I came for dinner yesterday. Briyani is very subpar. Esaki parrota is bad. Food is not at all good here. Quantity is far less compared to price. JK is really losing its ardent fans with these worst food.
Junior Kuppanna is supposed to make and offer Biryani made with Jeera Rice and not a cheap local big rice. When questioned they say it's Jeera Rice and they are clearly cheating everyone.
Overall a very average biryani at an extremely high price.
NO PARKING! And worst behaviour by staff. I was just asking is it safe to park here he was replying like we don’t care about your parking straight away
Horrible experience. After 7 months, we went to this place to have our lunch. It was about 1: 30 pm. We ordered a veg meals, kotthu parota and parotta and veechu. Also a plate of chicken chukka. When my husband ate a piece of chukka, he asked me how it tasted and when I tasted it, it was rotten.
The kottu also was made from old parotta and meals was not gr8. I felt even the rasam served was not fresh.
I understand it is difficult during the pandemic, but serving stale food is heights. I will never go this place again.
Tasteless food, slow service, very less quantity, high price. Only decent thing is the space and seating. They have a good name but I think just this outlet is an exception. Would not recommend this to anyone.
Maintained pretty well. Has adapted precautions to avoid spread of pandemic. Social distancing seats and tables. Good food, looks hygienic. Masks & golves used by the staff. They have 2 wheeler parking. Decent rest rooms. Humble staff, they will serve you with a big smile, even if you're the only customer at the hotel. They have card machine & other digital payment options. Worth a visit! Their biryani has a unique flavour, not too spicy! Must try items: dosa & kottu parathas. Their gravy & chutney has the authentic Tamil household flavour, loved it.
Ambience and service are okay. We ordered brain fry, which had just minimal taste. Fish curry in meal was sour and mutton Biryani was not that good. All in all, not a very good meal.
Good food. Butt he qty is not that great. Very spicy, so better order prior about your level of spice preference. Good fast service. Cost is a bit on the priceir side.
I ordered NV meal. Rice quality was bad n quantity is very less. Any foody will be forced to take extra rice.taste wise its just an average. Not great.
Worst food of all times. Time waste, money waste, and taste buds killed! Adulterants in the food and they don't know what is actually lime soda. This is not a restaurant one should go even if he or she starves to death. Yucky place!
We went to this hotel in mid of february. One of yet another tamilnadu style food available in Bangalore. I have been to branches of this hotel in Hosur and Chennai but felt this branch is not upto the standards of other branches. Ambience wise, it is a decent family hotel. Food wise, taste and quality was also good. Experience wise could have been better when compared with their other branches.
Good place in Bangalore to have Tamil Nadu cuisine. Good menu options with Biriyani, South Indian meals and South Indian style starters. Restaurant in on the first floor in an easily accessible road. Mediocre parking space available in and around the restaurant. Pricing slightly on the expensive side but can't complain as it is one of the few restaurants serving this cuisine. Suitable for both friends and family gatherings.
If you exactly understand this cuisine and visit this restaurant you will not be disappointed. If you are a mutton lover then you will be spoilt for choices. Visited with family and everyone loved the food.
Had Tamil style chicken biriyani here. The chicken pieces were a bit weird in texture. They need to improve the quality of the chicken they use in their biriyani
Taste wise Ok but still need some improvements in Service (this outlet) and Quantity of food. Really annoyed about the running of this outlet with poor Service and behaviour.
We used to get yummy Erode style food. But now everything changed. Food is not authentic as like earlier. Service also gone bad. I wish they employ some good erode area cooks who knows how to prepare traditional erode style non veg
I had a bad experience here. Food is not very good. Biriyani is made with normal rice and it was dry and served cold. It was served like customer are not important to them.
Everything about this place is worst, staff and the one who sits at the counter were having extremely bad behaviour. He was nt even ready to hear our problem and feedback.we ordered mutton biriyani with 2 pieces of bones not flesh (tomato rice would taste better than this) chicken starters smelled (rotten) very bad and it was 2 days old chicken.kotthu parota was very poor with thick dough. Very important is none of the dishes wer hot.i asked to heat it twice.but both the time i was dissapointed with quality quantity becoz they had served the morning prepared dishes at night.after al this i had to cancel the dishes but had to pay fr it.after having tat chicken i had stomach issues.it was a nightmare fr me till now. NEVER EVER GO TO THIS RESTUARENT IN YOUR LIFE unless youbwanna risk ur life and spend money. WORST WORST WORST.
Place is just spoiling the brand of Junior kuppanna. Highly annoyed. Only servers looks South indian. All the chef's who are all working there are North Indians, how can they give the best taste of Tamil foods?
Taste: 2/10 Service: 2 / 10
Earlier it was good. Now it's really bad. Highly annoyed!
One of the worst Junior Kuppanna experience. Of all the branches in different cities this is THE WORST. Chicken Pallipalayam is one of my favourite from JK but this branch has ruined it. Gave us a preboiled chicken just sauted with chilly powder. Same with Naatukozhi Pepper chicken. If you're coming here for their authentic biryani its a disappointment as well.
