Hotel Viceroy Comforts

We stayed on 14-15/12 dec 2023 with family. Had bad experiences, as hot water was not 24/7 which they not informed. Rooms had mosquito also

This room was a waste of money and the photos were very deceptive.
Firstly, The rooms on the internet don’t resemble the actual rooms at all. All the rooms have damaged windows and the bedsheets are extremely dirty and stained.
Secondly, There is a massive cockroach infestation in the hotel and there are cockroaches EVERYWHERE. There are also many mosquitoes everywhere.
Thirdly, The service is trash. They do not offer proper services. The staff is very arrogant. The AC does not cool properly and half the air conditioners are broken.
The food does not taste good and not worth the price.
We had booked 5 rooms for 14 people and the price charged was 45000 for 2 nights which is not worth the price. They charged far more than they should have for such services.
Personally this hotel is a waste of money and is not worth it. I would not recommend this terrible hotel to anybody and I hope you wouldn’t either. Please do not support this abomination of a hotel which does not even deserve 3 Stars. Please petition to take it down. Thank you for your time

Disappointing Stay

I recently had a stay at the hotel, and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired.
The rooms and bath area were not up to par in terms of cleanliness. It was evident that proper attention to detail was lacking, and the overall hygiene standards fell short of expectations.
To make matters worse, essential toiletries were missing, adding inconvenience to an already underwhelming stay. This oversight reflects poorly on the hotel's attention to guest needs.
The breakfast offered minimal options, making it less than satisfying. A broader selection would have significantly improved the overall guest experience.
Considering the subpar conditions and limited amenities, the hotel did not provide adequate value for the money spent. It's disheartening when expectations aren't met, especially when paying for a service.

I hope this feedback serves as constructive criticism for the hotel, urging them to address these issues and enhance the overall guest experience. Future guests deserve a more comfortable and pleasant stay.

Worst ever experience. There were a lizard in my room & staff was denied to change the room.

Also no hot water is available in bathroom.

This place badly needs overhauling and renovation. Seems cost cutting measures are eating into guests comforts

Nice place to stay. Large parking area. Exclusive dining hall. But only issue is all the items mentioned in the menu card not available
It may be due to less occupancy of rooms on week days.

Please ensure your online booking with the staff of hotel and record the call if possible, We had to wait for about 2 hrs for check in.

Only Room is big one. Room is OK. But other than room services and food options I did not like.

One of the finest wedding hall in Mysore. Hall is very spacious and can accommodate around 1.5k people. Also it has a small party hall which is suitable for small functions and birthday parties.

Worst experience ever.
We were a group from kerala.
We already booked the rooms before two months. And they confirmed the rooms before two months. Later when we reached there. They had another bookings. We have to wait for 10hours. Without a washroom and food. Manager was arrogant. His behaviour to us was too bad and to everyone.
After getting the room we faced so many other difficulty. One of the room was locked from inside. We were locked for two hours inside and the hotel staffs did nothing. And they gave a bill with high rates also. I suggest pls dont choose this hotel. Manager of the hotel is too bad and will irritate us. His only aim is to grab money from us. Without giving any amenities. Only disaster.

Pls avoid this hotel.it's really pathetic. It's purely a mandap and can be used for one night for marriage functions as there is a big hall below

Awesome staff and service
If you are planning to visit in Mysore the best time to visit near Dussehra make sure you make advance booking of the hotel atleast then you will able to view beautifully decorated city

Dissatisfied with the service provided as they paid no heed to the customer concern. Breakfast was also delayed.

Disappointing experience altogether. I got the first impression when we reached and nobody was there to receive us and collect our bags. We stayed for two nights and I have never seen such irresponsible room service! We got our towels and hot water for our kids after 3 hours of continuous requests.  No mineral water was provided and charged INR30 for one bottle, and no toiletries except soaps. They will switch on the heater in the morning only. But if we asked, they will tell us it will be coming now. No fans are there in the room. Breakfast is just for name sake with limited items. I have noticed an area near the stairs, with no handrails, could be dangerous, especially for kids and elder people.   (photo attached)

Accessibility to major tourist attractions
Large parking area
Moderately clean large room
Moderately comfortable bed

This property is not tourist hotel.

Rooms of different types available in 3 floors. Mostly booked for people attending marriage n functions in same location.

Except bedding & soaps, no amenities in room.including mineral water. RO water drum in every floor. Guests have to fill their bottles.

However staff & service persons are responsive to arrange needful in their capacity.

Near to palace, nearby budget restaurant, and big car parking are on positive side

Spacious rooms and located in a prime location near the Mysore palace. Service is really good and the staff is very good and respectful.

Room was spacious. Good for 1 night stay. Except soap, no amenities provided. They have ample parking space. Breakfast is just for namesake. Only options available for breakfast is Idly, Upma and Bread Jam.

Its just a convention hall rooms and ockroaches all over the room and they won't even provide towels n waterbottle. Totally waste of money

I have been travelling frik last 20 yrs all over India but this was the worst experience I had, we were 10 people including a kid with 4 rooms booked and reached around 2330 hrs and to utter dismay found AC for two rooms not working, the night manager didn't do anything and was like do whatever you want I can't do anything I cannot call any technician. We came to know from the waiters that those ac's were already not working jt they allotted it to us. We had to use extra beds in two rooms and adjust. On top of it these people didn't refund any amount to the travel advisor from where we booked the rooms. They informed us that the GM also didn't help. Putrid, horrible service, never opt for this hotel untill you are in dire need

THE WORST HOTEL EVER VISITED. ROOMS SMELLS HORRIBLE. COMPLETELY SMOKING SMELL INSIDE THE ROOM. BATHROOM IS PATHETIC.
STAFF IS THE MOST WORST PART HERE. THEY JUST KEEP LYING ABOUT THE AMENITIES. HOW MANY EVER TIMES U VISIT THEM AND ASK THEY DID NOT RECTIFY ANY OF THE ISSUES LIKE TV, AC, BATHROOM.

It is basically rroms attached to a wedding hall. So, no room facilities like tea/coffee/milk sachets etc. We had no Wi-Fi during our stay. We had to have every meal outside right from morning coffee and this is very inconveniencing.

Service is worst.
Staff is zero supportive.
Hot water not available 24 hrs.
I stay there for 2 days No room clean, drinking water is also unavailable at room at least provide 1 water bottle.
Phone was not working in hotel.
Also tv was not working.
There is minimum 1 star for rating, if zero or half star available I'll give zero star to this hotel.

Very good hotel to stay within the budget and within the city limits, peaceful place though within the city, food availability is poor however you can get plenty of near by hotels or as usual online food apps comes in handy at this place, I suggest this place for family as well as for couple. Rooms are maintained cleanly and staffs are good

No wifi, no proper food and there is no proper room maintenance too. It is horrible stay over there

The Wi-Fi was not at all working and they were not even worried to resolve.
The AC was having some weird noise.
The bedspreads were dirty and blankets were smelling badly. We changed more than 3 or 4 times.
Location is good rest all are not up to the mark.
Please do not opt this if you have kids.

Rooms not as per shown in the pictures or on the site. Very bad smoking smell was coming from the room

Hotel not comfortable. Most of the amenities were non-functional.
Restaurant was non-operational. AC in the rooms were making noise. Fixtures in the rest rooms were bad.
Channels not subscribed in the room.
POS machine at the reception was not working.
NO wifi.
Overall had a very bad experience.

The room was good and the staff was very humble. However, food was not all that great as no variety. All the items in the menu was not available.

We just stayed here for a night, Place was clean and overall stay was good.
Also parking is spacious

Not a good hotel also it's not customer friendly they won't meet anyone's expectation.
Big buildings are not the one required but it's how they deal with customer that matters. I will not recommended anyone to stay in this hotel

Worst hotel in mysore.better someone can go for lodge rather than staying here. We have changed more than 2 rooms, since all the rooms had stains on the bedspread. The 5th room was also had stains on the bedsheet. Room was stinking and bathroom tap was like was not cleaned from decades. The towels had stains too. The AC was making factory noise & no fans in the room. The staffs were v v v lethargic. Hygiene level is absolutely at 0. Coffee was hot water with coffee powder. One of the WORST hotel without basic hygiene. If someone doesn't bother about hygiene they can go here. Doesn't worth of 2500/per day. It's worst hotel. Low maintenance no professionalism.

More or less like marriage house. Poor service, unorganized staff, nightmare for me. Please avoid the place and save money.

Limited options for food both inside and in surrounding areas. Very poor WiFi connectivity. Excellent rooms. Friendly reception staff. Service needs to improve. Ample parking.

Pros:
-Very Big Parking if you are concerned about your vehicle & if it is costly.
- Spacious location to get around inside the stay location itself.
-Courteous Staff
-Big customer lounge in ground with lift facility.
- Rooms are big & spacious

Cons:
-Needs improvement in replacing the old things like bathroom tap, door handle, etc.

Restaurant:
-Very clean & professionals handling the area.
-Quality taste
-Hygienic ambience
-Quality preparation

One can visit the restaurant if you're tired after a long drive & wanted to have quick tiffin / dinner to close the day soon.

Ok.where to start.
Extremely unkind staff. Came here for a school trip, and we all were treated badly.due to a previous school.
Torn towels and blankets. I don't even know what to say. Wifi is paid, but even then is extremely slow.
I have to give one star due to the good food and ample parking. Not recommended though.

Very nice hotel. Good ambience and well maintained. Best for families. Reception team is good. Has veg restaurant attached but food is just average.

Hotel is located in a nice location, Good parking space only if no events are present in the premises as a marriage hall is attached to the comforts. Reception is too good & well maintained such with the rooms. Toilets can be maintained much hygienic. Worst part was for an extra bed the attender bargains & desperate for money. They charge 500 for extra bed on floor but if returned early the attender negotiate for 400 which pissed me. We had to wait for nearing an hour for not accepting his deal. I pity the owners for keeping such staff because of whom they will loose regular customers.

Today we had one of the family get together.we hired the function hall with buffet. At buffet the dishes were extremely tasteless. We decided that no more visits to Viceroy Comforts at all.

Room was pretty okay, there was no drinking water provided during the stay which is least expected by any customer.

However, it was not a very pleasant stay there.

Good rooms with courteous staff and well maintained hotel with attached convention hall and ample parking space.
