Hyatt Place Hampi

We booked 2 nights to see Hampi. During checkin lady told us that Hampi is closed due to G20, we were very disappointed ofcourse. Since had driven more than 300kms - we decided to stay 1 night and check out surroundings at least.

- food experience: mediocre at best
- service: slow and inattentive

On top of this Hampi was open to visitors which we found by accidentally driving in front of it. Hyatt place had no clue about it- if we had just listened to them we would never have seen Hampi.

Overall a very disappointing experience with Hyatt Place!

The Hotel is located near Vidyanagar Airport. The rooms are Big and spacious! Linens are of good quality and clean! Food quality was good. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Hotel's landscape is really nice and very peaceful.

Do keep in mind the hotel is Located 45-60mins drive away from all the main attractions in Hampi.

Beautiful hotel with awesome facilities! Buffet is mind-blowing:) Kaladham art museum is at a walking distance which is a must visit.

> Rooms (Standard one) - Its good enough. Weird TV placement (to the left wall of the bed)
> Mostly all in room amenities and toiletries present which is good and expected.

Very Horrible experience with the room and reception. For the price paid they give you a very small room.

Well maintained interiors and gracious staff. Good choice for a comfortable stay. Food options are not too great. They provide cycles to explore vidyanagar township which is very pretty and clean

Great property replete with excellent rooms and amazingly good food. Loads of spacious area for parking and easy accessibility.

This was a mixed bag for us. What started out as an excellent experience, soon turned out above average at best. What we loved was the service, specifically from Alfan, Anubhav and Chef Tarang. We loved our room which had a private plunge pool. They seem understaffed for full house. We loved the passion with which they operate. Everyone was kind and smiling always. Genuinely good people.

What was average was the food. One dinner buffet was exceptional and the other meals were okay (met expectations). Great cookies! But the very biryani had more whole spices than rice itself. Hit or miss mostly.

What went wrong or could have been better. Some guests definitely got preferential treatment and it was obvious. My son hadn't eaten lunch one day and we came back and desperately ordered a Dosa. Our request was declined in a very matter of fact manner. Though we saw the staff going out of their way for to make special (and more complicated) off menu meals for a few other guests. We ordered a kilogram of specific cookies to take home as gifts and the wrong cookies were sent. We realized only after we got home and complained but nothing could be done about it. Room service was inconsistent. We kept asking them to replace glasses and mugs after use but never got replacements. The mini fridge was empty - not sure why it was there.

Overall, very inconsistent. Having said that, I would be happy to go again and stay here.

Great stay when in Hampi. We stayed in the suite which included a plunge pool. The staff were excellent and went out of their way to make us comfortable. Overall a great stay!

This place services is ossum which i not can express in words this place u can find all types of dishes which is having so spicy food. U can get all the types of facilities and stuff which u need there

Hotel was nice
Everything is good but please arrange some washrooms to the drivers u people have charged 300 rs for it but its a basic need to provide the facilites money is not important but please make a note of it

Just adjoining to Vidyanagar Airport, this is the right place to stay. Best value and top class helpful staff (Vikas) it's a nice hotel with comfortable room and as for the tourist they are very friendly. Food selection is elobarate with good taste.
My suggestion is do consider it

This hotel is an excellent option to stay while visiting either on business or vacation to Hampi. The rooms with private pool also have a sofa cum bed which is very convenient for families with kids. The hotel also offers packages which include chauffeur driven trips to Hampi which is very convenient and affordable. The food is very tasty and the buffet has enough variety to suit every palate. The hotel decor is very elegant and the staff is very friendly, courteous and skilful.

The best place to stay if your visiting Hampi.the hotel is very well laid out with a lot of lung space for all age groups.the rooms are very spacious. Don’t forget to take a plunge in then pool or burn some calories in the gym or relax our body at the Spa.the staff are very accommodating and a must visit place to unwind.located in a township which a midst of nature.don’t forget to visit Kaladamam which is next to the Hotel - gives you a wind of Hampi.

Loved the stay here. Each n every single staff here is so friendly and always have a smile. They prepare customised food for kids on request. Ambience, hygiene, tasty food.relaxing environment.

Good amenities. The hotel is in a really silent part of the Vidyanagar township with nothing around, not even a shop to buy candy. The breakfast spread is excellent. Dinner is good. There is a Ram Mandir nearby. That's about it.

Very Intresting World Heritage Site. I Liked it. But also became Sorrowful when i knew the Detail History of Hampi, How Mughals Destroyed many Part it by their Selfish Attitude. And also Happy when few Good Souls Rectified it to some extent by thier Pure Heart. It is worth Visiting but check the climatic Situation pror to that. All the Best.

Decent place. Staffs are generally good. Food isn't great, especially for non vegetarians, as the options are very less.

This a awesome place to hangout. Food taste here is just fabulous. The place s so pleasent and the service here s also favourable.

A great place with excellent ambiance. The buffet cost is little high. The items are less for that price and also the taste is moderate. We need to have a township Membership to get into the hotel which will be asked by the security before entering the place. In case you don't have a membership then the best option is to call the hotel staff and tell them to the security to allow us in.

Hyatt is good option for luxury stays. It was a really good experience. The food is tasty and service is excellent. Though the Hampi sight seeing and island is far away from the place.

It's a resorts hotel perfect place for peace.
For visit - guys you should hire a taxi or cab for humpi visit.
For staff - according to my experience tousif from f&b service in gallery restaurant and Uday from housekeeping great interaction, perfect hoteliers. This guy's made my stay more comfortable. Other staff are too awesome
