Hotel New Uday Bhuvan

Uday Bhuvan service was earlier good
However it is worst now
We have been going there since last 8 years
But due to their poor service we have decided not to go again into such poorly managed hotels

You have to call them 3- 4 times for room service such as for soaps or luggage checkout

Also owner behaviour is very rude
They don't even keep breakfast for you if you reached a bit late

Cleanliness of rooms is poor

It is dharmashala now and not hotel anymore

Even after all this there room rent is very high as compared to what others offering at same price

The location on our way to Gokarna made us chose this place. But the room did not deserve at the charge of ₹ 1980/- for one night. Do not have their own 4 wheeler parking.it has to be on the road only.
The wall infront of the bed had all the marks of water seepage showing that they can not mend the place regularly. The water tap in the bathroom was leaking the whole time. The charge included complementary breakfast but morning tea must be paid. Could not taste the breakfast as we vacated our room at 7.30 am.
Staff was of very helping nature.

A clean and hygienic place to stay in Belagavi, easy to locate, tasty food and well connected even by public transport.

The top floor is fabulous for mini functions like the engagement ceremony cradle ceremony birthday celebration etc.

It is a lodging. There are three function halls for arranging various functions. Good food. They take all responsibilities to make the function success.

Even though New Uday Bhuvan is in a good location in Belagavi, the quality of rooms and service is poor. We had following positives and negatives:
negative:
1. The bedsheets, pillow covers and towels do not look clean. They may be too aged or not correctly washed. They are full of yellow and brown stains. Also, some strange smell in the room, similar to the fungus on the bed.
2. The bathroom ceiling was leaking. The water from upper bathroom was seeping into lower bathroom, and the dripped on our body when we were brushing/toileting/bathing. We called reception regarding this, the person at the reception said "OK" and hung the phone. There was no action taken about this.
3. Cockroaches roaming around on the bed.
4. Rates are confusing and manipulated. When I called for reservation, the guy gave me a rate estimate for our rooms. Also, on the previous day, he gave a lower total estimate. However, when we checked out on the next day, he gave a total bill which was much higher. We mentioned that we had discussed the rates with the other person, he acted that he is trying to call the other guy, and not able to connect. After this drama however he argued that our rooms were deluxe rooms, and that the rates are fixed as displayed on the card in the front, and refused to stick to the estimate given by other person. We also mentioned about bathroom leaks, and he had no reply, and rudely kept doing other work. We were getting delayed for our next destination, so we paid as per his bill and left.positive:
1.location is close to all the shopping and transportation etc.
2.complimentary breakfast and coffee was good.

Overall disappointed with the experience. They need some lessons about cleanliness, service and honesty.

The service of the hotel was very bad, the waiter had to be called 10 times, even then there was no response. The response came only after shouting.

Had been here for a cousins function. They have a mini party hall and the food tastes quite good

Descent rooms they have party hall also available before booking please do confirm the hotel as they have 3 different hotels near by

Waiters are found to be gossiping about the guests as well laughing on their face while we eat. Bad management of waiters. Nice place to Pay and feel uncomfortable. Thanks!

The breakfast served is tasty and fresh. The rooms are ok. We stayed in Deluxe AC double room for 4 days. We were received by manager, Mr. Shintre, who is very rude and non-cooperative. Absolutely didn't like his approach. But, other staff is very understanding. The management should consider providing kettle, tea bags etc.at least in AC rooms.

So disappointing with the services. Dont know why it is 4 star hotel. Only rooms are in Good conditions. No food available. They handed us 3yrs back menu to us for food order. But nothing was availble. Pure vegetarian. If you want something to eat then you have to visit there nearby hotel or we have to give them money for auto or something so they can go and take your order from there. Room services are not available on time. Less man power also. Roadside hotel it is.

Nice and cleaned hotel. Rooms are very nice and ll matined. Complimentey breakfast also very tasty.

Suitably located. Nearer for people coming from Goa. Morning breakfast is complimentary. Rooms are clean. Room service people are well behaved.

A well known hotel of belgaum. A well budget hotel with all service to hand. I would recommend this hotel for stay in belgaum.

A good environment and a A/C hall available with quality food served very good for small celebrations like Birthday and Small family functions

I visited Pramartha Niketan. And I stayed in this Lodge.
Lodge which I stayed was a Non-Ac room but it was cooler than I expected.
You get complimentary breakfast between 8: 30 - 9: 30.
The lodge do not offer lunch or dinner however you can order tea. The people working are very friendly and poliet. If you visit Hari Mandir do stay in this Lodge. Else if you want o save money there are Bhakta nivas which offer rooms at very cheap cost.

Stayed in their Delux Room, the new RK building. Pathetic service, no toiletries, TV doesn't work, WiFi does not work, Frequent Power disruption, no backup, Staff doesn't pay attention. Breakfast was good.

Rooms are getting upgraded now otherwise were not clean. Breakfast is ok.its centrally located and is in demand Price is high.

This place has one of the most decent halls and lodging for the price you pay. They have several halls where functions are conducted. The food served is fresh and tasty. A special mention to the owner himself, Mr. Ulhas Shanbhag. He is very humble, down to earth, honest and very open minded. You will definitely never regret choosing this place.
