My visit to this place left much to be desired. The food and service were both disappointing. The staff seemed more engrossed in their own conversations than attending to customers. Getting plates and glasses or even placing an order required more effort than it should. Despite the letdown, the one redeeming factor was the must-try banoffee pie.
This is the worst restaurant I have ever seen in my whole life… tasteless food and bad experience with the drinks. I will never visit this restaurant again. Most of the restaurants in Hampi are similar when it comes to food experience. 0 out of 5 marks.
At least restaurant owner should think about it and improve the quality of food… this is our suggestion.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Ideally located for visiting the Hampi Heritage structures. Could do with improved maintenance of toilets. Room was absolutely clean and well maintained.
It is only the option for hampi visiters. You get a both north and south food. But taste is Zero 0.very worst quality food they serve and 200rs for South and 300rs for north mean. It is very costly.
They should improve the quality of food what we pay. Due to lot of rush you have to finish food in hurry burry.that is also bad thing.
Clean restaurant situated in heart of Hampi town. Mainly for tourists visiting the heritage site. The food was average although prices were steep. We ordered veg noodles which were served cold and tasteless. Good quality needs improvement.
We stopped at the hotel for lunch. There are stay options as well at this hotel but we stayed elsewhere. There are two sections at the restaurant, one where you can sit on the floor i.e. On a cushion and the second room a conventional one with chairs and tables. We ordered south Indian thali at this place. The quality of the food was really good and we had a nice time here.
Overall our stay was good. In hampi its one of the best budget hotel. Room was nice and clean. You can definitely prefer this for stay. All the main Hampi tourists points are 5-6 KM radios from the hotel. Food quality was average.
Experience during the stay was really good felt expensive though. OK for 1-2 days as staying anywhere nearby Kamalapura is not on economical side. Did not have food here.
Best place to have your lunch and dinner if your near kamlapur, the service is really nice. They serve very quickly and the quality, quantity and taste is really worth the price you pay.
Lodging for 2 or 4 available in one room. There is also a restaurant. Prices are as expensive as the city. The food is tasty. Thalis will take you from hungry to full. Chocolate milkshake was very diluted and hence -1 star.
What pleasent surprise this place turned out to be.hidden in plain sight. The food was amazing, especially the pizza and north Indian food. Quick service, courteous staff, seating arrangements non the outside are best. Highly recommended place for lunch and dinner when in Hampi.
It's better to come to this hotel only if you book/reserve a room via online like goibibo, bookings.com and mmt.
The offline price is too high, like 3-4 times the online price. Even if we pay for offline booking, they'll just provide a non-ac room, with a TV (remote won't be there).
Room wasn't neat when made a booking offline though they took 20mins to clean. Not sure what they did, LoL!
Just hoping these guys will make a change in bookings at Hampi.
Very nice hotel, one of the only place in town where you get nice non veg food. They even do delivery too. Usually very crowded, and the reason is good food and one of the only nonveg option in town.
I was here on 31-Oct-2021. Room was good, clean. I had taken AC room for 2500. Checkout time is at 10am. I was previously looking for room at Clarks Inn but there were no rooms available so I had to choose this hotel, but it turned out to be good enough.
Located center of Hampi town. It is a medium budget hotel. Very close to main destinations at Hampi. Open parking, food court, ATM, handicrafts shops etc in this complex.
The Digital Payments do not work. The place was extremely crowded but the service was quick. One of the items in the South Indian Thali was stale. North Indian meal (a la carte) was better.
We went to Hotel Varsha for breakfast and also for lunch. There are very few good hotels and this is one of them. The breakfast and south Indian thaali in lunch was good. The attraction here is seating arrangement. If you are with your family and trying to find a decent place for food this is it.
Very nice hotel for stay with very good restaurant facility in kamalapur. Location is close to Hampi main area. Central location if you want to explore Hampi fully. I really got very good service from hotel staff they even speed-post my neice's spects which we forgot in room.
A wonderful place to stay in hampi.the food in the restaurant is also very hygienic and tasty.the place offers a variety of cuisines in which garlic chicken is a must try if you visit this hotel.
100% commercial. Small rooms. Rents are high when compared to Hospet. Have to ask for daily cleaning and drinking water. Quality of food is above average with high rates. Nearer to Hampi is the only positive factor.
Amazing.restaurant serves all kind of delicious food.rooms are clean beds comfy.staff wonderful.reception helpfull.this hotel in such an insignificant small town 4 km from hampi with proper data connection.net connection in hampi is very difficult.i love varsha hotel.
Paid Rs 3.5k per night. Not value for money for the price we paid. AC was very noisy. Restaurant was not hygienic. Did not receive a receipt for the money i paid. There was no one in the reception till 10am and had to leave without a receipt.
They literally charge more during on season ones. Better to book online rather gng there and trying to book and during season you hardly get any rooms to stay nearby this place. This place doesn't have too much places to stay
Location: Bit far from main Hampi. Tariff: We charged 2400 per night, which is too much. Rooms are clean though, but with very basic facility, and room size is also small. Staffs are OKAY, too busy with their restaurant only; won't give you proper attention. Food: Good, it seems this is the best option available nearby.
Excellent restaurant, offering contemporary menus, thalis with cushioned seating. Very similar menu to Mango Tree. Budget accommodation, clean rooms also available.
As World famous Hampi is just 3 kilometres away from this place there are many restaurants in this region. But this is somewhat different from the other restaurants, there are 2 types of seatings here. One’s normal with tables and chairs. The other type is that beds to sit and lesser height of tables. Food tatses good but the quantity wasn’t satisfactory according to the cost they have displayed on the menu card. But this is a nice place to spend time with your friends for sure.
The rating is for the restaurant only.an average resto, toilets were filty, ac family cabin was not cool, food was just about average. Tried their south Indian thali which was below par, thou prices were on higher side. Maily catering to gulible tourists, wid not much options nearby
Average hotel, but wont recommend it very much, here are reasons. The price is too much for the facilities given. The location is not very ideal (little far from hampi,) If you have your own vehicle den its fyn. But the service was goood.
Horrible experience here. Driver took us here saying that this particular restaurant is a branch of Mango Tree. And they have the worst food. Tomato sauce in the pasta and pizza was raw. And pizza base was butter naan. Service was also terribly slow. Please think twice before going here.
Restaurant is placed in the crowded area of kamalapur. Nice place, well maintained with good ambience, Tasty food. Many cuisines are available such as north indian, italian, chinese.
Please try to avoid the restraunt it offers. Food is literally aweful considering the prices. However, the ambience is the only thing that keeps it par with other restraunt.
Happened to stay in hotel Varsha for two nights and one day in August 2018. Sorry to say it was horrible, the administrators are yet to learn basics of cleanliness, politeness and hospitality. Charges not worthy for the value of money. However we were much relaxed in the attached restaurant humpi paradise. Tasty food, hygienic and highly tuned waiters as well. Third day morning, we shifted to Clarks inn 500 metres north east for one day. Wonderful, charges a bit high, but value for money.
Budget hotel. Hotel Varsha is located at a distance of 0.5 km from the Kamalapur New Bus Stand. This hotel features an on-site restaurant that serves a range of delicacies to the guests. This hotel is Bellary offers 20 comfortable guestrooms for accommodation. Each room is equipped with amenities like bottled drinking water, comfortable bed and attached bathroom with hot and cold running water. Additional services provided within the premises are 24-hour room service and laundry. Guests can also avail facilities like currency exchange, cyber cafe for internet, ATM facility and r24-hour front desk assistance
Nice place to have quick food, with a reasonable price. Starters are good, don't ever try Veg here, It's horrible! Ghee rice is quite famous here. Do try that. Overal an average place, not that great ambience.
Me and my friends wanted the happy Hampi experience:) Unfortunately, greedy hotel manger of Varsha spoiled it for us. When we first arrived he promised to sort out transport/ food/ temple trips etc etc for us. He charged us loads of money up front and later demanded more money on every possible occasion. His drivers wouldn't take us where we wanted and insisted we pay for their lunch every time we stopped for food. Avoid if possible.
