KSTDC Hotel Mayura Pavithra, Yediyur

Though our destination was Chikmagalur but we decided to break it in Yediur. Kunigal, KSTDC Hotel, Hotel Mayura Pavithra, Yediyur. It is around 80 km.from Bangalore. The place is besides national highway: . It was already dusk before our arrival. Huge compound of the hotel building surrounded in green with some very old trees standing silently. We were a little bit sceptical about the lonesome look. A person appeared to welcome us. We stepped in side the hotel lobby. The manager welcomed us. The entire lobby looks clean with proper sitting. We have been allocated to room No. 1&2. Both double bedded. With AC and geyser. In the meantime our luggages have been shifted from our car to our rooms. We were the only guests in the hotel. Both the rooms were quite big, with the proper furnishings, with a big bathroom with all necessary fittings. The best part is its cleaniness. Clean rooms with clean upholstery, clean out side sofas and green plants.
I stepped outside the building to enjoy the evening breeze amidst dark green surrounding. Running vehicles on the highway is visible like a muted movie, with hardly any sound. That indeed was a relief from sound pollution.
Anil introduced himself. He is the head cook cum valet cum what not, like the character Jeeves. For every problem he has got the solution. We placed our order for some evening snax and decided menu for our dinner. As we were the only guests, preparing the food as per our choice was time consuming and also subject to availability of the ingredients. We have enjoyed the snacks in the comfort of our room leisurely.
Dining room is separate and a spacious joint. With glass windows in all sides, you can enjoy the well-planned lighting amidst green dark contures. Running vehicle lights on the dark highway made the scene mesmerizing. The sitting arrangement comfortable for five of us including our seven year old grandson. Anil served us as per our choice including child’s menu.
Next day we had to leave for Chikmagalur after breakfast. Anil suggested us to visit a nearby temple, the Sri Yediyuru Siddhalingeshwara Swami Temple…just 2 kms from the hotel and perform the darshan/puja. We can return to hotel after that and finish our breakfast, and proceed towards Chikmagalur
Eventhough our stay was a brief one but the entire service and perfection in maintenance Mayura was going to compete with any high end renowned hotels no doubt. I wish them all the best, and wish to comeback again.

2 hours from Bangalore on the highway side. Well maintained rooms. Food was very good.

Spacious room, AC is good. Best place to stay at affordable prices.

We started here as we were visiting the town for a friend's wedding and he had booked this place for us to stay back.

The place is huge, parking is ample, the rooms are spacious. The only issue is there is no cross ventilation in the rooms. The heat was unbearable. Otherwise in a cooler evening the stay would have been more comfortable.

The kitchen was open until about 23: 00. The did make us omlette, egg bhurji and pakoda.

Today I went to have some evening snacks. I ate Masala Puri.
Every one can visit it.

I ate the North Indian meals the food was very good the service was great but the hotel could have been renovated and the a/c restaurant was closed

Had a satisfactory "South Indian Meal".
It was a pitstop for KSRTC Rajahamsa Bus passengers. (CKM TO BLR).
Huli Sambar was too good

We booked AC room for 1 night stay as there was wedding in Srinivasa Kalyana mantapa, room was very spacious and clean. Didn't try food there and not taken any other services. Atmosphere was awesome, could get beautiful pictures around, best place for photoshoot and has decent kids play area also.

Food was ok. Staff was struggling to serve the bus load of people who were given 30 minutes to order pay eat and use washrooms which were clean.

Stopped for the lunch (30/12) at KSDTC Yediyur. Well maintained place. The lunch served by Mr. Keshav and team was good. Keep up the good work….

Generally all KSRTC buses stops while your coming back from Mangalore for Lunch or Dinner depending on the timings. This was really nice and the good part was the rest rooms were neat and clean. The food served was quick and fast and tasty as well. Do not expect too tasty food however it was not all bad. The hotel was kept neat and hygienic. Good parking space and few other shops for a casual shopping. The hotel is big and spacious for comfortable seating.

Excellent coaching with affordable price, faculties are very good.they help us in clearing all our doubts easy to learn and easy to understand

Service is good, food tastes average for the price they charge. Seems it's overpriced for the food but the service is quick and the place is hygiene. Restrooms are also clean. They have a charging point for the EVs. Overall an average place for vegetarian options.

It says approved by KSRTC Tourism, price is high simple pani puri is 70 for the average fillings & taste,

Food:
We visited the place for lunch. The menu had South Indian options; it was hot, decent and fresh. The usual.

Ambience:
The ambience is quite okay, nothing extraordinary. A normal restaurant. The maintenance of the washrooms wasn't that great; typical to that of a restaurant by the highway!

Service and Staff:
The service was quick and decent.

Value for money:
Surprisingly, the food is slightly pricier for the ambience and food. (Perhaps it's because on a highway)

1st thing is location is very good, easily visible from the highway but very peaceful and calm. Clean, safe and secure.

Hospitality & service is good.
Good food options & restaurant in same premises. Breakfast was really good. Friendly stuff. Good service. Big rooms. AC Fan & TV were working fine. 24hrs Hot water in bathroom.

No cupboard in rooms. Though wall hangers are available in specific places in room and bathroom.

We went on 14th Aug and checked out on 15tg Aug'22. We booked two AC delux rooms, prices we paid were quite higher than usual, probably because it was a long weekend.

THERE WERE NO COMPLEMENTARY BREAKFAST OR ANYTHING (usually from our experience, we have seen in maximum of KSTDC Mayura offers complementary breakfast atleast.) yes they gave us bathroom kit complementary.

It's not too old property, just in service since Jan '22 as we came to know from the manager. Huge empty space available, which yet to develop, but overall property is clean.

Only bad thing 1st i noticed is, 5 colorful flags are fixed at the entry gate and they are badly damaged. I would like to request the authority to change them immediately. Its looking too bad and spoiling the brand image.

Overall very peaceful and relaxing stay.
Hospitality was good and good stuff.

This 1 star is for water bottle. Food is not good, if you are visiting around 2pm here for food better order curd rice. Don't order anything.

Reached late night here after getting drenched in rain during my ride. The caretakers where very polite and helpful.

Bit expensive but taste is good in consideration while travelling.

Worst experience on my trip to madikeri.
Waiters are living in their own world, they don't listen to you. Food was old and cold. Also, there was a fly in my sister's tea and the teacups were dirty. Don't visit, it will ruin your travel.

Very bad service and food. Too costly
Attitude towards customer from the counter guy is very bad. Wont recommend.

Pulao is very spicy and the waiter didn't warn or mention about it even after seeing us with a kid. Had dal fry and roti and taste was good. It's a pure Veg restaurant. Restrooms are maintained well. Surprisingly they had the car charging point as well. There was enough parking space but lack of shade. If they would have had shaded parking it would be nice.

One of the Best Hotel, Well Maintained Rooms, Clean Restaurant, Tasty Food. Best Place for family to enjoy the day in greenary. KSTDC Maintained it well.

Must visit the hotel.
Highway Travellers can enjoy the best service. It's on Kunigal Higway, have a lot of parking area, beautiful garden
