Hotel Le Coorg

Room that we were given had windows in 3 walls and the view was very nice. The location is very good and food very tasty. Service was also very good

We have food in their restaurant zaffron. Whenever we are in coorg or passing by to other places.we have food at this place. They serve Punjabi. Chinese. South Indian food.some coorgi chicken items.washrooms are clean.food is fresh and yum.

Pls do not stay at this hotel as there are BED BUGS! We had to vacate the room at 1: 45 A. M.and the staff doesn’t even bother to accept/apologise instead was asking for room rent. Pathetic experience

We stayed in Room no. 101, Room was specious, clean and maintained nicely, Special Thanks to Front desk staffs for their helping nature and Good hospitality, overall it was very good stay. Will visit again

Had been twice to this hotel. It was good. But overall food taste & hygiene was okay. First time we had ordered 4 sandwiches. For that only it costed around ₹1600 & next time we ordered soup, chicken tikka, chicken sheekh kebab, paneer butter masala, paneer tikka, chicken fried rice, jeera rice, tandoori rotis, ice cream, milkshake & juice. It costed around ₹4000.pricey but okay. Not bad.

Worest service, first call you to come to hotel, later they will change price. Went by overcoming heavy traffic. The front desk people are very rude with costomer. I dont suggest this hotel at all. They may threaten costomer. Simply saying we can change our price as per our wish minute to minute. Very odd behavior

I booked a room at 28 June 2023 around 10: 30pm using make my trip while I was on the highway from Bengaluru India, make my trip website showing this hotel as 3star hotel and images posted seems quite okay, since my requirement was only about couple of hours to take some nap while on the journey I booked the hotel and called personally requesting the staff that I am expected to reach at 3am and need to check out by 8am, during this five hours since the time of check in to the room at this hotel I am unable to sleep due to weird noises inside and outside the lobby area, the room 208 at the corner of 2nd floor just above it has a big turbine, boiler that is causing lot of sound and disturbance, hotel staff intentionally allocated this room and since the time of complaint they are pretending as some technical issues that was not expected, however after so much hue and cry, calling upon make my trip and warning the staff raising police complaint against them we have discovered the issue of overhead boiler and turbine machines placed and it’s a regular sound sources and one has to go through or ready to bear these issues while staying at the hotel, please be aware I haven’t slept during my stay and checking out with a lot of disappointment

Rooms are good enough for the family, service too nice.comp breakfast have to improve better

Best hotel in Coorg near Raja seat. Food is also good and people working over there are really helpful and helping. If you want to visit Coorg then book it.

Really good hotel to stay with Family. We were 14 people and this hotel just did Justice. Ganapathy at front desk is really nice guy and he really ensures the guest comfort. You could ask him for site seeing arrangements. Only thing they should improve is on the comforters and bedspreads which needs to be up to mark. Really recommend this place for families.

Though located in Madikeri town but not much worth to stay.

Pros:
Sanitized all the places. Rooms are neat and clean and hotel attendee was supportive.

Cons:
1. Hotel doesn't provide moisturizer, shower gel and shampoo.
2. They provided Complimentary breakfast but it was very worst. No varieties provided just idly, dosa, bread, milk and omelette. That also not that much good. Could have given better for this cost.
3. Lunch and dinner also very costly at zaffron Restaurant in this hotel.

Had worst experience. Booked for two nights. Room service is bad. TV and phone was not worked. Night times mice will roam on roof and makes noise and u will not get sleep.beds are not good. They will attach and give for family. Room cleaning will not be done if u stay for more than one day.

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, & the staff was amazing and supportive as well. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting downtown (L).

Very good hospitality, front desk boys are well behaved. They even packed some food for my 3 years old kid from the breakfast spread.

Hotel is good in terms of location, friendly staff, rooms are ok restaurant's food was really good. But I felt service people are not so well professionally groomed and most strange thing was they don't have money to recharge the d2h in the room, after my repetitive request to reception and service people they didn't resumed the D2h which was strange.

Worst experience. But all staffs are superb. Breakfast menu was extremely yakki. Every day same. We booked through yatra. So they provided very small room. Room fan didn't worked for two days we booked for 3 night and when we complain they asked us to adjust. Damnnn. We are in holiday to get royal servit not to adjust.then they told us yo use the achi that was also not working. Worst ext

Room service people were helpful.
Reception people were very professional and helpful.

Negatives:
Charge was more than 3 times of normal rate during Christmas holidays.
Lunch was average.

One of the plus points of Hotel Le Coorg is, that it is situated in the heart of Madikeri and is very convenient to travel to the tourist spots. The hotel staff were very helpful in arranging the local tour and also coordinated with the taxi services on our behalf. We had a pleasant experience at Hotel Le Coorg, and the staff took utmost care in ensuring that the rooms were sanitized 48 hours before we checked in and were not handed over to any customers during this period. They always attended to our requests to make our stay a peaceful one. Due to the pandemic, we were initially apprehensive about going to Coorg, but the hotel staff had taken all the precautionary measures and ensured the customer comfort was their number one priority.
The meals served by the restaurant (Hotel Zaffron) was amazing and their complimentary breakfast is something I looked forward to every morning.
The hotel staff (Mr. Jony, Mr. Ganapathy, Mr. Chetan and Mr. Varun) were extremely kind and professional and we personally would like to thank them for making our trip memorable.
We are extremely pleased with their hospitality and would definitely recommend this to anyone who wish to spend a peaceful time in Coorg.

The best ever hotel service was being provided by them. Sweet and kind gesture by staff mr.manas and mr.rajesh. Even the food at their hotel zaffran was tasty.

I had an amazing experience in this hotel. It has premium quality rooms with all modern furnishing. The hotel has an amazing view as soon as you get out! The food service and the food itself are just fabulous. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel if you happen to visit Coorg.

Went for lunch.
1. Worst service.they are tortoise
2.even after late service, food quality is just average.
3. They will serve rotten onions in salads unless you ask them to change.

Stay was good.
Clean and tidy.
Staffs were co operative.
Food was decent, but could have added more variety for complimentary bf.
Apart from that, hotel is near to bus station.

Had a great stay here. Very prompt service with a beautiful view overlooking the city and easy access to restaurants and other shops. Food was great and the staff was exceptionally helpful. Forgot my phone there and they called us to notify us immediately. Would definitely recommend to consider staying at the Le Coorg Hotel.

Well this hotel is good. Yes it is quite costly though having a great quality. Some of the staffs were so friendly and so good to us like John in the management and the restaurant staffs. Saturday and Sunday there is a great rush here and thus we were not able to choose our desirable room as we were late. And there were issues regarding the lights of the washroom. But they without being informed by us repaired it very soon. The packages are good. I would definitely recommend this place.

Rooms and bathrooms are clean. Food quality is above expectation. But yes though the price is a bit higher than other hotels, it gives better services than other.

I found no hospitality and service. There was a delay in the food and even the waiter did not seem like responding to our issue. Where we was survied with spoiled fruit jucie. One of the bad experience I had. Not suggestive

Nice hotel, staff are helpful, tasty food, children play area (paid) is there, lift is available, beautiful surroundings, Auto stand is near by, breakfast is good buffet, no disturbance in rooms, complete hill area and good for morning walk

I had been with my friends, experienced the worst so called “ kulkki Sarbath “. The worst part was the blockage in the straw and we was not able to sip the juice. They served us with spoiled watermelon juice where each glass cost around ₹70. They used spoiled pudina leafs for topping which was literally stinking. The service was toooo late and the waiter did respond well. It was not served chilled. One of worst hotel and not deserving to stay in coorg. Even it dosent deserves single star#seerani.
