HOTEL SIGANDOORESHWARI LODGING AND BOARDING

Spacious rooms.good service.very much recommended if you are planning for budget trip to Murudeshwar. Downside is non rooms are really hot during summer. And little far from beach as compared to other hotels.

Spacious double rooms with mosquito net. Provided early check-in on prior request. Very kind and sweet receptionist. Hot water available in the morning, also heating coil available if needed at other times. TV connection and little dust were issues. But otherwise very good.

In the price point of view the hotel is not at all justifiable. Below average rooms. No lift and no staff. Limited space.

The perfect lodge at the Murudeshwar beach and temple. Just 1 km away from the temple and beach. Very polite hosts and clean rooms and bathrooms.

AC rooms not so clean. Lots of mosquito.
Hotel provide only rooms (bed and rugs)
No toothpaste. No soap etc

It's not a good option. Rooms were stinking. Common area had smoking smells. Bedsheets were not clean.

I could not find the hotel review option in Goibibo so posting here for the benefit of fellow travelers. This is a budget hotel. Our stay was pleasant and worth the money paid. We stayed there for 2 nights in Dec 2022. Some points are mentioned below.

1. Rooms are well maintained. Rooms 205 & 207 were spacious enough. Hope this is the case will other rooms also.
2. Hotel has no lift. 2 storey building. The hotel staff was cooperative. When I called to provide rooms on the ground floor or first floor for senior citizens, they agreed.
3. Temple is around 1.2km from the hotel. Note that while going to the temple/beach autos may not be available every time. So you might need to walk for 15-20 min. Could be difficult during summer. This is a big disadvantage. While returning autos are available from the temple stand. Charges Rs. 40/50.4. Hotel has one attached restaurant but it was closed during our visit. Good veg hotels like Hotel Kamath and Indraprastha are near the temple. So again commuting could be difficult.
5. Hot water supply is only available between morning 6.30 AM to 8 AM.

Decent lodge. Clean spacious rooms. Ac was there. So was a cupboard. Murudeswara temple is somewhere around 700m from this place. Parking is available as well. Bathroom was neet as well. They provided a bath towel and soap but not dental kit (that was expected after all it's a lodge). Boarding facility is available for large groups.

Cons:
Too close to main road, you might find trouble dozing off on peak traffic hours (read 6 pm to 9 pm) due to honking.
Wifi is available only on the reception.

It was good experience and cleaned rooms. Food was so tasty and reasonable price compared to other hotels. Very co-operative staffs.

Clean rooms. Bathroom is spacious. Reasonable price. 10 to 15 minutes walk from the temple.
