Hotel Mayura Vijayanagara, TB Dam

Service is pathetic, food is below average.
Hospitality is very bad.only reception team is responsive other staff is unprofessional.
Only advantage is it’s located next to TB dam. Bathrooms are unhygienic.

Good property but services are worst, even the person manning reception do not sit on chair, I had to search and found him after 10 minutes similarly there was nobody at the bar and had to search him again Restaurent served uncooked potato’s Go only of other options are not available

Mayura is maintained by KSTDC and I had the opportunity to stay here because of my North Karnataka tour. The rooms are great and service is satisfactory for something which is maintained by the government. Across all Mayuras I have felt the food and establishments are very standard and this hotel is no different. Not sure how the prices, booking and availability of rooms vary if booked externally but it is great if you are doing one of the KSTDC bus tours.

Nice hotel. Good staff. Rooms are good. It's very old hotel, you will feel vintage touch. It's have all modern amenities.

The hotel and restaurant were good, The food was not as good as expected. The restaurant is neat and clean and well maintained. Staff behaviour is nice but not the best. The area around the hotel is not maintained. A little outside the city.

Service and courtesies are awesome. Service options are limited. They should provide towels before check-in. Restaurant should have more choices. Lifts should be added for old age people. Hot water kettle should be given.

Hard to believe that this is government maintained. Clean and well maintained. Courteous staff. Monkeys on the property but not a hindrance. Good location close to tungabhadra dam. Food is decent. Used via kstdc

Nice place to stay, Spacious clean rooms, Good taste and quality of food, walkable distance to TB Dam, and 14 kms away from Hampi (Virupaksha, Matang, Other places of interest)
Mr. Kevin (Manager) was very helpful to guide.
One can stay if travelled by owned vehicle

The rooms were clean and comfortable and staff were very hospitable and cooparative and tasty food served with higene.

Truly a great place to stay, clean tidy rooms, good food at the restaurant, very hostile staff and really close to T. B Dam. Worth the price they charge!

Room were well maintained. It is located very near to TB Dam. Restaurant has limited menu items but what ever was on menu will be tasty food.
Recommended for stay if you are visiting Hospete and TB Dam.

We have stayed in Hotel Mayura Vijayanagara TB Dam for 3 days. Although the building is old but rooms are renovated with modern amenities. Neat room and bathroom, with flat screen TV and AC. Ample parking spaces are available. Near to TB around 100 Mtrs.
A very special thanks to the property manager Kevin he was very calm and polite and made stay more comfortable. Really appreciated.

Some improvements can be done:
More options for Breakfast.

Very near to TB Dam. Well cleaned room and bathroom. Food is also decent. Friendly staff.
Only issue was -Wifi was not available, however network coverage was good inside room.

Excellent Service provided by staff during my 3 days stay. Good service and food. Staff including manager, housekeeping, reception are very friendly, polite, supportive.

Renovated, clean hygienic rooms.very close to highway and Tungabhadra dam. 10 kms to hampi.ideal for transit stay and also to visit hampi

The food at mayura hotel was horrible.evertime i finish dinner, i get stomach issues
It was so hot in the room, when asked for AC room they denied
The hot water for drinking was so pathetic it has foul smell each time, except once.
More precisely the food is very dangerous and don't have much options too.

Stayed 10 days back, for three days. Nice and calm location, about 4 kms from city centre. Rooms are spacious, recently renovated with good bath fixtures, wall paper, neat mattress, Staff are courteous, with good behaviour, reception staff Ms jayasudha and Ms Vijayalalakshmi deserve special mention for their pleasing response to all our queries and tourist information. Large and well kept dining place is another plus point, food was good, rates are reasonable, but options for breakfast need improvement, also daily news paper for each room can be considered. Overall we enjoyed our stay, our plan was to stay for one day here and two days in city, but considering the plus points and as we had our vehicle, stayed here for all three days.

Because the lunch, brack fast & diner is werst in this plase so don't eat in this place but the roms are goo

It's a kind of no frills hotel, water bottle, hot water kettle, mini fridge are not provided. Food is good at the restaurant. Ample parking spaces are available. Wi-Fi is available only in the reception area.

Nice and cozy place. I visited for a pit stop with all my relatives for a wedding. Clean place but I did not try the food. Toilets are clean and well maintained

Staff were courteous. The facilty is renovated but can be improvised further. Food was a little expensive for the quantity given mainly due to covid lockdown.

Nice hotel well maintained clean and tidy. Good food. I enjoyed dosa with gree wonderful breakfast.
