It's a nice place to have Kerala style food. Pocket friendly and tasty. Service and ambience is pretty amazing compared to the price you pay for your food. No compromise on quality or quantity either. A must go place if uou love Mallu Food
The gravy is too much oily and too much food colour.quality and authentic taste is not there. The price is too high compared to other hotel.it's just a Kerala hotel as any other.nothing special about this hotel.
Simple food.fresh and decent tasting. Ideal for times when you want to eat a quick, hot, homemade meal. Had vegetarian meals and fish fry. The fish was fresh. The place can be a little brighter. It is a small place and the dim lights make it feel smaller. Definitely worth the money spent.it's easy on the pocket.
Nice dry black beef fry available here. Dine in there one time for porota and beef fry. The spice bitten tongue was then complimented with tea. That was nice. I want to dine there again.
Not for a daily dine in.it's moderately expensive. They collect money for food different times different price.no price published or shared. When we have a group dining for a single porota different price.if curry buy for single porota (in a group) the price is less for porota.
Don't make online delivery with this restaurant. It's been more than an hour to delivery within 800mts. I had to cancel after 1.30hours. Ordering elsewhere.
Good Kerala food at reasonable price. They have own delivery. You can call them and order ahead if you are planning for takeaway. Accepts all mode of payment.
Very casual n arrogant behavior. This will work in kerala and not karnataka. Especially Bangalore. Rear side hell n stinks. When u r desperate for kerala food n hungry pls visit. Rest is OK. Pricing taste ambience OK.
This is a lovely place for quick tasty "Mallu Food" (Kerala cuisine). The breakfast usually has appam, Idiappam, poori, dosa and puttu. All these dishes have decent malabar taste. The sides that can go with above is Aloo Bhaji for poori, chicken curry, chicken roast, egg curry, egg roast, kadala curry, cherupayar curry (moong), beef curry and beef roast. You can also get boiled eggs and omelettes. End up this with a lovely mallu tea and your day would kick start with a bang.
Had to wait for 1hour to for appam and egg roast and appam was like rubber and curry was like yellow pepper water and onions also raw not properly cooked.
Simbly best place to have kerala dishes. Good thing is they are best simple very family approachable place comparing to 5 more kerala restaurants. They do have appam n idiyappam served in night usually most of the Kerala restaurants serves majorly parotta n Chappati n chicken. All time best time to be.
Typical kerala mess. Having a decade of relationship with restaurant and seen all transformation. The taste & Quality still maintained. Appam & Idiyappam with non-veg curries are delicious.fish curry meals with fried fish is good combination.
Pretty good food, inexpensive, focused more towards Kerala Cuisine. Do not have a lot of menu options, but whatever is available, is decent. Friendly staff, neat and clean place. Good choice for pocket friendly meal.
Had an waiting hour for 45 mins for porattas. They attend tables, than who are waiting for take aways. Egg curry was just ok type. But porattas was good.
Hotel Malabar is one of my favourite restaurants to grab a lip smacking south indian cuisine, its little tricky to locate this restaurant as it lies deep in streets. The restaurant has a calm ambiance and a clean surrounding. The restuarant is small and can get crowded during busy hours. One of the best place in Bangalore for good quality and less price Kerala food. It's a small restaurant and not much of an ambience and all. I have been eating from this place for past years and never experienced any issues in terms quality and taste of the food. Must try dishes are egg roast, poth fry, beef curry, chicken pepper masala and biriyani. Worth your money. The best part is the Kerala parota, really soft and yum! Meals are the best part. If you are the one craving for typical Kerala meal, it's a must try.
Real taste of kerala traditional foods. They serve puttu, appam, idiyappam, kappa, boiled rice meals. The taste is good. Service is also good. Average prices. Good for families as well as bachelors. Have good parking space for bikes but four wheelers may find difficult to get a parking space. Can order directly or through delivery apps
Very affordable place for kerala food. They don't have too many variety in the menu but it is really value-for-money. Also does home delivery to the neighborhood.
Worst food even worst customer service aswell the fish fry was stone cold sent it back to heat it up but still came out cold one star is only for the fish curry tht to avg not like crazy awesome nd all the plc just sucks
A typical mallu restaurent where you will get nice tea. I liked the tea very much. Tried appam kadala curry and porotta pepper chicken combos as well. The first one is ok and 2nd combo is not upto the mark. The chicken was not well cooked it seems to be. Menu wise this point is pocket friendly.
