Hotel Sandesh The Prince

We had arranged for a function of naming ceremony with lunch for a moderate crowd of 200-250members and the food was quite good except for the nans which we had added in the menu, was very rubbery and that spoiled the entire menu.

One of the best Hotels I have stayed at Mysore, so far. In terms of service, rooms and location it is 5/5. The Spa experience, too, was great. The staff is always ready to help be it the bellboys, security or the people manning the car parking area. Will visit again.

Room decoration are so beautiful and staff behaviour are so polite and good ambiance are so good

Rate wise it’s a very best hotel with amazing indoor and outdoor view.

We had booked 2 rooms for 2 nights. A slight inconvenience we faced was that it took almost 2 hrs to cool the room and that made our stay a bit uncomfortable. They need to work on their Airconditioner system (feedback we already gave to the staff).

Apart from the above, it was a pleasant stay at Hotel Sandesh. Their staff is very friendly, polite and have a smile on their face.

The food was nice and had a lot of variety in the buffets.

The rooms were clean, just had a bit of a foul vintage stench when we first entered for which we called for an air freshener.

The location of this property is also not bad. We were able to visit the Mysore Palace on foot.

The Hotel is located right in heart of the city. It is in close proximity of approx 1 km from Mysore Palace. It’s walking. Enjoyed the comfortable stay. Staff and services were very courteous. The breakfast was typical and same throughout. Overall it was decent stay.

Best location and Breakfast. Nothing else is remarkable. Pathetic toilet nothing like they posted in booking sites. AC won’t work.

Rooms were ok but quite old. But the worst part was the staff. Very rude staff, especially the lady at the reception, Parvathi. Not at all courteous. Didn’t expect such behaviour from such a place. Quite overpriced as well. Not worth it at all. Wouldn’t recommend.

One of the pathetic stay in the hotel.no water in washroom.even when water resumed, no hot water.moreover the hotel management was reluctant to change the room.worse customer service.the lunch at restaurant was at the lowest grade as we only had dal and rice which led to stomach upset. I'll never suggest anyone to stay over there.the hotel staff is not well equipped to take care of their guest.please give it a miss

We booked a room in Sandesh Pride. We visited here for the Breakfast purpose and we enjoyed the ambience and food.

Good place for loading and restaurant.
Quick service I appreciate worker for their behaviour.
I will definitely come again again.

A real 4star experience very good staff.but food could be much better, may be a little more spices and salt in it.

Really good place to stay, amenities are good, room service is available, good eateries around, can order food and collect from gate. Wear a mask as other people staying there dont follow rules.

Only it was clean rooms. The fittings are very old. Shower in washroom is too slow. The air condition at 18 degree will cool at night but in morning it will be hotter. No HD channels. For any other you need to ask for any english channel that will be you have to call the house keeping and then they provide. The tea ketlle was not working, when got up at 6 for some tea, it was not working and then again you have to call to get it replaced. Parking is open in front and there is very small area for that. So you need to do a little struggle to get your car park as there is rush in weekends.
The shop near is selling seems defective items. Its not good. So suggest to not to take. Food is expensive.

I didn’t like anything. This place was so disgusting. Horrible customer service, worst experience ever. Plz improve ur staff (Mr. Masood) and require for some training of it.i dont prefer to anyone to visit this hotel. DO NOT EVER WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Over all nice Hotel in Mysore. Especially breakfast was too good with lot of varieties and Hospitality wise. Definitely I would like to visit once again

Food was delicious. My foriegn Guest from France liked it very much. Clean & tidy. Staff very helpful in selecting the food. Mr. Sandesh was gracious to wish our group (-ㅂ-) /

Very ordinary food. The waiters were touching the ladle to all the plates while serving food. They ran out of plates, spoons and even curds.had to eat in a soup spoon.
Given a chance would rate negative.

The rooms are neat but it's a old property. We just stayed there for one day. Its located in city center and most of the best places of mysore is very easily accessible.

Had been there for a birthday party. The food was ok. The hall was in a underground hall. The wash room access was bad. But other facilities were ok. The food was average.

No way in standards of a 4 star hotel, the maintenance in the rooms is to be very much improved. Cockroaches in the rest room, dust in the corners. Booked a premier room which was promised with a bathtub, but when asked they mentioned only few rooms comes with it and they can't help it.

Decent maintenance, but hotel is starting to show its age and some rooms need fixes or renovation. Staff and service was good.

Had an amazing experience and stay. The pool and the spa was awesome. And the complementary breakfast was delicious. Very friendly staff and helpful too. Thank you for the lovely stay!

Good hotel in the center of the city to stay. But they can be more organized. They made us wait to allocate rooms for more than 45 mins

This is a nice hotel, well maintained, courteous staff, good food. Only thing I felt the bathrooms need a renovation.

Well mentioned hotel. Breakfast is awesome. Clean rooms. Room service and amenities are excellent. Stayed here 2nights very happily with my wife and my brother's family. Only problem is. With centralized AC cooling i m totally not satisfied. That's the reson giving 4 star

Staffs and hospitality earned these five stars. They were extremely good. Had a great stay experience after a long time. Breakfast was awesome. The facilities were good. I highly recommend Hotel Sandesh the Prince.

Perfect indeed! Worthy! Justifies to be a star hotel. One Wil get complimentary breakfast which Wil have multiple options for different dietries. Freshly prepared and served. Loved the stay

Very noisy. The management should seriously consider sound proofing the rooms. A lot of disturbance from the other room and traffic. Not possible to sleep. Food is average. Staff is polite. Over all not worth the money spent

A good hotel in Mysore for your stay. The food however is very costly. You get good complementary breakfast in which the items are same every day.

Hotel is located in center place of Mysore. KSRTC bus stand is very near. Rooms were clean and decent. Laundry service available with extra price. Hotel have not subscribed to channels, so TV was not working. Wifi was available. Overall nice place to stay. Room rent was little bit costly.

A very poor room service, no customer care. Not even equipped with most essential provisions in room. What a joke?

Smooth handling of check in and check out, rooms are neat and tidy. Stayed in superior room. Location is at centre to all visiting places, it's just within 2 - 3 kms radius, offcourse the popular place Brindavan garden is outside city is around 21 kms. Fitness center is good have all required equipments for daily workout, so you don't miss the physical training during travel.

It was a horrible experience I can say. The bathroom was not having proper drainage. If you put some water near toilet it will be stuck. When you keep your foot for nature’s call you will not at all feel comfortable able you feet will be inside the water.
Pillow covers were damaged one one request they changed it. How can you give such bad quality thing when you are charging so much of money.
The A/C was set in 20 but room was pretty hot. I doubt whether the a/c is working properly or not.
I my booking the dinner was inclusive. I waited for 20-30mins to get some chilly chicken, roti, Egg salad. I called many people multiple times to get it. So horrible experience

I would recommend not to stay here. They are charging so much of money for nothing.

This is with regards to my stay at Hotel Sandesh the Prince, Mysore from 17-20 September 2021. I had booked a stay for 3 guests for 3 nights at the hotel and made the entire payment after confirmation on the goibibo app. While checking out of the hotel I was told to pay Rs. 900/- telling me that I was charged for the 3rd guest for only 2 nights and I had to pay the extra amount for the 3rd night. On repeatedly telling the hotel staff that I have made the complete payment, they insisted that the extra amount had to be paid. I am extremely disappointed with the hotel since I have stayed there previously, with no issues and also with goibibo for the hidden charges.

Easily one of the best hotels in town.we stayed in executive suite. The room was very clean and neat considering pandemic. The staffs are super cordial and thoroughly enjoyed the stay.anytime in mysore my first option will be Sandesh.

Pleasant experience. The staff were very helpful. The food was brilliant. The ambience is quite impressive and beyond expected, for the price paid. It had a traditional and royal touch in every corner, which is quite what a tourist would look forward to, in Mysore.
On request, the rooms were booked beside each other on the same floor, which made it quite convenient.
The only weak point was that the AC wasn't effective enough to beat the summer heat.

I have booked thru MakeMyTrip on which I got great discount band talking about the hotel. Friendly staff. Good Ambiance. The best part about this hotel is, You can find all tourist places within 2-3 km

I would like to start by saying that now If I'm going to visit Mysore ever, I will be staying in this hotel only & there are numerous reasons for the same.
The location of the hotel is amazing, the staff is exceptionally well & the hospitality is superb.
Right from welcoming the guests to seeing them off, the staff has been very courteous & have taken care of smallest of the smallest things as well.
There's a silk emporium & a handicraft shop in the hotel itself & we were given discount also because of the hotel. The collection of the materials in the emporium was also at par.
Overall a wonderful & a very comfortable stay. I would definitely recommend the hotel to all my friends & relatives.

Since there are so many options in mysore but if you are reading this review just go for hotel Sandesh the prince as they are the best in star category hospitality.
Comfortably located.
It has retained some of it's old charm along with all latest amenities.
I just loved the vibe around. The staff was so helpful and wonderful.
The rooms were spacious and beautiful and so were the bathroom.
Housekeeping was swift and courteous.
Food was awesome.
The travel desk (concierge) Mr Ashwaq is the best person in mysore for bookings towards coorg, kabini, nagarhole, ooty and many more nearby attractions.

This hotel has old times charm in it which is good in a heritage city. We stayed in premium room, it was nice. Location is great, breakfast was okay.
Only drawback was the wifi which never worked properly.

Decent hotel but delux rooms are not that spacious, for a couple it suits well but any additional bed reduces the space. Breakfast and dinner were really worth for tge package offered to us. We really enjoyed the stay and spent time in swimming pool too.

Great Value for money, decent but small rooms. They should do something about sound proofing as the place gets noisy at night. Food is great, breakfast experience at the pub was good but menu can include non Veg continental items as well! They also have a Parlour with good service. Closest hotel to the zoo!
