Hotel Roopa

The rooms are in a ugly state, requiring renovation, especially the air conditioning units. Disturbing noise inside the room resulted from water dripping from above onto the AC, preventing us from sleeping at midnight. It's shocking how the owner maintains such poor conditions despite charging high prices for the hotel.

Rooms are in pathetic condition, also the owner has no basic mannerisms of how to talk to guests! You’ll find bedbugs all over the place and they have very compact rooms in this building but charge hefty. There is very little parking space in a busy road and it’s usually occupied by taxis. Money-minded owner be very cautious while making online bookings because he won’t refund if u find yourself in a pathetic room. They have a rooftop bar attached and u will end up having safety concerns if you check in for room alone, this information even the employees warn you about! You will find better options in this locality with plenty of parking space and amenities. Fraud and rude owner, be aware!

Very bad experience photos are different than the reality. If you really want a luxurious hotel this not the choice you will regret your whole trip/vacation, no cleanliness, staff responses really not up to the mark, the receptionist is yelling at as saying we are not giving ID it seems I had booked 4 rooms I m asking ids from my brother and uncles she is just blabbering with some bad English which only her staff can understand so I spoke to her in Kannada only

Stain on bed sheets and super dirty toilets, basically super unhygienic hotel and slow service

Recently stayed in Roopa hotel. Room service is poor.
Restaurant is too costly. And limited breakfast items
in the complementary breakfast. Room cost wise, not worth.

The worst lodge I have ever stayed in. There was a party in the beside room could hear people shouting and talking didn't know if they were having fun or fighting it was chaotic. The worst part was people knocking on our door just randomly. There were beer bottles outside the room the next morning. Not a decent or safe place to stay.

Rooms are clean but 3 issues we faced made us review this hotel as average. 1. Central hot water system so you don't get hot water early morning. 2. Very less charging sockets, in fact our room had only one charging socket and we had to remove tv plug to charge our devices. 3. There was unseasonal rains during our stay and when we woke up in the morning there was water in our room. We checked if we had kept the window opened by mistake but to our surprise windows were closed hence there must have been leak through corners. Fortunately we were suppose to check out same morning so it didn't bother us much. Room number 211!

Apparently a 3 star but the rooms are small and literally have just the small area for the bed and a bathroom. Basic amenities

Very close to mysore suburban bus stand and mysore palace. As it is beside main road, noisy all day.
Room is nice, clean, but very small. Enough lights and airy. Service is professional and well located.
There is a bar called Infinity bar at its rooftop, but it is crazily overpriced. There is no such rooftop view as most sides are obstructed. Not much variety in items.
Suitable for short stay for both solo or family stay. Swiggy zomato service available.

Poor behaviour by management. Did not approve rooms booked through online. Had to call senior management and wait for long before they could verify and check in. Impolite staff and unusual hotel rules. Would not recommend to any tourists.

Just at heart of Mysore city. Opposite to woodland theatre. Stayed here for two days. Roof top restaurant has beautiful view.

Hotel is providing only 1 ltr water as a complementary rest u have to purchase a a rate of 37 rs per liter. They give me bottle with out mrp.

I HAVE BEEN TO HOTEL ROOPA ON 7TH SEP'2021, I ENJOYED MY STAY, ESPECIALLY I LIKED THE SERVICES OF ROOFTOP RESTAURANT, THE GUY WHO WAS SURVING (FRESHER-FORGOT TO ASK HIS NAME) IS VERY POLITE, RECEIVING STAFF ALSO GOOD, MY OVER ALL EXPERINCE IS AWESOME, BUDGET FRIENDLY TOO. REGARDS- ASHOK B

We booked through an app so got a good deal. The executive room is worth it. But the only problem is, the bathroom door is difficult to open once closed. Otherwise executive room is spacious and well lit.

The room had a good clean fill and was nightly spacious. The huge curtains, the air-conditioning, the service and the TV entertainment (choice of channels) was quite good. The room service was fast, but the range of beers could be improved. The breakfast will be delivered at your room on request and the total response of all the staff was good. Would definitely recommend this hotel for a relaxed weekend in Mysore.

Keeping the budget in mind this hotel does justice to it. Best for budget travellers. Well behaved staff. Linens and towels were clean and hotel rooms were well maintained and hygenic.

Nice hotel in pocket friendly budget. Just need to work on the terrace restaurant because it feels little bit unsafe for the travellers (specialy honeymoon couples) while having there dinner with drinking surrounding. Else all other services such as room cleanliness and service is good. Recommended for staying.

The staffs were co-operative, stay got easy with their assistance and help. There roof top setup for either daylight or night are amazing. Food is like Superbike.

Located in heart of the city, hospitality is good, best place to stay for visitors, all the main places are located in walkable distance.

We stayed in hotel for the second time based on our previous experience at hotel. The hotel rooms are nice and comfortable. Their rooftop restaurant offers very nice food

I Will Give average Ratings because. It doesn't have geyser and wifi. But in website they mention it they having all this things. And with restrictions they releasing hot water at 7am to 11am.

Never go to restaurant the hotel has in the premises. Rooms are tiny. Walls are damped. Mosquitoes will be in room to welcome you. Staffs are lazy. No customer values. Not for family.

The rooms are basic and clean. The service is quite fast. The rooftop bar and restaurant called Infiniti is quite good.

Poorly maintained. Room looks neat but Dusty windows n curtains. Foul smell on bed spread n pillows. You can't feel the freshness at all. We had booked the room through MAKE MY TRIP and had to cancel immediately after check-in because we didn't feel that we can enjoy the stay or relax well. And Make my trip didn't come for any help in booking another hotel room nor they refunded any amount.

Had a good experience here. Location wise it is perfect near to bus stop and few yards away from Mysore palace. Rooms were neat and tidy.

Easily accessible from mysore bus stations, Mysore Palace and Zoo. If you are planning to visit these places Hotel Roopa would be a great choice.

Guest friendly. Family friendly. Everything is nearby as is in central location. Constant noise of vehicles even at late night. Dips of heavily used bed. They need change.

Late room service, we have to keep reminding them even for water, no cleaning of the room - kettle, TV, A. C.remote unoperational

Value for money. Don't expect good service from restaurant. Food quality is good though. If you're traveling person, be their guest. Of you're bit lazy and spend more time chilling at hotel then this is not a place for you.

Good hotel @ low price, connectivity with market is good, means location is pretty prime, but parking place is lil low.

Infinity roof top restaurant serves poor food for what they charge. Rice not properly cooked. They serve only Basa fish and not local fish. Painstakingly slow service. Avoid eating here.

Ambience was good. Service was moderate. But the roooms were too small. It has its own spa, bar resturant. Lift were very much useful for us as we had old persons in our group. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

This is the only hotel near to the palace where you get free, ample parking. I have stayed in this hotel multiple times in last few years. In my opinion, this is a decent budget hotel. Little old and rusty, but value for money. Helpful staffs and quick service. Quality of breakfast can be improved. I was surprised when I found there is no toaster in the breakfast table.

Very nicely located almost exactly in the middle of the the Mysore district.
Most of the wadiar structures can be accessed by walk and the biggest church is just 2 km from here

Very good hotel in Mysore. Nice and clean. And all places are walkable distance from this hotel. Staffs were good with good service.
I opted for complimentary breakfast. They had many options In breakfast.
Even they have their own restaurant and bar. You can order food and have. Food quality is good.

Total worth of money, very clean and neat place, stayed for a day, staff is good, rooms are clean, amazing thing is rooftop dining facility and very good food

Worst Service. Staff is very lazy. They don't understand hindi. They take too much time to bring the order. Told the reason that there's no availability of staff for service.

The place is perfectly located with all tourist attractions nearby. Hotel is decent. The place for breakfast has nearly NIL light.
