Worst staff and they are very rude

The bad:
There was a cockroach in our room, tv wasn't working, dresser lights were broken.

The good:
Room and bathroom were clean and spacious. Sheets were clean. Location is good. Staff were friendly. Cheap at 1500 per night. Giving an extra star to the staff who carried hot water to our room when it wasn't available in the tap.

We were 2 families We went to the hotel and try to get a room on 11 th July 2023 at 8.30 pm and we enter there and approach to the receptionist guy and he is being very rude and not even giving proper information while we asking about the room he is acting like he is not interested to give us a room. Not recommending at all. Very bad experience we had.

The hotel was at a prime location, clean and the staff was very polite. They even provided us with complimentary breakfast even though we have not paid for the same.

Worsr hotel in manglore. I booked through a phone call. After reaching the hotel they tolds room not available.worst beds. Rude behaviour by receptionists.

Experienced very bad service in veg resturant. No servers and person who collect cash seems to be always chating in mobile.

Unfortunately, my recent stay at the Roopa hotel was a major disappointment. Our first issue was that despite booking three rooms, we were only provided with one initially, and the staff claimed that the rest of the rooms were already occupied. Despite our protests, we had to wait until midnight to be provided with the other rooms, even though we had arrived at the hotel in the morning.

To make matters worse, the room we were eventually provided with was unsatisfactory - it was unclean, had a musty smell that made it difficult to breathe, and the door of the toilet was broken. It was a very uncomfortable experience overall.

Furthermore, the hotel staff showed little interest in addressing our concerns. We were also disappointed to find that basic amenities such as toiletries and fresh towels were not provided, which only added to our inconvenience.

Overall, our experience at the Roopa hotel was highly unsatisfactory, and I would not recommend it to anyone.

Locality is very good 500mtrs from Jothi circle but room maintenance is bad.
The rooms and washroom are very big.
It's a very old building.

We got a complimentary breakfast which was quite good but the idly and tea taste was not good, The rest of the food was good.

Worst experience. Dont go to this hotel and waste your money. No hospitality and they even gave over rooms to strangers whixh we dont know. No aminities and cleanliness

the staff was unhelpful and did not seem interested in addressing my concerns.
The poor cleanliness and unresponsive staff made it a regretful experience.

Worst rooms, and service. They charged extra for half hour late to check out. High cost also for old rooms

I stayed there from the 26th of February to the 3rd of March 2023. The staff and hotel boys were very helpful. I used to drink lots of green tea. They were never late in providing me with Hot water, as there was no Electric Kettle in the room. Arun in the restaurant is so caring. Thanks for making my stay comfortable. A little suggestion, more channels in the TV and a cleaner toilet.

Stayed here for a single night. The rooms is ok but the bathroom is not. Bathroom got no showers and western closet no water jet

One of the worst hotels in mangalore. The rooms are in very bad shape.not well maintained. Only thing is service is very good.

Friendly, clean and comfortable budget hotel. Good value rooms with complementary breakfast. Excellent restaurant. Convenient location for shopping food etc. An enjoyable stay.

Decent rooms in the middle of the city. Many tourist spots are walkable. Service is great. Great place to stay if you want to explore the city. Also close to many restaurants. Breakfast at Krishna Cafe in the hotel is complimentary.
