra. Simply not worth it.
Hotel management (if there is any), please wakeup and improve or just simply list your property as a lodge.

We stayed in two rooms and the lock one door was broken and the lights of the other room wasn't working properly. My fam was really annoyed. The service was weird i called someone to fix the door lock, he came checked and told us it done but nothing was changed

Everything is very low class.they are charging like 4 star hotels but its like dharam shala.very old hotel everything was very old do not recommend for stay.

Overall experience is good to excellent, bathroom and toilet are congested TV, AC problems are there (TV is isn't in working condition and AC remote is missing)
Staff personal is excellent on their service and loyalty basis.
The amazing thing is that the clear view of Mata Rani Darbar Vaishno Devi from the sightseeing from window of hotel.

The hotel looks all good and big from outside but it's very bad in real. Rooms are not at all good. Water taps in bathroom are broken. Every 1 hour hotel runs out of water. Rooms doesn't have landline to call reception. The food is the only good thing.

These hotel wala people making us fool.plz dnt go n dnt book.it's better to stay in car.no wifi.no hygiene.even we gonna file a police complain agains the online hotel booking site.froud all around

Don't even think of going near this property with a bargepole. It is best described as a cattle pen, to say it mildly. None of their facilities work. The reception area leaks from the dome. The whole property is so worn out, the room air conditioners, their switches & lights, the curtains, and the bathroom accessories are all either broken or wouldn't work. I and my family stayed there for 2 nights taking two double rooms.it was nothing but a nightmare. Their personnel are good and shows sympathy for your predicament. Please avoid this property even if that means you would have to accommodate yourself in a horse stable. A stable would be far better.

मैं अपने ग्रुप के साथ 9 जून से 11 जून तक ठहरा था।मेरे ग्रुप के पास 8 कमरे थे।सभी कमरों के फर्श खराब थे।AC खराब थे।कई बार कमरे बदलने पड़े।kettle और चाय का कोई सामान नहीं दिया।कंप्लीमेंट्री पानी भी मांगने पर दिया।पानी की बोतल 20 रु वाली 48 रु की दी।न खाना अच्छा और न ही नाश्ता।

We had been there 2 days back. Had booked a club suite room 10 days prior. When we reached there firstly the flush dint operate. The room was very unhygienic. The towels were unclean. We were shown a few more rooms but they were equally embarrassing. Finally we decided to choose one n asked them to clean till we used the spa services. Even that was pathetic. When we arrived at our room the cupboards were left unclean. The toiletries provided were not up to the mark of a 4 star property. Each time u need hot water in the bathroom u need to call the reception. I mean where the hell is this done. Breakfast timings were 7am. But they were not able to serve by 8.45 saying they needed prior intimation. Overall very hopeless experience. Even the furniture was falling off if touched. Most pathetic stay of our life. I frankly do not even wish to give a single star in its rating

Beautiful hotel, nice and cozy rooms. Food was good and the best part of the hotel was its location, lawns and pool. Stayed there for 2days with family.

Worst hotel in terms of cleaning ness, bathrooms are stinking because of non operational exhaust fans and no proper ventilation

The main problem arises when you want a hot water, they don’t have separate geysers, every time you ask for hot water they switch on so called big motor which take minimum 35-40 minutes for hot water to come, that to very slow running water, you have to collect the water in bucket then only you can bath you cannot take shawer directly, only trapping people with there ambience

Everything so beautiful like Food and stay and Room Service, the front office staff is rude. Be careful about Param n Satish. Manager Sumit is good but he is not there when you need him. Moreover, there is no matter key policy, if the key is lost, either justify on Camera or pay. We paid and carried some bad memories in our otherwise most beautiful Trip to Vaishno Devi.

It was very nice experience staying at Devi Grand. Staff was very helpful, even arranged yatra slips for us. Food was delicious and they give us discount on health club on our request.

I got the recommendation of Devi Grand from one of my friends, we booked this hotel as we were going to Mata Vaishno Devi. This hotel is the best one in Katra. Their hospitality is commendable. Starting from the front office to in room service, housekeeping and food, everything was perfect.

Stayed at Dev Grand on Aug 1 with my family. Had a great time. Food was lipsmacking, hospitality was at its best. Will surely recommend this hotel if you are planning to go for Mata Vaishnodevi yatra.

Waste of money

We come first time in devi grand katra for 3 nights but it was very horrble experiences with the hotel.fan is not working light is not working shower is not working they cheated in the billing also when I come they told me Rs2500/- with breakfast & dinner. When I checked out that time They told me Rs 2600/- with breakfast & dinner.

Best thing about this place is the hospitality. Me and my wife went for our first trip and its to the holy Vaishno devi temple. Thanks to Mr. Sumit and Devi grand, we didn't have to bother about our stay, food and local travel. So, we were able to focus our energies on darshan and other things.

I can say for sure, that this will be the hotel, I will be staying every time I visit katra, from now onwards.
