Food service is v bad and the taste is ok ok. Cost is higher quantity of food is too low only one person can able to have in one plate Dal or sabji. Next time I will not visit this place

This is a very old hotel of Mysore. But their services are very good. Rooms are pretty old but maintained very neatly.

Was here between 26-28 Dec-2023.

The food at their restaurant "Vishala" is great. Their travel desk is efficient although a little pricey, the car they provide is comfortable and the driver is punctual and courteous. Further, the rooms are clean and pleasant. The property is located in a posh location in the city and the views from the window are good.

The bad part: the property is not properly maintained: the ceilings everywhere are full of cobwebs as if they haven't been cleaned since years! Many have complained about the ladies' washroom in the lobby being dirty. Even in the rooms, the plumbing in the washrooms is an issue. The restaurant does not provide room service. Hot water is available only for select hours in the morning and evening (a major inconvenience!). For visitors checking in, they offer rooms only post 12: 00 noon (you reach earlier, you wait at the lobby!).

To conclude: the hotel is fine for visitors who wish to spend not more than 2 nights. I guess that's what they themselves expect!

Not worth the money, Rooms are dirty, and Service is not good, Food provided in restaurant also not worth the money.

Comfort food for the South Indian palate. I loved the tomato uttappam. The coconut rice was as always delectable with crunchy dals and cashew halves. It's a spacious dining hall where one feels totally comfortable.

Location of the property is very big.

Worst they r taking half n hr for one supply worst palak paneer in palakpaneer paneers u have to search paneer

Masala dosa and Rawa dosa was awesome. Filter coffee super. The potato masala had become slightly sour

Beautiful Place. Nice Ambience. Its one of the oldest Hotels in Mysore. Staff are very polite.
Food is also very tasty.

Dasaprakash Paradise has a great restaurant Vishala with some great snacks. I strongly recommend the mysore masala Dosa

However the staff could improve their service

Nice hotel. Yummy food. Only thing I didn't like onions in buttermilk and the toilets very dirty which made me reduce 1 star.

Old culture, you can expect senior citizens ushering you to your table.
Had veg thali, every fish palatable n tasty. Priced right, if you don't mind not having air-conditioner place to go

Had been for a engagement function. The hall is spacious for a engagement function. Good food arrangements

It's an old restaurant located in a residential area with absolute tranquility. Staff is courteous but service is bit slow, but given the atmosphere that we will have food overrides this minor glitch. To have a perfect lunch I would reckon this is an ideal one. Located near RK Narayan's house is another plus point of this restaurant.

Food is good. Had bought south Indian thali. They served a bit late but was reasonable and quality was good.

Only restaurant is open. Dasaprakash meal brand is maintained.
Location fantastic. Ambience is good.
The owners should revive the glory by adopting good marketing and get customer confidence and thrive.

I think they serve the best South Indian lunch here. If you are in Mysore and hungry during afternoon, just drop in to this friendly neighborhood place for a leisurely time.

One of the oldest hotels in Mysore located centrally in Yadavagiri. Restaurant was almost empty, parking lot had fewer vehicles, mostly carona effect, hopefully this iconic hotel will be back in its glory soon

Attended a pre wedding function here on 4th February 2021. The rooms for bride and groom were shabby. No place to keep dress for the celebration.
Big property but without a maintenance

Good hotel in the outskirts however a very premium area. Market is 4 Kms away from the hotel. One will find a entire city scape if goes above 5th floor. Flooring is old however good.

Not at all enjoyable stay. Especially the restaurant, they just don't respond, you have to tell repeatedly, don't clean the tables, the dishes keep lying on the tables even after the guests are done with the food. Same with room service, with first call they will just say that they will get it and no one comes, again call twice and thrice and someone will come. Not recommend this hotel to anyone.

80's style 5star Hotel, aged staff, traditional southindian idly vada dosa is must have. Do not expect world class service. Good place to spend the night after sight seeing. Chamundi Hill View and sunrise was awesome from the room.

Here for the memories. I came here in the 80's as a kid.
Hotel seems ordinary now. The intercom and shower didn't work. Actually felt sad. So much can be done if the management cared. Seems to be on autopilot.
However feels safe, comfortable and homely. Excellent location.
To the management: Do or do not. There is no try.
Don't lose the goodwill you have earned for the last few decades.

The interiors are OK. Pretty basic. Hotel staff are not very courteous. They are OK. Don't expect them to delight you. Restaurant food if good. Location and accessibility to railway station and city centre is good. The property is pretty old and maintained well.

Hotel seems to be very old style and some what neatly maintained but rest rooms are not properly cleaned but had a post like sanitized but it's not.

Food was good, worth.

It has a SPA as well.
