Food was good. Fish meal is kind of different here (not like Mangalorean or Kerala fish meal) curry won't be having any fish in fish meals, we have to take seperate fry to our liking. We took pomfret masala fry and rawa tava fry. It was good. Meals wi be having only rice and simple curry and vegitable palya. There is plenty of non vegitarian and seafood options in menu.

It's one of the good place for food in Kumta. As it is in market place parking is biggest issue.
Service is very good. Dont ask for Menu, the waiter will suggest you the best dish. Except for American chicken rest everything was delicious.
Don't ask for soft drink better go for fresh lime soda sweet and salt.

Highly recommended hotel in kumta. We were on a week's trip from Bangalore on bike. Finding this place for lunch was our luck by chance. Sea foods are a must try esply ghee prawns tawa roast. Yummy! And also their Bhatkal style biriyani was again yummmmm. You must also try the local soda in the restaurant. Best in class service and reasonable price. Must must try if you are foodie and want to try exquisite cuisine.

Still the best restaurant in Kumta for delicious fish, chicken and mutton delicacies. The Ghee roast is a crowd favourite. Very highly recommend

Had been to this place yesterday and happens to be in the interiors of kumta. Car parking is not available so you got to find a place on the sides of a busy street next to it. The entrance is small and you have to walk a bit inside. Food is tasty and good. Ghee roast chicken has a dash of sweetness in it so it's not the typical mangalore style one and I had clam sukka which was good as it had only meat n sukka in it without the shells. Ademeen tawa fry was wonderful and so was the staff and the manager here. Overall it was a good experience and I did see some tandoori fried chicken outside which I cudnt try here. Had the rice rotti which has rumali roti texture on it but it's really good. Other than this cleanliness and service is good here

Good food. Chicken Rara with Akki roti was good. Rava fried pomfret was fresh, but a bit too much masala batter. Service was prompt.

This was our last meal at kumta and i must say it was definitely worth it! Not only the sea food but also the chicken was soo yummy!

The place has good food but the ambience is very unfriendly, please go with a large group, wouldn't suggest this place for solo female travellers.

Fish thali is very good with fresh fish of our choice. Chicken Rara as advised by the owner went excellent with tandoori roti. Crispy panneer was also amazing. Enjoyed the meal.

I want to rate less than a star, pathetic taste. Please avoid this restaurant. We ordered tandoori Chicken and seafood. Fish and prawns was overcooked no juice inside them, it was rubbery and chicken was undercooked.

Delicious seafood, one of the best places to eat in Kumta. Prices are very reasonable and service is quick.

Travelled all the way from Gokarn to this so called restaurant in Kumta after reading the reviews (all of which are fake.please don't trust them). The owner Raghavendra is extremely rude. Our order was delayed by more than 45 minutes though they were only 2 other customers. Apparently their cook had disappeared from the kitchen and they were scrambling here and there to give dishes to the table. We ordered their masala fry and rava fry.both were very salty.when we enquired with the owner Raghavendra he says their preparation is like this only.we paid the full amount.extremely dissatisfied with their food and would not recommend this seafood restaurant to anyone.pls avoid it at any cost

We were 8 of us who visited this place for dinner. The place holds good for a traditional and authentic costal food. Great fish, chicken, rice among other dishes. Service is great. Place is run by brother who are very welcoming and strictly follow professionalism.
This place would be a great choice if you happen to stop by Kumta.

This eatery I got to know by only through G maps and I really have to say I was genuinely satisfied by the experience and food I got here. The price is reasonable and all the items like fish chicken and veg were also good. My only query is that they could have given an option for boiled rice rest all is good for the price they ask. And also make place for parking spot we had to search for as there was no parking space nearby.

Very Tasty Food. All fish items cooked are coconut oil are exceptional. The Tandoor items are a class apart. The best part is the rates are very reasonable.

Best hotel to visit in kumta its just 3 to 4 km away from kumta beach, it was suggested by a local guy he said its one the best hotel to have fresh and tasty seafood, yeah it was really good, plenty of items in menu.

Superb in town all chicken and mutton items are superb, seafood is also superb must try anjal masala fry.

Thought it was a good restaurant in kumta, but ended up having a bad experience. We placed the order for chicken biryani (being a great fan of biryani) we were eagerly waiting for the food to arrive, once we got the food we realized that the biryani rice was not at all fresh, felt like it was cooked a before a day or two. When we questionEd the owner we dint even get the proper answer for this.instead of eating nonveg here I would rather prefer going to the veg restaurant like Panduranga international.

Great place for seafood esp fish and prawns. Ask what's the fresh catch for the day in fish as that varies. Usually pomfret and paplette aren't normal. If available, go for their belanji/manjali fish curry (silver fish curry) and rice. They make it really well. I want a huge fan of their shellfish sukka (also known as kubbe sukke as they weren't cleaned properly. So I kept getting grit that wasn't a pleasant experience.
The ambience isn't the best but that shouldn't deter you. They have an air conditioning sitting that's private and better for large groups so opt for it if available.
You can also try their fish thali that itself is a sumptuous meal- contains bangda fry, curry and rice. The only thing I wouldn't order is their rice/ maida roti - it's like eating rubber.
Overall a great place for spicy seafood - they won't mind adjusting the spice level.
