Only 5 rooms but need Repair. We had a problem such as no water in tao, Geyser not working, door lock jamming, long power cuts and limited breakfast option. But still did not find it challenging as there is nothing to do other than sit in Hoysala temple premise on opposite side of the street + what do you expect in a village.

The best budget hotel very close to Hoysaleswara temple, also referred simply as the Halebidu temple, the 12th-century Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva.

Best option for stay in halebeedu.
Rooms are good and affordable.
Clean property.
Need much improvement inFood quality.
They serves limited option of food.

PERFECTLY LOCATED STAY. Clean, Safe, Friendly Helpful, Smiley staff, limited menu But Excellent Indian Food!
It is located directly across the street from Halebidu temple and a 3-5 minute walk from 3 Jain temples and 1 other Hoysala Hindu temple and 3 minute walk from the local market and bus stand to Hassan train station (40 scenic minutes away) and Belur temple (30 scenic minutes away) and 1hr and 40 minutes from Gommateshwara giant Jain temple/statue.

for all of our day trips and drop off at Hassan train station.he was always on time, reliable, clean, and safe. His prices were very reasonable!
The surrounding areas are plush green farmland and small villages that are remarkably tidy and clean.
I enjoyed my stay at the hotel and in the surrounding countryside so much I extended my stay by quite a few days and road tripped back and forth between other sites.
The Halebidu temple sculpture work and layout.are on a level of their own. Exquisitely and masterfully sculpted. I visited 3 times.
Do stay here.it will be a memorable experience. AND DO NOT USE OLA CAB SERVICE (they are NOT affiliated with the hotel). OLA CAB SERVICE IS A SCAM AND HEADACHE AFTER YOU ARRIVE AT YOUR DESTINATION!

The only stay option in Halebidu if you are planning to spend a night at this small town of karnataka. It’s maintained alright. Being a government property it has one of the best locations- right opposite Hoysaleshwara Temple.

Rooms are decently clean. Bathroom are okay - toilet flush does not work. There is hot water available 24*7. Towels provided are not clean enough. Biotique toiletries are provided but no tissue roll.

Staff is fine. We did not taste the food here.

Overall an okay experience. We stayed one night in a non AC room and one night in the AC room.

️Worst compare to any KSTDC hotels. The food is not that good, their is no proper TV connection, better to opt Belur KSTDC.
May be the workers there are looting the food products and providing the worst food for unreasonable price.
They must learn to be truthful for their work.

Clean, bigger rooms and good for family stay. Close to the temple and a place for kids to play within the premise. Good canteen facility.

I don't reffer this place to anyone. Please go to Belur KSTDC. Its far better place to stay.

Rooms were good. Bathroom is spacious and neat. Frankly it is a well maintained accommodation in such a sparsely populated place. Food menu was also limited but tasty. Only concern was the mattress. Definitely a good place to stay

Rooms are clean. Hotel is small but well maintained and staff is extremely helpful. Location is excellent - just opposite to the archaeological site (temple).

It's excellent place and it's exactly opposite to Halebeedu Archaelogical Site. Food options in the stay is limited but there are restaurants and shops very nearby the location.

Staff (especially the one who sits in cash counter) are not good in treating customers. I am a localite. When we visit hotel with my friend travellers, they never bothered about us. And they are very careless, they even don't ask for us what we want and why we are there for. The treatment towards us is not polite. When we visit hotel they just simply sit in their chair cross legged. And they are changing 30 Rs.per coffee/tea. It's not worth it, quantity is less and not that tasty too.

Location wise good place & May be the only place of accommodation in Halebeedu also have a restaurant with a good cook. If you wish to stay here better book in advance as there are only 4-5 rooms. You have to book online.

Sticky floors, broken geyser and a grumpy caretaker. A very disappointing stay. The only saving grace is that the location is good.

Just opposite temple complex, great location, nice basic amenities with ample parking space and courteous staff. Worth for money spent.

Nice location, just opposite to the Halebidu temple. However, we could find all sort of insects, even a family of centipede in our room, that was a bit scary. Otherwise it was spacious, staff were polite too.

Location was good, exactly opp. Hoysaleshwara Temple. Rooms were clean and spacious. But food was really bad and same was the attitude of staff.

The food was horrible. Not worth the money you spend. I don't know why govt.maintained institutions are like this. If you do not stay there then I suggest go to any other local hotel get good food.

We made a mistake going here. Limited tables, items in the menu isn't really available. They don't care what the taste of the food is. Maybe because they are govt.employees.

When is the last time you paid 100 Rupees for a awful Jeera rice?

We had stopped for lunch, good place with fresh chappati and kurma. They were kond enough to allow our car to be parked inside while we visited halebidu temple.

This is a decent hotel, opposite the Hoysaleshwara temple. The fare is limited though. They used to serve a good thali, but they've stopped this. Now they serve some north-Indian and desi Chinese fare. But the food is quite good and served hot. I specifically asked for non-spicy dal and they obliged. Their prices are reasonable.

This is the only place to stay with family in Halebeedu. The room was clean and comfortable. Most importantly the food is the highlight. It was very tasty. Stay was memorable.

Good stay for the price paid. Excellent location. Exactly opposite to the hoysaleswar temple, walking distance from jain temple and kedaraeswara temple, next to halleibidu bus stand. Not at all difficult to find this place. Huge property, lots of greenery, bi.g rooms, big washrooms, with all basic amenities. Restaurant with decent food. Curteous staff

The KSTDC hotel is located across the street from the famous Hoysaleshwar temple and about 200 m from the Halebeedu Bus stand. Huge property. Ill lit at night. Had excellent GPS, so found it.

Accomodation is about adequate. Plenty of giant sized mosquitoes. So one needs to keep the door closed. Mattress is very soft. Water is hard. So the tiny soap provided barely suffices.

Cook is good. But he needs a pep talk and some deft handling to prepare an excellent dinner and breakfast for us.

Adequate staff is available. Needs a good manager to control and provide quality service.

On the whole; location excellent, accomodation average. Food is good.

Had been this place for lunch. They have limited menu items but what ever they serve is freshly prepared and tasty food and price is also moderate. They have better parking space and a better hotel near to Halebeedu

It's a hotel managed by KSTDC (Karnataka Tourism). The hotel has both indoor and outdoor seating. I went there to have lunch. I had meals which was fresh and tasty.
But the service is very bad. All the customers are managed by a single person. Even tasks like serving, providing bill and payment is done by the same person. So they will take some time to take your orders. Not sure whether this happens everyday.
I would suggest to order normal meals because this item is readily available. Other items will take 20 to 30 mins to be prepared.

This is a kstdc owned place.
Very good clean spacious rooms and bathroom as well (quite big ones).
Courteous staff as well.
Overall a very pleasant experience

Limited choice but freshly made food.restaurant is very dull.just tables and plastic chairs.ventilation is limited. Outdoor seating is available but not advisable due to mosquitoes.

It's needed to improve by increasing their prices. Today we have taken South Indian Thali by paying only ₹130/-. It was very besic food with daal, Samba, rasam, card, rice, one roti and simui er payes. But the quality of the food have to be improved. There was so chillies in sambar or other.just teears came out. Payasam of ' Simui' was made by watery milk.
And last but not the list, toilets was locked, caretaker's room also located up.

This Hotel is just infront of halibeedu temple so this is one of the best thing about this place and even the jain temple is very near from here. The room is good and big and washroom is also big and clean but the problem is you have to face cockroaches yes you heard it right there were some cockroaches in our room but i think this is normal as every hotel has this same issue. The food of hitel is average. Its depend what you order but i do recommend you coffee it was too good.

A really nice place for vegetarians with a small but good choice of menu just opposite to Hoysaleshwara temple, Halebeedu. It has a small garden restaurant with variety of plants around it and butterflies flying around (Rainy season). Very tasty and quality food. Though a bit costly the food is qualified to be paid so much for it. Good service and a pleasing atmosphere.

Located at a prominent place. A pakka vegetarian hotel. Have decent parking space. Cleanliness can be improved inside and outside the restaurant

Nice place for stay in Halebidu right opposite to the main temple with a lot of space and good tree cover. I think this is one of the best places for stay availabe in this region.
