Good and tasty food. Khali Dosa is a must try! They have maintained the taste and ambience like it was in the 90s. It was established in December 1972 and the cashier is the same from before and is a part of the family tree and it is the 2nd Generation. The Khali Dosa was tasty as usual. The masala dosa was sweetish but good and crispy with butter. The tomato bath was not my favourite! It felt like a mixture of vangi bath and puliyogare. The Rava Vada was crispy but lacked salt a bit. They were generous enough, to serve us chutney the 3rd time too! The chutney there is heaven! Manageable on weekdays but on weekends it is damn hard and you have to wait in a queue! And parking is also difficult here

Overall, a must visit place!

Once upon a time, this establishment held the crown as the best hotel in Bengaluru, etching fond memories of impeccable service and culinary delights, especially when it graced Bull Temple Road. However, the winds of change have not been kind, and today, it stands as a mere shadow of its former glory in NR Colony.

The Kali dosa was worst I had ever had, probably it was not even fermented. Chutney was almost water, absolutely nothing. I bought Kali dosa benne palya. Palya was just smash potato nothing else.

My honest suggestion is to not to visit this place for ever, it is better to be closed. People running are spoiling the brand of that great soul who created this.

Even during my college days, we used to go there to eat kali dosa and chutney. Now after 40 years, we went there, same taste, clean, even though the location has changed, we didn't know.

Dose doesn't have any taste at all.it seems they are just running out of name and definitely not due to taste. That Aloo palya that was given to dose was worst. Chutney was taste less.

Famous for their Soft Khali Dose with Benne and Palya, which is a must-try Item there. Extra benne costs 6Rs.

Apart from that the Poori Sagu will be good in taste and so many people are ordering that only.

And they are providing strong tea (which is something I’ve not come across in many places). Because all the hotels have only strong coffee.

And there will be a lot of crowd on weekend, make sure that your going on time.

And this is one of the oldest Hotel in Basavanagudi. And till now they have maintained the same taste, and even some staff's are also same.

Self service and service both are available.

Staffs are Hygienic, wears aprons and headscarf all time, Very polite and well maintained place.

All types of payment method is available here cash/card/UPI.

And we can take Parcels also which are given at the entrance and well packed.

Overall must visit hotel for Khali Dose. (Don't forget to add extra butter).

Good food but hardly you get to eat peacefully. People come and eat in a hurry seeing the crowd.

In India there is no concept of standing in Line.

One of it's kind dose! So healthy and tasty, yummy chutney, and light on the stomach. Gluten free and vegan, and super affordable. It sets the standard for what Khali dose should be. My south Indian soul gets fed here:)

Well organized set up, 2 billing counters, self service n then parcel counter n takeaway separate. 50 plus years of experience ve made them function very well.

The quality of their dose is deteriorating, I was totally disappointed. The small dose joints prepares better dosas than what I had in Dwarka. They have totally lost their quality of the dose.

Going here since 20 years. I personally feel there are better places for khali dosas (MLTR and Brahmins). Also, the staff is extremely rude to one and all.
Although not the best, the food is still tasty but service needs to improve.

Benne khaali dosae was amazing. So was the masalae dosae, brown, crisp and right thickness.
VaDae was crispy and light.
The only let down was the chatni which was slightly watery.

They have the softest kahli dose in town. With an amazing chutney to accompany the dose. Their Khali dose, palya (aloo subzi), benne (butter) and chutney combo is a must try.

I visited this hotel and had Khali Dose and Alu Palya. Alu palya was spoilt. Even Dosa was not soft as they used to be earlier. Quality has gone down heavily in recent times

Oldest Hotel in NR Colony. Famous for Khali dosa and neer chutney. Superb taste, quality, price, place, cleanliness at its best. 2wheeler parking is available 4wheeler parking also available but little more distance from hotel.higly recommend to visit and experience the meaning of Khali Dosa.

I like Kaali Dose Chatni, Carrot Halva, etc. Very famous in Basavanagudi area N R Colony. It has got very good name since so many years. Must visit at least once!

The best place for masala dose & set dose. Taste is still same as before. It recalls my child hood memories.

Due to covid 2nd wave and covid guidelines provided by govt, only takeaway service is provided. Packing and food was also tasty and worthy.

A legendary hotel famous for "Khali Dose" & Chutney. I'm a regular customer to this hotel from almost 20 Years. Taste of a Dose or the Chutney has never changed since then.

Thr hotel is reminiscent of Old bangalore. Best place for khaali dosa, rawa wada and khara bath. The hotel staff is very courteous and they don't compromise on quality. It is one of the first darshini in bangalore to have strict covid arrangements in place. Hence feel safe to eat there.

Must try the Delicious breakfast. Really tasty quantity and quality of the food is simply mouth watering. U ca see the rates below.

Just go there if you are hungry. For a fried rice, roti, curry other timely chat are all very tasty. It's ideally priced. The hotel is clean and very ambient. Best for family.

Absolute treat and no idea how I missed it all these years. The place is super popular for khalee dosa but I bet the poori is even more tastier. The saagu is quite different from the rest of hotels. How is plain dosa going to be any different was what I thought but this place proved me wrong. It is absolutely yum. You might have to wait a while for your order as the place is crowded all the time. But don't miss this place

A legendary hotel. I have been eating here since almost 30 years. It tastes the same from then till date. Self service but seating is available. Fast moving and hot item is kaali dosa. Dosa melts in the mouth. Chutney taste is very good and enough serving is done. People come from far off places just to relish the dishes especially dosas. Must visit once.

Food is great especially KHALI DOSA, UPMA. The cleaning of table is done by a cloth which smells rotten. That's a disappointing factor

The best khali dosa in Bangalore. This place operates the old school style and you can experience a bit of old Bangalore here. I am rating this place a 4 star only because of the parking issues.

Very clean place. Food and water is very hygienic. Self-service as well as table service is available. Drinking water is served to your table. If you want to fill your stomach, then have double khali dosa. Coffee is nice.very good hotel.
